THE WEIRD, THE WONDERFUL AND THE DOWNRIGHT ILLEGAL!

Mega-City One – a nightmarish enclosure located along the Eastern Seaboard of North America. Only the Judges – powerful law enforcers supporting the despotic Justice Department – can stop total anarchy running rife on the crime-ridden streets. Toughest of them all is Judge Dredd – he is the law and these are his stories...

The madness of Mega-City One comes to light once more, as Judge Dredd has to fend off a mob of sex-crazed robots, battle corruption in the Mega-City fast food championship and take a tough stance against the latest Mega-City fashion trend – the risqué Peek-A-Boo pants!

Pretty standard Dredd stuff, with some notable highlights being the intense nightmare imagery of “The Haunting of Sector House 9” and the tasteless (but really funny) “Requiem For a Heavyweight”. I also can’t forget “Portrait of a Politician”, which features some of the best drawings of an orangutan I’ve ever seen. Pretty enjoyable stuff in this volume, but it doesn’t stand out much.

Nothing that shook my world. Good quality Dredd fun with good art. Although I must admit: Dredd vs. Predator was much more fun and exciting that I expected.

Turns out Judge Dredd versus The Predator was really enjoyable. Good selection of other stories too.
