"He’s exactly what I never knew I wanted.”

“Delicious is my life.”

Owning his own business gives Gavin Campbell the sense of security that was sorely lacking in his childhood. He’s poured everything he has into making his bakery, Delicious, a thriving success… and it’s worked. Between his small circle of close friends and his round-the-clock work schedule, Gavin really doesn’t think there’s anything missing in his life. Or if there is, he certainly doesn’t have time to worry about it.

“I’d do anything for you. You know that.”

With his warm heart, outgoing personality, and generous nature, Ben Edwards is the walking definition of a people person. Everyone likes Ben, even the string of ex-girlfriends who wish they could have inspired him to want more than the casual dating that seems to be the only thing he’s capable of. Ben wouldn’t mind sharing his life with someone, but he has yet to meet the person who makes him want more.

“I want to be the one who takes care of you.”

When Ben asks Gavin to be part of a promotional campaign for the small, home town bank that has been in his family for generations, he inadvertently causes an accident that leaves Gavin unable to work. While Gavin worries that he’ll lose everything that he’s worked so hard for, Ben is blindsided by his unexpected attachment to the other man. Thrown together, both will find that just because nothing is missing, it doesn’t mean they can’t each find exactly what they need once they finally come together.

Oooooooo I canNOT contain my joy! Such a bloody sweet story. Ben was SOOO adorable, making me want to alternately pull his cheeks and give a slap on the head to help open his eyes to what was happening. His jealous tantrums! Bwaahhahaha. Poor Gavin. Being tempted beyond anything while not seeing any way around it. The story was so funny and so sweet and so bloody DELICIOUS! And the icing on the cake in the form of Danny and Mace's wedding. Oh, what more can a girl want?

Now that we have two characters covered, can we have Jeremy's story too? And maybe Cash, too? Both are super cute.

Love, love, love your work, Ms Riley. PLEAAAASEEE keep it up! Xoxo

This book is ridiculously fluffy with no angst whatsoever.

Everything was so easy: the way Ben accepted that he was attracted to Gavin, the way Ben's dad came around (homophobia to full acceptance just like that), the way Gavin's foot healed ... no drama, no conflict, no tension.

Prepare for a slow burn, relatively low steam, and a blindingly sweet HEA.

BUT: again with the bi erasure. I don't understand why "bisexual" is such a hard concept to grasp for these authors. SERIOUSLY, do better.

*** Delicious and delightful !! *** I won't be able to say enough about this GFY, "gay for you," story ! It deserves more than 5 stars...! LOVED IT !

Ben, 6'5," 30 yr. old Banker, is looking for love in all the wrong places.
Workaholic, Gavin, 24, business owner of a Bakery, with dimples and a positive vibe, has not had time to even look for his "one" and only.
These two have met at the Bank, but now, Ben needs Gavin to pose for a new Bank campaign, and next thing we know,

Ben is carrying Gavin into the ER !! Ben swoops in to care for him, not even realizing Gavin is gay, he takes him home and the feelings begin to take hold. Ben has never wanted a man, and is confused by his emotions. Hot fantasies are raining in his mind !

It's Gavin that pulls him, mesmerizes him, and makes him want. Deep characters, thought filled musings, an interesting mix of family and friends.

Ben's speech to his Dad is priceless. "sigh...".

We get to see Mace and Danny from the book, Someday, which is an added bonus for us, so cute.
This story is extremely well written, every aspect we want is there, carefully crafted, and brings the reader along for the magnificent ride.
We also get some steamy first time M/M action for Ben. ..."nnnnnggghhhhhhhh ...."

He is terrific as he navigates his new feelings, and isn't afraid to try this new adventure.
Very sexy, very hot, and very exciting !
The guy's banter, conversations, and funny situations are wonderful. This is a totally sure-fire romance you will love.

Highly recommend this tale for any lover of romance ! ENJOY !!!

I really like this series.

--------------------------------

Simply adorable.

I liked this one just a bit more than the first book.

Gavin is the owner of the bakery Delicious and is working his ass off since he opened 18 months ago. His friends constantly tell him he needs to let his employees handle more so he can slow down a bit, but Gavin wants to make sure his baby is doing well.

