So I really love this series, and it sucks that it's taken me so long to be able to get to the third one. I had so many questions from the first two books, and EC Jarvis does a wonderful job of answering many of those within this book, though she also left it off with a killer cliffhanger!
I was happy to see many of the characters that I thought perished in the previous book survived, each of them with their own personal demons to wrestle. I can't wait to read the final book in the series to see exactly how these issues are resolved!

More exciting as the series continues
I love, love, love this series! It was my first steam punk novel and I am hooked! Larissa has a fantastic character arc takes her from being rather mousy to being extraordinarily strong and clever. I love her strength and her vulnerability. I also really love that even though the relationship with Holt isn’t fully explored, there’s enough romance to prevent frustration. The plot line has carried wonderfully from beginning to the end of this third book and I can’t wait for the fourth!
