Arranged marriage? Check.

Cocky new husband? Check.

It's a marriage of convenience—one I’m determined to keep strictly professional. I can't be stupid enough to fall for this sexy playboy's charm or advances. I have to be strong, even if he is my husband.

Except he has a huge cock with an even bigger ego, and his main goal in life seems to be getting me to stroke both. The arrogant bastard is like sweet, sugary candy for my libido. I know he’s bad for me.

But I want to devour every wicked inch of him.

With his sexual prowess and experience, I know he’ll be explosive in the bedroom. And since we’re stuck together for the foreseeable future—keeping up this marriage charade long enough to turn the company profitable again—I deserve something to look forward to at the end of a long workday, right?

What could one little taste hurt?

Either tonight is just casual fun, where we're nothing more than fuck buddies, or... sex will change everything.

After finishing Volume One of Hitched, I had to get to the second installment to see what had happened. We got our answers, but now I feel like I need the third even more!

Hitched is the story of Noah and Olivia. Two people married to one another for all the wrong reasons. Or so it seems. You can tell in this story how much Noah cares for Olivia. Deep down, you know he’s always wanted her. Always loved her, even. This marriage isn’t all ‘arranged’ for the company. It’s more than that to him. And I love him for it.

I feel like Noah is the shining star of this series. He’s a character that isn’t only fun, but sweet and caring when it comes to Olivia. How he helped her with her problem, was there for her when she needed him, and supported her no matter what, was beautiful.
"You've got me in your corner now," Noah murmurs into my hair. "I won't let anything happen to you.”

Yeah, we realized at the end of this one that Noah isn't perfect. His lack of communication is something he might need to work on ;) These reads are fast-paced, sexy and fun. I can’t wait to see what comes next in Noah and Olivia’s story!

3 Stars. Alright ya'll so I really liked the first part and where it was heading. Noah and Olivia were building something pretty special but towards the end, something scares Olivia enough to do something drastic. The second part picks up where that left off and to be honest, I found the reason a little anticlimactic. However, it affords Noah a bit of an opportunity to show Olivia who he is and how much he cares. Finally, we get to see some real intimacy between these two and it's pretty darn sexy. I liked how they started to be together, though the length of the serial parts makes me worry that the last installment won't give them the time for much needed developmental growth as a couple. I am frustrated at Noah's lack of communication about the details of their agreement, especially after they move forward. The next cliffhanger also plants a seed regarding Noah's personality that goes against who I thought he was at the first installment. That aspect of the story was quite disappointing. All in all, a decent read. I am still curious to see how it all unfolds. Safety: No OW/OM/Sharing. Neither are Vs. They use condoms (NOTE: There's something to this that I can't mention without spoiling, but that Safety Gangers would likely find caution worthy). No rape/abuse.

*****FOUR STARS*****
{ARC Generously Provided by Author}

I’m not sure how or when it happened, but she’s become mine. She’s the first thing I think about when I wake, and the last on my mind before I drift off to sleep. And before I can contemplate the ramifications, I know that I’m going to do what needs to be done to protect my future with her.

 photo 53b13f31e0a82daa8733d75beba21e04_zpslfk4t02f.jpg

Last we left off, Olivia had deserted Noah at the altar. He assumed it was due to the pregnancy clause in their inheritance contract, but we learn the real reason when Olivia shows up at their penthouse a few days later. She’s in a terrible bind and after having failed to fix the situation herself, she turns to Noah for help. He ends up being her savior and then the two make plans to wed soon after.

 photo e8ddcaf5af88de9008271da3366b4f02_zpsc4h1ceug.jpg

Noah then learns that Olivia had signed the contract without having read the fine print. She is unaware of the pregnancy clause and that they have less than 90 days to make a baby. Noah struggles with whether or not to fill Olivia in on the clause or not. He’s starting to get invested in their relationship and can see a future with her but thinks that Olivia isn’t on the same wavelength as him. Having a baby with Olivia might actually be something he’s looking forward to.

As things start to heat up between them, Noah’s guilt starts to eat him up inside. He knows he has to tell her about the baby stipulation but the timing always seems to be off. This time, the cliffy we are faced with is a pretty big one!!! I don’t know how Ms. Ryan is going to make things right for our Hero and Heroine, but I am hopeful that there will ultimately be an HEA on the road ahead of them!!!

This ending... kill me now. Not so patiently waiting for the last part of this series.

To be honest not much going on in this book, but it is a serial romance and these parts are not very long. It focuses mainly on their relationship and resolve problems in the company. This is not your romantic love affair, which warms your heart. But they are moving in this direction and are getting closer and closer to each other. And I can not wait for this.

What in the second part is amazing is how hot and steamy scenes are in bed. Yes, they finally doing this! And let me tell you, girls! BURN! They burn, and I burn with them. Noel's dirty mouth is something else. He's finally doing what he said and it is worth your attention. By far the best moments.