When Gavin gets approached by his banker to have some pictures taken for a promotional campaign, Gavin jumps at the chance for some extra publicity for his business. Especially since it's the handsome Ben Edwards asking.

Ben is convinced Gavin would make a good model for the promotional posters for the bank he works for. The family business needs people like Gavin, real customers who people will recognize and trust.

It's not necessary for Ben to be present during the photo shoot, but he can't seem to stop himself. He has no idea why but he just wants to be close to Gavin all the time. But when Gavin breaks his foot during the shoot, Ben feels awful since he was somewhat responsible for the fall. So when Gavin is done at the hospital Ben takes him home. To Ben's home that is.

Gavin doesn't know what to think about Ben's proposal to stay with him while his foot heals. Even though Gavin knows he would have a very hard time with all the stairs in his apartment, he is not sure he can be around a man he is so attracted to. Especially since Ben told him he is straight.

But even though Ben feels confused about all the conflicting emotions, he knows he doesn't want to let Gavin go after spending several weeks with him. Now he needs to figure out why that is..

I loved how Ben constantly took care of Gavin. As a 'straight' man he was very comfortable with touching Gavin. They were kind of in a relationship from the start, even though Gavin thought Ben was straight and Ben was feeling confused.

It felt very natural when Ben finally had his big epiphany. I especially loved the way he came out. No weird oh, how am I going to tell my family.. No, he just blurted it out when he figured it out himself (during family dinner).

We got sweet, yet hot sexy times to go with this adorable romance, so overall this was a very nice fluffy read.

We first met Gavin Campbell in book one (Someday) – he’s the gay owner of the bakery Delicious and best friend to previous MC and cake-decorating-extraordinaire, Danny.

Gavin’s spent the past few years giving everything he’s got into building his business into a thriving enterprise. He spends every waking hour working or thinking about work, with very little time to smell the roses, let along think about his non-existent love life. He’s too busy to really realise he’s lonely, but that’s the price he’s willing to pay for Delicious to be a success.

Then we have Ben Edwards. Ben is a kind-hearted, wildly generous, straight man, who works for his family’s small-town bank. He wants to emulate the love his parent’s share, but he’s never felt that strong pull towards any of the women he’s dated in the past. He figures love just isn’t in the cards for him, and he’s okay with that because what he does love is his life and his family, and that’s enough for him.

When Ben approaches Gavin to be in a promotional campaign for the bank, as one of their most successful and loyal customers, Ben begins to feel things for the other man that shock and surprise him, but leave him feeling more alive than ever. When Ben realises Gavin is gay, he begins to wonder what it would be like to be with another man – but not just any man, Gavin himself.

An accident brings Ben and Gavin into close proximity for a while and the two men quickly grow attached to one another and develop quite a great friendship along the way.

Gavin wants more from his new straight friend, but he’s becoming resigned to the fact that even though Ben is touchy-feely and flirty, it’s all innocent and will lead nowhere. Or will it?

This was a very sweet, romantic and enjoyable gay-for-you romance. The characters were lovable and their slow-burn had a lovely progression that had me turning the pages at lightning speed, eager for more.

I needed something dependably fluffy, with guaranteed good feels, and that’s exactly what I got with this story. Sierra Riley is now my go-to author for when I want plenty of sweetness and romance in my reading – she delivers every time.

Another win for this series, I liked this more than the first.

The blurb really does say it all. Gavin has no time for anything but his bakery. He’s worked hard to make it successful, and his controlling nature makes it very difficult to delegate and let go. Fortuitously(?) an untimely accident occurs, and Gavin must take a step back from his workload. Thankfully, Ben is there to help him out, making him realize there’s more to life than work and that he does want a someone special to share it with. Too bad Ben is straight.

Ben has always wanted grand love, but having never felt that spark to go beyond casual dating, he’s resigned himself to the fact that it’s just not in the cards - there’s no such thing as a perfect compatible relationship. That is, until Gavin. The charming, frank, and caring guy matches him in every aspect. Again, too bad Ben is straight - otherwise Gavin would be the perfect someone special. Yeah… that really is unfortunate.

These boys dance and dance and dance. It could’ve been annoying but both were very likeable characters and their interactions were very fun. Similar to the first book where there’s a lot of “is he?”, “why can’t he be?”, “we’re just friends”, “I can’t”, “I’m not”, this had very little angst but just enough to make it interesting. Sweet sexy easy. Definitely an author and series to come back to when you want exactly that.

