This book was instalove on steroids and very low angst but it was exactly what I was in the mood for. It had likable MCs and an awesome family by blood and choice, as secondary characters. Looking forward to reading more by this author.

I'm so happy, floating on cloud nine! This book was everything ❤️ I loved it from the beginning to the end... I am legitimately excited about this series! Major book-hangover! You know them books you just can’t give up on, like you know this isn’t realistic but you can’t not stop reading it, because it makes you feel good on the inside, all them butterfly’s and your jaw hurts from smiling so hard, gives all the feels and you just know this is going to be fun, because it’s just so damn cheesy but in such a good way?
Don’t look away from this book, I am still on cloud 9 from reading this baby! I loved it so freaking much, there is legit no DRAMA, no UNESASERRY Angst! I was literally waiting for something to drop and my heart would be ruined, because at already 10% I was invested 100% but it wasn’t!
I can’t even with how much love I have with this story. HELLO REED, I see you!

Bitch sit down and prepare yourself for a great little story, it is filled with Family, Love, and Hot Sexy times! Brothers that ride motorbikes, but not like MC club thing just the extreme kind of riding… MOTOCROSS, BMX that kind of awesome riding! And they love with everything they have, the Ryan men are hot alpha men who know what they want and when they find their book, that is it for them. Hello Reed I see you! *swoon*
I loved the writing, Megan has done really well of capturing my attention with her words. I love the characters like FLOVED them like, every, single, RYAN brother, Dad and Granddad!
I read this as one of my First Chapter reads, where I pick 5 books read the first chapter and continue with the one that I couldn’t stop, well I legit couldn’t, I didn’t stop until it was 2am and then I was like I needs me the 2nd book. I grabbed the eBook sample, but I really want it in paperback, there is just something about holding a damn good book and reading it. I want to have that experience again. I did notice the second one isn’t a RYAN brother I was very disappointed in that little fact! Reel me in…with hanging a tight little family over me, hot sexy men, make me fall in love with them all the don’t follow up with another brother in the second book .. WTF!
Any who that my book loving friends is the only thing I was disappointed in but I will read it as soon as I can have that little gem in my hands…
Back to Reed and Bria, well from the first chapter I was hooked. The story is simple it follows the Ryan boys, and welcoming Bria into their tight knit family. With a real cool plot, and fantastic characters I think you will enjoy it as much as I did, if you are looking for something easy, simple and hot.
I just LOVED this family. I felt like I was there watching all of it unfold.
I imagine, this might not be for everyone. But I think if you give this little try you might just find your next favourite family. Yes, there is some bad stuff that happens, but family’s they love and respect each other stick together and can overcome anything. Falling in love with Reed!
Wow, I love this book the main characters grab your attention and pull you in, the side characters. Keep you wanting more. I can't wait till I read the next book in the series. BMX is hot sport, with hot shot dare devils, and the author has captured that perfectly.

Spectacular debut book. I loved the read and fell into it hard. The characters were relate-able and I love insta love books specially when I am having a crap day. Reading a book that gives you both POV's is always a plus for me because I can dig into their minds and see how they really feel instead of me guessing.
Again and amazing read about a family that will melt your heart and a romance that will make you want to live in the book!

This is a phenomenal book!! Full of laughter and an intense amount of love from the beginning. I laughed and cried. It sucked me in from the very get go.
This is my first time I have read a book from this author. But I do believe Megan has a winner here. I had a difficult time putting this book down. It was so darn good!! It was extremely well written. Funny! Charismatic. They dynamics amongst the characters was great. Just an overall wonderful read!!

Bria is a beautiful, young ,and independent woman. She is just about ready to finish up college with a degree in Journalism and public relations. She is loved by everyone who knows and comes in contact with her.

Reed Ryan is the second to the oldest of five brothers. He is a retired BMX rider… it's a family gig. I hope Megan continues to write a book for each of the brothers. I would looooove to read more about these characters… Iam addicted, I can not get enough of them.

