Since it had been so long since I read the first 2 books in this series it was challenging to follow at times.

Overall a solid and enjoyable book. Don’t exactly understand why it is listed under the occult subcategory on amazon, since the book mainly deals in a modified Christian universe. If you’ve read any of the other reviews or the book blurb then you know the book lives in a modern day universe where Cain has escaped from a form of Hell, secret societies abound, and fallen angels masquerade as humans. I love that kind of stuff.
Where Jeffreys excels is in his tactile world building and intricate plot developments. There is a lot of stuff going on here and much of it is unexpected! In another author’s book, there would have been enough material for ten or twelve books, not just three. But in Jeffreys writing, it doesn’t feel crammed or overloaded, just meaty. His plot developments feel real and make sense. His characters are varied and interesting. Overall, a solid, well deserved 4.5 stars, rounded to 5.

The much anticipate third book in the trilogy, Light into Exile, Cain Enable, did not disappoint. As with the first and second books there was plenty of action and plot twists. I especially enjoyed the play between the different characters. Where it was sometimes difficult to tell which side a particular character was on in the first two books, the alliances became much more pronounced in book three, as new aspects of the plot are divulged. The way the author tied in the spiritual and biblical sides of the story was ingenious. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book as I did the other two. I am anxiously awaiting the writers next endeavor.

First-rate writing done by an upcoming novel extraordinaire. The entire trilogy was well-thought out and executed nicely from the first book to the last. Cain Enable brings it all together in the denouement of the Light into Exile trilogy with strong character development, plot implementation, and reference to theological history. Not only was I thoroughly entertained with Jeffrey’s creativity and his use of biblical references, my reading of the books often led to neat conversations with my younger son who is an avid fan of the TV show, Supernatural.

Much anticipated third book of the series. Excellent! Couldn't put it down. Love the writing style and the sequence of how the story plays out with unexpected revelations and suspenseful progress of the story. Enjoyed the book immensely. A great read and third part. A thought provoking look at and comparison of creation, the fall of man and end times from a Christian perspective. Loved it!