YEAH! Really LOVE this one!!!!
5*

Warning: Is this an amazing plot and high quality writing book? NO. So, why I give it the 5 Stars? Because I enjoyed every chapter!! Really! This is a total subjective opinion of course but yeah it has just the things I like!

Why I Loved:
♥ SLOW BURN
♥ This book is SO FUNNY!! A sitecom style jokes and misunderstandings but make me laugh loud!!
♥ **Sexual tension everywhere alert**
♥ The cover! They fit the character descriptions, they look happy, they have clothes :D and cinnamon rolls !!

♥ The “While you where sleeping” dialogue!! LOVE that film!
“Can you give me a reason not to go out with this guy tomorrow?” Gavin asked.
Just in case.
Just to be sure.
“I…” Ben paused, looking torn, but then shook his head. “No. I can’t.”
Gavin sighed, letting him go. “That’s what I thought.”

♥ Ohh the “villain” of the story, James was terrible! “ team rocket “ style bad guy you know xD He tried hard to be an asshole but all the time turns fine for Gavin at the end!
♥ Dimples as solution for every bad feeling in the world

Now, My request is to write a book for Jeremy and another one for Cash of courseee! :*)

I haven't given up yet. I can't help but to keep giving this author a chance :-P. Though I AM picky about which ones I do give a chance to, after Guardian, I am on a mission to find another book this author has written that I like just as much as that book. I anticipate it being THIS one. We shall see ...

The blurb pretty much self explanatory....

This book was delicious in every way. Yep, I had to throw that in there: it was a given. We have two MC's: Gavin and Ben. They are both a lot of a like in a lot of ways. Gavin, we met as a side character form "Someday". Sierra fleshed him out and I did not think I could like these two any better than Mace and Danny from "Someday" but I did. I find Gavin lovable, funny and adorable. His concern and his hours worked at the bakery is understandable and totally realistic. He wants to make sure, due to an unstable home life, this was his "baby". No one can do for your "baby" except yourself. Ben, also, works hard in his "family's banking business". He enjoys his work and the community. By a freak chance, Gavin breaks his ankle in an ad campaign and Ben, invites him to recuperate there. Each one wants a relationship; but work tends to interfere.Gavin is gay and Ben is straight and doesn't "feel" wired for love because he has never had a relationship with intense feelings for anyone. His break ups were all amicable and best friends with all. . All changes in a heartbeat. This book was humorous, entertaining and fun. I felt in more cases that the followup book or the 2nd one in the series: was not "quite" as good as book one. "Delicious" I found to my delight proved just as good as "Someday". This is an entertaining, delightful read. I believe Sierra Riley is getting better with each book. I notice her titles are aptly named: because this book was simply "Delicious".

Sigh... hello hot guys on the cover!

I've recently become quite addicted to this author; it's rare that I find one I'm not completely in love with, although it has happened it's definitely not the case with this one. I absolutely adored Gavin and Ben. Gavin, we remember from Danny and Mace's story "Someday" and let me tell you, they just might be my favorite of all Ms. Riley's books, I was so glad to see them back in this one; especially the ending for them <3 Swooon!

And Ben, formally straight, close with his family who all work in the same family bank that they all ran.... His dad annoyed me A LOT and I really thought his brother was going to be a d-bag, seeing how they were quite homophobic in the beginning... Later, I realized that like so many people, they come across being biggoted jerks because they just don't understand. People are uneasy with things they don't understand....does that give you a reason to be hateful or disrespecful? Absolutely not, but both of them put their narrowmindedness away and was open to accept that their brother/son might have feelings for a man. They just wanted him to be happy, plus once they met Gavin, you couldn't help but love him. And Ben's mom.... well, you just didn't wanna cross her, and she loved Gavin as well.... When Gavin gets hurt and Ben takes care of him until he can get back on his feet (literally, he broke his foot), he starts to realize his feelings for Gavin..... it was cute watching him get there, even if it did suck a little bit for Gavin. It only took seeing him go on a date one time for him to get his head out and claim his man. It was a sweet ride and I love almost every second of it.