Breaking the Cycle by Megan Lowe an explosive five-star read. This is the first book in the Rocking Races. What a first book, it’s been a rough ride for the two main characters, Bria Marie Adams and Reed Cooper Ryan, the have some bumps in the road to happiness, and a great bunch of people to share the ride with but it’s never easy, especially as Reed thinks the Ryan men are cursed to lose all the women in their lives.
Bria is in the right place at the wrong time, after work she pops to her local for a bite to eat, and gets hit upon by three-year-old cutie named Christian or Chris as he is lovingly known by his family and now girlfriend as Bria becomes his girlfriend right there and then, much to the chagrin of his 6ft2 hottie uncle Reed. Some stuff goes down with some racing rivals and a deep bond is created between Bria and Chris, making Reed very jealous, something he hasn’t been for a very long time as he has always kept women at arm’s length due to his fear of the curse.
Bria soon becomes part of the family and her and Reeds relationship develops, and Reed starts to wonder if they will be able break the curse, an explosion later and he starts to have doubts. They start down a rocky road of trying to help friends and family and Bria is still studying the final semester of her degree I journalism and PR. Will the hatred a rival has for Reed become too much for them? Will the curse get them in the end? Or will they get the happy ever after and the son’s that Reed is so desperate to see Bria pregnant with? Only time will tell if they are on the right path.
Megan Lowe wrote a compelling story in this book, it does have some scenes of a sexual nature but nothing to hardcore, even if 50 shades does get a mention. It’s worth each of the five stars I have given it. Book number 2 can’t come quickly enough.

This is an amazing first book in the series! This book makes your heart race in more ways than one!! I love the Ryan Brother's and of course the lovable nephew!! This book focuses mostly on Reed Ryan and his "one" Bria! The two of them have instant chemistry that bonds them together and it is literally love at first sight...I am not usually a fan of these types of books/romances, but it works for this story and these characters.
The Ryan's all race - bikes, motorcycles, etc. and they are all hot, built and lovable - they make the reader swoon, sigh, and become envious of Bria. I love the dynamics that the Ryan's all have. The reader can't help but laugh, smile, and fall in love with each of the Ryan's as they meet them. It is a fun read that leaves the reader wanting more as they read it. They will zoom through the pages and once they finish they will want to start reading it all over again to see what they missed since they read it so quickly the first time.
This book leaves the reading wanting the next book in the series and wanting it now!! They can't get enough of the Ryan's and hopefully they won't have to wait for the next one!! Add this to your TBR list and add it now! It is a must read for any and all readers!! Enjoy!!

Breaking the Cycle by Megan Lowe is book one in the Rocking Racers series and so very addictive. Megan Lowe really has something special here with this series. Breaking the Cycle tells a story about Bria who finishing up her final year a college majoring in PR and Journalism and Reed Ryan who is one the second oldest child of five boys, notorious playboy, retired from competing in motocross and helps his family with their diner, garage and Ryan Racing. Bria and Reed first meet when Bria stops by Wheels diner to eat and immediately Reed knows she's something special when she protects his nephew from tragedy when all hell breaks out at the diner. Reed knows he wants her immediately and not just for the normal couple of hours, he wants her as a permanent fixture in his life especially since his entire family falls head over heels for her in 24 hours. The only problem Reed has is the Ryan curse that seems to strike tragedy upon all the women in the Ryan’s life.
Ok so first of all I loved this book it was absolutely addictive from the beginning. The author did an amazing job with telling the story and building her characters. I hope that she comes out with a book for all the Ryan brothers and members of the Ryan racing team! This story was a insta-love type of love story but so so good. I has everything you can want from a great read: love, drama, angst, happiness and of course hot sex. I give this book 5 stars and can not wait to see what the future holds for the Ryan brothers.

Breaking the Cycle started off fast and I just knew this was going to be a fun read. By mid-point, I felt the tone was a bit young for me. I thought the constant I love you’s, cuteness, and couldn’t keep hands off each other was a bit much. I’m not a fan of instant love but this story worked for me. They had smoking hot chemistry and it was written well. Secondary characters were fun and interesting. Loved the family commitment the Ryans have. Overall, solid characters, interesting storyline, and fun read. I read the second book in the series first and honestly, I liked the second one better. I will definitely check out book 3 in the Rocking Racers series when it comes out.

