He broke her heart ten years ago and now he’s back, filthy rich, and looking for a wife for him and a mother for his child!

Kathy has never forgiven Lucas for breaking her heart in college, but she put it all behind her, hoping she would never see him again. But fate has a way of playing with emotions, and as soon as she’s ready to move on with her life, Lucas reappears as the parent of one of her little students. He’s as handsome as ever, as charming as always, and determined to win her heart once again. She’s ten years older now, so much smarter, and Lucas, sexy or not, will not be able to win her trust ever again. The last time she trusted him, he betrayed her, and she was no fool.

Lucas never imagined he’d ever see her again, not in his wildest dream. But there she was, as sexy as the last time he’d seen her

Ten years after their painful breakup, he’s super-rich and his money can buy everything he desires, except Kathy’s trust. That’s not for sale and she let him know it. He still desires Kathy, and fiercely wants her - physically and emotionally. But she keeps pushing him away, as she should, except he didn’t get rich by quitting, and this was not the time to give up. Kathy was his and his alone. One way or the other, he’d make her realize that he had changed since college.

The story just dragged on (even though it's only 159 pages), especially since Kathy was a very unlikable character. She is supposed to be a 30 year old teacher, but she acts more like an 18 year old silly girl-constantly changing her mind, running off crying and bringing up something that happened 10 years ago, when they were both 20, that Lucas very genuinely apologized for. She continuously gives out mixed signals. I was actually hoping Lucas would tell her off and go find another woman to fall in love with.

Two unbelievable characters

Sorry just couldn't get into this book. The H spoke in (what was probably the authors voice) truly effeminate terms. " I smiled my boyish grin". Finally.the reason they broke up in college isn't revealed until more than half way through the story...I got tired of waiting. Trying to think of one word to describe it...benign.

No sizzle.

The story sounded God in the blurb, and I guess it was well written but there was no heat. No sizzle. It really seemed kind of flat and the more I read the more bored I got.

I stop reading at 25%. The book started of good as a sample but just got worse and annoying. This is about a girl who can't get over the love of life even 10 years later. The guy end up to be the father of one of her student. The character were 30 years old but I felt like I was reading character like they were 13. Just the way the whole plot was. He keep saying he sorry for leaving. They don't tell you why they broke up or how he hurt her. Give me something to understand your pain and why you're running from the man please. This is why I stop reading. They met in college and blah blah blah. They were together for over year a year. He met some of her friends here and there. Come on if I was with someone for a year and it taking 10 years to forget him. He better know all my friends and family. He kept saying she sexy and blah blah blah. Then it got to a point when they were kissing she was like o I still haven't lost my virginity yet. Wtf get out it here stop. It already getting lame but to add that made me just stop. Not asking for a lot of love making senses. I'm just asking to be real and this story line is nothing close to being real. It like trying to fake being innocent.

Wtfery ...!!!

The Hero, Lucas, what on earth..his just materialistic yeah yeah hus a billionaire but that's all he does remind us how rich he is.Eurgh.

The heroine, Kathy. How old is she, such a hormonal teenager. She was super annoying. Forever hot and cold.It got really annoying and she was forever crying in the beginning.

If they didn't state how old they were you would mistake this as a YA romance because 99% of the time I was convinced that they were. She is purely immature for a grown woman.Bleurggghhh. The hell is wrong with her, favoritising Sophie and saying it out loud. You don't fucking do that. Ever.

This book should definitely have been a YA romance. It's rather pathetic how after 10 years she continues to be totally 'heart broken', and the reason why is a joke.I just couldn't believe it.Kathy forever goes on about her heart ache. Its pathetically sad because it's like a teenage romance fall out.

Eurghh..

A K/U book.

This is a really cute story, but it there was ever a book in need of an epilogue, this is the book.

Lucas and Kathy dated in college and he broke her heart. Kathy never thought she'd see him again
nor did she ever plan on it. She was surprised to look up and see that he is one of her preschool students parent. Emotions that she thought were dead and buried resurfaced and she realized that she is still very much hurt by and angry with Lucas.

Lucas can't believe his eyes when he goes to to pick up his daughter from preschool and see's that the only woman that he has ever truly loved is her teacher. Lucas knows that he has hurt her and will probably never be able to truly apologize to her for the pain that he has caused, but he is going to do everything in his power to make her realize that he is still in love with her and that he wants a second chance.

Many, many errors

So many errors in spelling, word usage and tense. Stories were okay, but characters were lacking in development. Also, the author kept using the word gosh, even during sex scenes. Nobody says gosh anymore, also she referred to many of the female characters as ' the girl ' use a pronoun or better yet, the characters name. Not an author I will read again.

In theory the plot to this book sounds good, however, the heroine was annoying and whiney. I skipped whole sections of the book because I couldn't take her indecision any longer. I found myself wishing that Lucas would just move on with someone else.

This story was ok to me. There was nothing that really stood out for me, positive or negative. It ends at 43% and includes 2 other books; I didn't read those.