The only parts I didn't like, was James (Gavin's ex).... a nurse and an extremelly unprofessional one at that. Giving Gavin drugs to cause trouble and lying about him being allergic to different kinds? He should have lost his job for that. He was catty, rude, disrespectful and just an all out petty, juvenile person. And the doctor from that same hospital, who was there when Gavin got hurt, when he saw Ben comforting him with a hand on him hand, he was rude and unprofessional as well... I can't stand that in today's world, people are still so narrowminded and digusting.
Get over yourselves people... Who people choose to be with, is none of your business... If it doesn't effect you, then why do you take it upon yourself to get worked up about it... I just don't understand.... Why can't we just all live and and let live! Jeeeeez....And then that doctor went and told Ben's dad that he was "concerned" that Ben might be gay? LOL How ignorant... i hated that somebody didn't feed him his teeth, the idiot!
Okay, so... that's the only parts I didn't like.... I'm glad when James came back around he got put in his place... not in the way I'd have done it but still.... I hate when the bad guys get away with being terrible people; it bugs me... I need karmatic justice!

Overall, it was still a 5 star read!

OH... and I really really really really really really REALLY hope we get something great from Cash next! :) .... He needs some goodness and a hot boy of his own; preferably the one he's pining over.. I hate unrequited love... Crossin my fingers for him over here!

Sierra has done it again. I enjoyed this story of Gavin and Ben. They were great together and had chemistry from the beginning of the story. This book didn't have a lot of angst which fit perfectly with the story. Ben didn't fight with himself when he fell for Gavin. His family was great and Gavin has wonderful friends as well. We met Gavin in Someday and I was hoping he would get his HEA. Danny is still one of my favorite characters. Overall a sweet story about finding the person who completes you. ** I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK, BY THE AUTHOR, IN RETURN FOR AN HONEST REVIEW **

*Warning: this book, for some reason, made me really snarky. So be prepared for SPOILERS, snark and some bitching ahead.*

So, it happened again. I will never understand this need to start a book with a) a sex scene and b) a sex scene between characters we don't yet know, care about and who haven't even met each other yet. It makes no sense to me. The whole point of a romance novel is to figure out, along the way, whether they get together or not. Yet, unfortunately, each Sierra Riley book I've read follows the same pattern of having a smexy prologue that ruins the entire story for me. There is no longer any “will-they-won't- they” because we're told in the Prologue that they get their rocks off together. Worse still is that, after finishing the book, it's obvious that the author picks the most important sex scene for the prologue, which just makes me even angrier.

I like a little mystery in my romance and, sadly, Sierra Riley can no longer offer that.

I really loved Someday, which was refreshing, light, fun and had a touch of a crime element to it. Although it was slightly predictable, I passed that off, because I'm a crime nut and I've learned to see the signs of whodunits early on.

Sadly, Delicious didn't live up to Someday's standards.

Gavin was a too-rigid character, lacking the playful spontaneity and feistiness that Danny had in Someday. Ben wasn't much better. A banker and business owner are kind of fitting for a relationship, as they both understand long hours and hard work, appreciating and understanding each other's dedication to the job. But, despite attempts to make Ben seem more fun (organising fun runs, charity and advertising events) it didn't really work. He was a possessive, judgmental Alpha mate. And not in the good way, either.

So...the formula stuck straight and true. We started with a steamy Prologue of explicit gay sex, between Ben and Gavin. Two people I don't care about in the least, because I don't know them. (Gavin wasn't exactly memorable from Someday, when Danny stole the spotlight) I have no emotional interest or investment in either of these characters, so why do I care that they're knocking boots on page one? It means nothing to me, because they mean nothing to me.

And then – whoop – start of Chapter 1 confirms my theory of the formula remaining firmly in place. Ben rolls out of bed with a woman in it. Instant GFY and not a very captivating one. I hate to keep making comparisons to Someday, but this is a sequel so it's inevitable and you're just going to have to deal with it. In Someday, the GFY was believable because it was done gradually and the MC had a real emotional crisis over it, gradually noticing Danny and figuring out what it meant along the way. There was always the very clear assumption that he was bi from the beginning, therefore making the GFY much more believable. The chemistry was also much more believable and real, whereas there was no chemistry, that I could see, between Ben and Gavin.