This is the first book in the series and we are introduced to some seriously hot men!! In this book we are introduced to Reed Ryan (HOLY HOTNESS) and he meets Bria... This is their love story. What a story it is..
I was absolutely captured by this story. Once I was pulled in I could barely put it down.. I can not wait for the next book and next hot guy in this series!! I hope this author writes fast!!!

I'm so glad I read this book next because I really enjoyed it and it gave me hope.

And omg if this is her first book and she hit it out of the park I can't wait to see what the future holds for her. I absolutely loved this book and all The Ryans!!!! I am already missing them and am planning on a reread and can't wait for more books about this lovable family. I loved the dual pov's in this book, my only thing was I would have loved to hear the epilogue in both instead of just one but that's just me being picky...lol

This is a great insta-love read. Bria is a college student that is depending how you look at it at the wrong place at the wrong time. When things go south her instincts are to protect a little boy close by, this has the Reed racing men fall in love with her. The Reed racing family is a known name in motor cross and we get a look inside their racing world. Great read, loved the family dynamic.

This has the makings of a fantastic series. There are so many other characters that I'd love to see where their stories take them. This is a love at first sight story, a family cursed when it comes to the women they love, rivalry, forgiveness, love and hope.
BRIA Adams is a student weeks away from graduating uni. She works at Coles supermarket and is studying to work in the PR field. She goes to Wheels several times a week to grab a bite to eat. The Ryan's men own it and have several siblings that the uni girls come in to admire. While at the diner Bria gets caught up with the Ryan’s rivals as they get ransacked.
Reed Ryan is the second oldest of five boys. They all work with the diner and the Ryan racing team along with their Pa and Pops. While on a shift the Devil's attack the diner and that's when his life takes him in a direction he never thought he'd consider..
When Bria and Reed set eyes on each other they instantly felt that electrical zapp and knew something was happening. They knew it was special and it was happening fast. The only problem was the Ryan's usually didn't want to get involved with women, because their family was cursed. However, his instinct is nudging him to take a chance.
““Can I see you tomorrow night?...people will talk. The famous Reed Ryan, notorious womaniser, seen with the same girl three nights in a row.” “...I know this has been fast, but there’s something drawing me to you, something I’ve never experienced before. It’s making me want to do things I’ve never done. I know I have a reputation, we all do, my brothers and I, but my pa and pop always told us that when we find the girl we’re meant to be with nothing will stop us.””

This book starts off with a bang. It sucked me right in and I was having a hard time putting it down. I have to talk about Reed and his family first. Wow! Reed! Not only him but his brothers... it was weird how everyone was on board with Bria almost from the first second they saw her. Maybe because Chris felt so comfortable with her from the start. I am not sure but there was some kind of a connection. Reed didn't even hesitate in having Bria be his game changer and he even took all the ribbing from his brothers with no embarrassment. I love their sense of family and how tight they all are with each other. Who am I kidding I love Reed's character!! Where can I sign up to get one of him?....Oh wait there are 4 others...Yay! The brothers Park, Max, Liam and Mav are amazing secondary characters. Let's not forget Chris, Parks son. They have a great camaraderie within the family but are a strong wall to outsiders. Pa and Pop were hard for me to understand just because I kept getting them mixed up since they both are names for Dad ( I couldn't remember which was the elder one sometimes) but other than that the story flowed seamlessly. I have to say the men and their family were a huge attraction to me with this story. Let me say it again…. Reed (sigh)

Her struggle was being okay with how fast things were moving between her and Reed. She was not as worried about the family curse as Reed. She just figured to take it one day at a time. She took to that family as they did to her...like ducks on water.