From even before Ben meets with Gavin for the first real time (after only ever passing by and seeing him around the bank) he's practically drooling over him. The dimples, the jealousy over the ex, overreacting whenever he comes into the conversation...it's a little too much for me. It's not natural or logical that Ben is changing his entire nature (which we're told numerous times) just because he's met Gavin and he's apparently so hot that a straight guy can't walk past without feeling a sizzle of attraction.

Normally, I make notes as I'm reading, with highlights on my Kindle. But I was just too frustrated for that this time around. For me, Ben was a class A jerkwad. He got all pissed at his brother Will for a homophobic, presumptuous response to his high school best friend coming out to him, which was definitely a shitty thing to do, but isn't that unusual, sadly. Most teenage boys have the kind of ego that flashes to “does that mean he fancies me” and “was he watching me in the shower”. It's almost natural for the idiots to jump to the wrong conclusions, but it was years ago and his over-reactive response to the confession was shitty for a big brother.

Not to mention that he flew off the handle about Will assuming Gavin had been hitting on him, just because he was nice, now that he'd found out that Gavin was gay. Yet, that's exactly what Ben just did, as well. On their lunch meeting, after finding out Gavin was gay, he responded with an attempt to let him down gently, because he wasn't interested in men, when it was clear that he was talking about the business opportunity.

Frankly, I guess that whole scene at the lunch table was to emphasise that Ben was having lusty thoughts about Gavin because, ta-dah, he was suddenly gay and into men, so it's obviously the first place his mind should go. *rolls eyes* However, it just came across a little lame.

Also, this line really got under my skin:
“Like he'd told Gavin, he'd never been interested in men that way, but hearing another man talk about Gavin as “good in bed” had been...startling. It had drawn his attention to things that he wouldn't have otherwise noticed.”
That's just not true. Men joke with each other about bedroom prowess all the time. It doesn't suddenly make a straight guy think about that guy in bed or how good he'd be, even if that guy is gay. This is just another attempt to make us think that Ben is interested in Gavin. But, frankly, I don't want him to be interested in Gavin. He's a douche and already showing signs of homophobia by 15%. The constant insistence that he's flat-out, helplessly attracted to Gavin – after ONE meeting and just casually seeing each other around the bank – is a little ridiculous. And this line doesn't make it any better, because they don't know each other, so it doesn't work as a justification for Ben's “feelings” (which, in case you haven't noticed, I'm not buying):
“Anyone would be curious when presented with new information about someone they thought they knew.”

I didn't get Will's complete turn around, either. One minute he was a judgy prick about Gavin being gay, then he was pushing Ben to go out with him. Honestly, he was the most memorable of the side characters (other than Jeremy and Danny, who we already know) because of this. I didn't care about any of the others – Em or James or any of the other unimportant people in the story. Cash was about the only one with personality and, although I assume his story will be next or at least a separate standalone, I'm not interested enough to care. And – quite frankly – I didn't like the way James was treated like a villain, for reasons that were never explained to us. We were just expected to hate him on sight, just because he was snarky and pissed at Gavin working too much during their relationship. I don't see why that's a reason to hate him, so the hostility towards him just read as false.

There was no real “danger” or “difficulty” for the couple to fight through. It was just Ben and Gavin meet, Ben becomes miraculously gay after being straight his whole life, and the end. It was all a little cookie-cutter, too easy, not that interesting, for me.

I also found it really shocking and unbelievable that in only the second sex scene of the entire story, Ben bottomed. I mean, he's been straight his whole life. No dilemma, no second-thought, no questioning his decision or anything. They just jumped right in there, the minute Gavin's cast was off.

~

Overall, there were just way too many issues with this, story wise. I didn't believe the chemistry, the love story or the timeline that it all happened in. I didn't believe that they loved or even fancied each other. And I didn't really care if they got together or not, because the Prologue basically told me they did and Gavin was in love with Ben. I didn't really need to read much after that, to figure out how it was going to pan out.

Sadly, I have to assume that the same author who wrote Someday, under the Sierra Riley umbrella pen-name, didn't write Delicious. It's the only way I can account for the complete lack of synchronicity between the two stories that are supposed to be in the same universe. Gavin didn't feel like the same guy at all and, although it was nice to see Danny and Mace again, they were much more “add on” characters than Gavin ever was to their story.