Breaking the Cycle by Megan Lowe is Book 1 in the Rocking Racers Series. I can only hope that there will be 7 or 8 additional books that follow the Ryan family and friends through racing, romance and adventures. Reed Ryan is one of a whole bunch of good looking Ryan Brothers. Counting on my fingers there are Parker, Reed, Liam, Maverick and Jackson – that makes 5. There is also the father, grandfather and Parker’s son Chris who is an adorable 3 year old. The Ryan Brothers are cycle racers; Motocross, BMX, and factory racers. They own a diner, a garage, several homes and The Ryan Racing Team. Hmmm, I wonder if I’m a little too “into” the Ryan Brothers – nahhhh

Bria goes to her local burger joint where she happens to be in the right place at the wrong time this is where she meets her little boyfriend three year of Christian/ Chris who she is completely taken by such a cutie, Christian is over the moon and start calling Bria his girlfriend which makes the 6ft god like man chuckle getting her attention and sparks start flying instantly .Once the god like man introduce himself as Reed Chris’s uncle she know she’s in trouble he’s got to her there attraction is sizzling hot and she cant turn away. Reed is one of many of the Ryan brothers he use to race but retired due to his rivals but still works along side his brothers. When reed meets Bria he knows straight away she’s different to the rest of the women he has slept with she’s not just a one night stand she’s his forever and he wants everything with her but cant help the doubt of the family curse creeping into his thoughts. Will he be able to overcome the fear of the curse and be happy with Bria?
I haven’t given much away as I think It would be a shame to spoil such a great read what I will say if your not a fan of instant love this isn’t for you. This novel is full of love , passion , drama and will keep hooked all the way through right till the very last word. I loved the Ryan family they were fun loving and so hot cant wait to here from the next brother. You will instantly fall in love with this novel if you love hot alpha family oriented men a awesome women lead who is strong, caring and loving and a story with drama and obstacles getting in there way. I highly recommend this novel truly is amazing and written beautifully.

Breaking the Cycle by Megan Lowe is book one in a series called Rocking Racers. It’s a fast paced love story between Reed Ryan and Bria Adams. Reed is a former playboy, has tattoos, and used to race. Actually, it runs in the family and the Ryans seem to breed very handsome, very sweet men. Bria is about to graduate, has blonde hair, a sweet disposition, and comes into their restaurant, Wheels, one night. Though little Chris calls dibs on her first, it’s Reed who wins her heart. Chris is my favorite character in the whole book. He’s three and everyone’s world seems to revolve around him.
The action starts right away in this book. For starters, this is a beautiful example of insta-love, which I adore in romance novels. These two fall for each other right away and she fits like the missing piece of a puzzle. His whole family referred to her as his game changer from night one. It seems she was a game changer for all of them. Her family loves him right away too.
The Ryan Racing team has a bitter Rival named Hunter, who will stop at nothing to get revenge on them and hurt them any way he can. Bria gets caught up in it a couple times, and it’s crazy! Also, the Ryans don’t have the best luck when it comes to keeping the women they love. There is some action and shocking moments along the way.
Reed is the ultimate book boyfriend. He’s the guy you love to read about, who says and does all the right things, and he’s totally swoon-worthy. I look forward to book two. This was my first book by Megan and I enjoyed her writing style and the way the book flowed.

Racing is their life but it can also be their downfall with the opposite sex. Reed separates himself so he doesn’t ever fall in love. The problem with that comes in right about the time Bria does.
Bria is a beautiful, loveable college student who walks into a dinner for some food and walks out with her head in the clouds do to one Reed Ryan. She also becomes ensnared in the handsome face and sweetheart of a child Christian. While Bria and Ryan try to uncover if what they feel is the real deal or just insta-lust they have to venture through the Ryan family and rival racers. Is Bria the one to break the so called curse? Can their love hold?
I loved this book the characters were great! The secondary characters keep me wanting more. I really can’t wait for the next one to come out. I had a very hard time putting this book down. It is a good paced book. It was good to see how their love progressed; from the maybe I love him/her to yep I defiantly love him/her. Great Job Megan Lowe!!

A story of true love and the power to unleash the curse of a family, “Breaking the Cycle” by Megan Lowe is a very cute and heartwarming story. Bria, a college senior just trying to graduate finds herself in the middle of a rivalry but ends up with the love of her life. Reed, ex-BMX rider and the second eldest of 5 boys and a notorious playboy finds love at first sight. This couple is super sweet together and the connection that they have is incredible. The entire Ryan clan is amazing and they know how to rally together and protect the ones that they love, especially Bria. It was really awesome to see that one of the brothers is gay. I was super surprised with that and really impressed. In most books where there are multiple brothers, all of them are straight. This was a nice twist. I hope that he has his own book in the series. Little Ryan is absolutely adorable and adds to the story wonderfully. Yes, there are sexy scenes in this book and they are hot, hot, hot! I was very surprised with how steamy the scenes were in a story that is super sweet. There are tons of twists and turns, which gave the story depth and kept me on my toes. This book is written very well and a total page turner. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone. I adored it and can’t wait for the next one!