I'm sorry to say that it just didn't work for me, for far too many reasons.

This is a sweet read. Ben is a natural care taker and when Gavin gets injured he takes care of him. And falls in love.

Gavin works too much and Ben didn't really understand he was attracted to men until Gavin.

They have a good deal of things to work out but there is great chemistry, care, and respect between these leads to it makes for a really good read.

I really liked the first book of the series and in this installment Gavin, the owner of "Delicious" a small bakery, will meet and fall in love with Ben, who's family owns the bank Gavin works
with. Only problem, Ben is straight and even if he likes Gavin as a friend he is not attracted to him. Our maybe he is after all?
As usually the gay for you concept is rather unconvincing to me.
Someone who never even thought about men suddenly drooling over a guy? I really don't think so. Even if the attraction developed slowly and was not completely impossible, it made the book less enjoyable for me. The rest of the setting and the friends and families reactions however were very believable and nicely described, which made up for it a little bit.
What was a problem is the lack of any problem, no big drama no interesting twists, the plot crawls towards the happy end that could easily have happened long before it actually does.
I am not a big fan of angst, but at least there should be that question - how will this work out in the end. Unfortunately there isn't and that made this book quite nice as well as quite boring.
Slightly above average 2,5 stars for me, not bad at all, but not as convincing as the first one.

A very cute and lighthearted read. I loved all the pinning. Gavin starts falling for his very 'straight' friend Ben. Ben wants nothing but more Gavin in his life. Waiting for his gay awakening was a sweet -dare I say- DELICIOUS tension. Story got pretty boring after that. Lots of small talk and I hate small talk.

This book takes place in the same universe as Someday, so if you haven't read it yet... you really really should. Someday MIGHT be a little more saccharine than Delicious, in that Danny (MC in Someday) is the epitome of the adorable sweet twink obsessed with Disney Princesses and True Love. You don't HAVE to read Someday to read this book, not at all, BUT I think you should read it.

I didn't realize until I started reading Delicious that it followed up Someday, and then I was also confusing it with Teodora Kostova's "Cookies" as they're both books I've recently read where the MC owns a bakery!! Also, since in my review for Someday I said "OMG can I read this again now?", I should have listened to myself and actually read it again before reading Delicious... I'd have confused myself a little less, AND it'd have been a damn good excuse to read Someday again becaaaaause it's adorable and now I still want to...

ANYWAY onto actually talking about Delicious!!!

A+ on the sexual tension! It's a big weakness of mine... I just LOOOOOOVE prolonged sexual tension. (So again, if you liked that in Someday, READ THIS!)
This story is sweet, and maybe a little frustrating at times, depending on your personality... I think I may have been less frustrated than others may be with Ben. The boy has no idea what he wants... and it could definitely be seen as unrealistic, and ridiculous to some people... BUT I think it was explained really well... he had several issues that kept him from realizing he liked Gavin... part of it was his family, and part of it was just that he's CLUELESS! I'm willing to believe it because this story is adorable. :)

An ARC of this book was received free in return for an honest review.

Delicious is a follow-up story to Someday, which was the story of cookie and cupcake decorator, Danny and Mace, a quiet hunk of a gardener.

Danny’s boss is bakery owner, Gavin Campbell. Honestly, I just about squealed when Ms. Riley announced this book (and that’s a rarity for me). Someday was one of my favorites of hers. Gavin needed to find his man, and does he ever. Unfortunately, his eye falls on his straight banker, Ben Edwards. After an accident that breaks Gavin’s foot, Ben takes him into his home and nurses him back to health. Oh, but there’s a two way street and a big stop sign in the middle. It takes time and a spectacular epiphany scene where Ben actually lets himself believe that it would be ok to be gay.

I love the subtle humor in this series. Comments by Gavin, Ben and Danny often had be laughing out loud. The ending was terrific and probably the best epilogue written to date, where we see Danny and Mace get their HEA.

Maybe my only disappointment, other than another unnecessary prologue, is the overuse of the word delicious. It’s cute, but a tad overdone by the end, making it worth less than if it had been used sparingly.