Breaking the Cycle by Megan Lowe was a very fast paced read. The first book in this series and I can't wait for more from the Ryan Family!!
Bria visits the diner across the street from work quite often. On one particular night she's greeted by a young little boy named Christian and his Uncle Reed. When a fight breaks out in the kitchen, Bria keeps little Christian safe, which is rare since he doesn't take to women very well. Going through this ordeal opens the doors to her meeting the whole Ryan family. Reed has decided that she is his "game changer". And he will stop at nothing to get her to be his. Can they weather the storms that are sure to come? Will Bria be the one to break the curse on the Ryan family and their women?
Bria is going to school and also working. When its easier to eat out, she visits Wheels, the diner by her work. When she comes face to face with Reed Ryan, she's smitten and they begin a very fast paced romance. After saving the youngest Ryan boy Christian, she's welcomed into the family and then even more so when Reed claims her as his. Wanting to finish school and get her head on straight, she takes a break from Reed, but when an opportunity arises she decodes to lay her claim on him. Through all the ups and downs, she knows Reed is her forever after and while using her education to help the family business, what else could she ask for?
Reed Ryan was at the top of his career on the racing circuit when the safety of himself and other riders began to be put at risk, he retired. Taking a back seat in the family business, he finds himself falling instantly for Bria and her quick integration into his family. When your family has bad luck with the women in their lives, time is of the essence, so the relationship is rushed from the start. Reed loves hard and fast but can he get Bria on the same page as him?
I really loved all the men in the Ryan family and how close they all are. Perfect mix of romance, hot love scenes and of course some drama and action scenes, this was a great book and I can't wait to hopefully read more about the Ryan men!

Breaking the Cycle by Megan Lowe is an unbelievably fun romance. Breaking the Cycle is the first book in the Rocking Racers series but does not have a cliffhanger. The story introduces you to a cast of characters in the Ryan family. The family is all good looking men but unfortunately there is a dark cloud that hangs over the men in the family when they fall in love. The men fall in love but tragedy always seems to affect the women in their life.
This particular story introduces Reed Ryan; he is sexy, funny and does not plan to fall in love. He is involved in the family business that includes Wheels, their restaurant, garage and also a racing motor bike team that includes the entire family. He is considered a playboy and never planned on getting serious with anyone mostly due to the Family’s curse.
Bria Adams is the game changer, which is what all the Ryan men call her for Reed. She is a college student, curvy brown eyed beauty. She is loving, caring, and head strong when it is necessary. But, Reed is not the first Ryan male to fall for Bria. Chris, Reed’s nephew, who doesn’t have a fondness for woman, falls for Bria. Everyone in the Ryan family is shocked with how quickly Chris takes to her.
Reed falls immediately for Bria, realizing that she is his game changer. She also falls for Reed, and the entire Ryan family. But becoming involved in the family puts her in the sights of someone who has it out for Reed and his family.

This book was a good story about insta-love. It happens quickly for Reed and Bria. She is trying to get dinner and the next minute she is dating Reed. They have a lot happen during their short time together but love is the main the thing that is represented.
The author did a great job telling their story. You get to know the family, the history, and lots of yummy scenes.
I loved the epilogue, I am a sucker for the ending to show us where the couple ends up. If you love sports, romance, and laughter, you will love this one.

I really loved this crazy, fun l love at first sight love story of Reed and Bria. Reed Ryan’s family is completely full of men. The Ryan men are great at racing and finding love, but they are unlucky at keeping their loves. To avoid this unlucky streak, Reed never planned to fall in love, but the minute he met Bria, he fell. The Ryan family is facing threats by a racing competitor, Devil’s Racing. Bria and Reed need to hang on to each other to overcome the adversity that they face.
Bria is a great character: sweet, loving, and forgiving. I loved her interaction with the littlest Ryan, Christian. She handles him wonderfully. Reed is the second oldest Ryan brother and is a fantastic brother, uncle, and son. I enjoyed reading about their relationship. They were instantly ignited as a couple and did not fizzle out throughout the entire book. Even through the hard times, they just work as a couple with love and respect for each other. Another relationship that I enjoyed reading about is Bria and her best friend, Grayson. Grayson is protective over Bria, and Bria is protective over Grayson. Grayson is sassy and sweet. I am hoping that Megan Lowe tell us Grayson’s story at some point in this series.
The book was well written and flowed well. There was never a dull moment throughout the entire book. I had a hard time putting down this story. At the beginning, I was worried that relationship between Reed and Bria was too quickly formed and would not feel genuine. Luckily, that was not the case. The author did a great job at making you care about the characters in the story. I love the whole Ryan family and their friends! I am excited for the next story in this series!

I really loved this crazy, fun l love at first sight love story of Reed and Bria. Reed Ryan’s family is completely full of men. The Ryan men are great at racing and finding love, but they are unlucky at keeping their loves. To avoid this unlucky streak, Reed never planned to fall in love, but the minute he met Bria, he fell. Breaking the Cycle by Megan Lowe definitely caught my attention firstly by the cover. The gorgeous cover would catch someone's eye if you seen it. So I know people say ‘don’t judge a book by it’s cover.’ BUT you should in this situation. Because when you actually read this marvelous book you will not be disappointed.
This is one of the hardest reviews that I have had to do only because this book was so good. I am not going to spoil anything for you of course but tell you what I think of this wonderful book.
Welcome to one of the sweetest books that you are going to find. When I define sweet I mean you want to blush because the freaking the couple is just the best. You fall in love with them. Sure they are not all about the sweetness and they got a lot of sexy time involved so don’t be deterred just simply because I said sweet. Ms. Lowe makes sure it has a little bit of everything, for everyone.

Where the boys are hot and even good at racing their bikes. You get to meet not only the main character in this book Reed Ryan, but you get to meet all the brothers and their family. A family filled with men they have been missing something for a while. A key part that would make these guys whole.
In walks in Bria. A sweet girl who was even sweeter to the littles Ryan of them all. What kind of girl does it take to be able to catch a Ryan you ask? A sweet girl, that has a tender heart that catches the eyes (not like that) of all the Ryan men (some of them more like boys.) A girl who likes carmel shakes, footy and of course loves to be part of the family.
When things keep happening in their lives they wonder when it is all going to stop. Until someone from the past walks in their lives and it might be a game changer for multiple people in the family.
Fall in love with this family like I have. Believe in love.
This is not a book that would easily disappoint.

Breaking the Cycle is the first book in the Rocking Racers Series by Megan Lowe. Although it’s part of a series, this book does end with an epilogue, so you’re not left with a cliffhanger. It’s told in alternating point of view by the two main characters, Bria and Reed, but there are many characters with large roles in this book.
Each of the men in the Ryan family are insanely charming; especially, Reed. Between his playboy status with the women, love of racing motorbikes and his good looks, the women flock to him. However, the Ryan boys have a rule-they never get serious or attached to women anymore because they feel their family is cursed with tragedy when women are involved with them.
Bria Adams is a curvy brown eyed beauty who draws the attention of Reed. Between school and working to try to get by, she hasn’t really had much time to date. But, when she meets Reed, she throws caution to the wind despite his bad boy reputation and rumors.
They fall into love immediately. Reed calls her the game-changer.
“So quickly you’ve become my whole world.”
As they start to appear more in the spotlight at racing events with his family, it definitely doesn’t go unnoticed that Reed has a weak spot for a beautiful girl. And, when you have a local rivalry motorbike team, will that stir up some trouble?
Can Reed keep her safe and out of harm’s way now that he’s shown a weakness for a woman? Can she break the Ryan family’s misfortune when it comes to the ladies they love?

I recommend Breaking the Cycle if you like insta-love and sexy contemporary romances. I liked how there were many side characters who were actively involved in the whole story line. This is my first novel to read by Megan Lowe, but I’ll definitely read more