OMG! I didn't even realize until closer to the end that this is a sequel to "Someday," AKA my favorite book from this author! Mace and Danny! <3 <3 <3

But, this story is all about Ben and Galvin, and this might now be my second favorite book from this author. I just adored them together, their conversations and interactions, their friends and family being all nosy and wonderful together, and Ben's family. I even appreciated Ben's dad as the main conflict provider, because even though you thought he would be a major jerk, he was just uncomfortable, stuck in his ways, and concerned, and it felt real while still not over the top.

And BABE! <3 adorbs! This is a pet name that I totally don't mind reading, it just worked in the story.

This was a nice, sweet, easy romance, with little angst, no over the top melodrama, and a wonderfully, sickeningly sweet HEA. I totally want more in this world - what about Cash??

I received an ARC copy of this in exchange for an honest review.

I really really enjoyed this one. I fell in love with both characters. In the other book, Gavin seemed like too much of a tight ass for me….a little too wound up. But watching him loosen up and fall in love was a pleasure. And I ADORED Ben. I loved watching him struggle with having feelings for a man but not struggle in the way you think. He wasn’t embarrassed by it or thought it was wrong, or even let his family dictate how he should feel. His struggle was just that it was different from what he was used to…and I just found it refreshing to watch him go through that. Also loved how possessive he got, especially with the car scene with Jeremy’s cousin….just too cute. OHHH and then at the end of the book with the leather strap….just way way WAY too cute. Anyway…I would have given this 5 stars but I took one star away because it seemed a little anticlimactic. The angst was good with Ben & Gavin trying to come together…but honestly that was it.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this book. This is a very low angst, sloooowwwww burn romance. I liked both of the MCs very much. You have straight laced (and supposedly straight) Ben and nose the grindstone, baker Gavin. They meet through business dealings, but they end up spending quite a bit of time together after an unfortunate accident leaves Gavin in need of help.

Though this isn't billed as a series, you do meet Ben in Someday. One of the MC from that book does make an appearance here, but it isn't imperative for you to read the other book to understand anything in this one.

I truly enjoyed this, and I am looking forward to reading the next book.

Thanks, Jennifer, for bringing this book to my attention.

I have to admit that I am not a big fan of this writers' work. I just haven't found that mass producing books every few weeks does much for making stories I feel I have to have. That being said, the blurb on this one caught me and I had a couple of hours free so I took a shot.

I ended up really enjoying this. It wasn't an epic romance, nor did the beauty of the writing make me weak in the knees. It was fairly unbelievable and not based in any actual reality I can imagine, but it was fun, fast, and surprisingly satisfying for what it was even with a caricature of an ex thrown into the mix.

3.5 rounded up for not making women evil, cinnamon rolls, and a bunch of side characters that were fun.

The title is delicious and I have to say: to is the content. :3 I really LOVE Gavin and Ben together.
Ben is such an adorable guy, touching Gavin often as he can, combined with his sweet aura... *swoon*
Put this book on my Top5 of Sierra Riley books. :3

Delicious and Someday are my favourite Sierra Riley books....something about the world she has created feels so real and lovely.

The characters are the hero of the these book, I just ADORE them. The romance is delightful and the sex scenes progress from lovely sexual tension right into hotness.

These books are easy to read, completely enjoyable and worth a read.

4.5 Stars!!! I LOVE this book. It is pure, sweet romantic fun! This book is my guilty pleasure. It pushes ALL my buttons: Slow build, GFY, low angst, with two incredibly loveable MC's. Sometimes you just want a story that leaves you with a huge smile on your face and a happy heart...Delicious does that for me!

So in love with this series!

Book two in the series, a very different dynamic and yet just as compelling. The author does a great job building these characters as well as the new ones added to the universe. Plus we also get to revisit characters from book one.

The author also does a great job not making caricatures out of the two male members of Ben’s family who react uncomfortably to the idea of Gavin’s sexuality. So many books do the black and white thing...people are totally accepting or complete homophobes. The author threads the needle nicely here...initial reactions of shock, automatic negative physical reactions, worries about being hit on, worries about what people will think and eventually acceptance when they both realize they liked Gavin before they knew so what has changed? Plus the desire for Ben to be happy weighs in heavily. (Though I want to throat punch the busybody doctor!)

Very enjoyable book and looking forward to moving on to book three.