The end of this part of the story could be expected but once this happens, you want flip another page. Luckily we don't have to wait long for part 3. I can't wait for the final part and how things will work out for them. Hopefully very well.

At the end of Volume one, just moments before Noah and Olivia were to tie the knot, Olivia performs a magic act and disappears out of thin air. No metaphorical wedding bells then for our love birds.

Noah is devastated and pissed off that no one would tell him where his fiancée is. He actually thought their relationship was going somewhere and they were getting closer than ever, so he feels hurt—and lets be honest, a little humiliated—that she disappeared on him like that.

He thought Olivia left because she saw the additional stipulation in the inheritance contract, but when she returns to their penthouse a few days later, he's a little relieved that it wasn't the reason. Turns out Olivia's in a bind, and only left for a while to try and solve her problem on her own. When she realized she needed help, she went to Noah and told him the truth.

It was a little anti-climactic, but the two managed to fix the problem quite easily. Soon, they're back to their smooth-sailing path to a more intimate relationship...until Noah finds out Olivia signed the inheritance contract without actually reading everything. Meaning? She has no idea about the other stipulation.

Seriously, guys, no one should do what Olivia did. No matter who wrote it or drafted it, read your contracts before you sign it. Every single word, letter, and punctuation mark. Because once you've signed that, it's done. No turning back.

The guilt of not telling Olivia about the stipulation is eating up Noah, and it even put a damper on their first supposed sexy time. He's been telling himself that he'll tell Olivia, but he never finds the right time.

As we all know, secrets have their way of creeping out and biting you in the ass.

Obviously, we're seeing more into who Noah and Olivia really are, and we're also seeing a growth in their relationship in the work area and at home. They've proven how compatible they are in bed and how compatible they are as co-CEOs, but there's still a few things getting in the way.

There's a lack of communication on both sides, and it's just frustrating! Olivia tends to run away when she sees any sign of trouble, and Noah keeps making excuses as to why he just won't tell Olivia the truth. I'm pissed off at the additional stipulation in the will. As if an arranged marriage wasn't enough.

I know the fathers meant well with their clauses, but it's so restraining and ugh I don't know. I can already imagine Olivia's reaction when she finds out. She is going to flip.

I'm still rooting for a happily ever after between these two because damn it their chemistry is off the charts! And Noah is so sweet and hot and ugh. I have no more words.

5 I love Noah Stars

I love this series so much! Hitched 2 is witty, comical and I devoured this book like it was my last meal. Imperfect Love is the new “it” series to read for this summer. It had everything I looked for in a light romantic read with main characters with crazy chemistry, great tension and writing that flowed.

Hitched: Volume Two begins where Hitched: Volume One left off. Olivia left Noah at the alter and wasn’t that a delicious cliffhanger? We soon learn why she did and it’s one of the reasons why I love Kendall Ryan books. There are no fillers in her reads, we get to the heart of the story quickly and from there it’s a wild, but fun ride.

Noah is now on a mission to get Oliva to marry him and impregnate her. He has ninety days to do it and he’s stressed beyond belief. I love Noah. I love love Noah. He’s so sweet, caring and considerate. I love his inner struggles in this book. He wants to do what’s right, but he also knows it’s not going to be easy.

Olivia is typical Olivia, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. She’s strong, stubborn and very smart. She’s all about business and she’s slowly learning to let Noah in, which I really liked reading.

“… now I’ve learned that Noah is here for me – for real, for always, no matter what.”

“He’s been a constant in my life ever since we were toddlers. Playful, sometimes irritating, always magnetic, never far out of reach.”

“…there’s something so addictive about this woman. The way she carries herself, her wit and intelligence, her insatiable appetite for me. It just feels right.”

I love the tension between the two main characters and my favorite part of the relationship is the banter they have with each other. I enjoy the slow build up, it’s a nice tease. The writing is excellent and I laughed so many times. I always have a smile on my face when I read anything by Kendall Ryan.

Hitched: Volume Two is an instant win for me.

Arranged Marriage!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎧🎧🎧🎧
Romance: 🖤💜🤎💚💛
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📙📕📗📘
World building: 🌎🌏🌍🌍🌏
Character development: 😍😕🙃☺️

The heroine: Olivia Cane - her former boyfriend put a wrench in the plans to marry Noah. She need Noahs help to resolve the issue.

The Hero(es): Noah Tate - he is starting to have real feelings for Olivia and wants to make things real between them.

The story: Noah and Olivia finally get married but Noah soon finds out that Olivia never read the Inheritance contract before signing it. She doesn’t know about the clause that says Noah has to get her pregnant within 90 days to inherit the company.

Noah worries about how to tell Olivia about the pregnancy clause and doesn’t want to consummate the marriage until Olivia knows. Meanwhile they are trying to increase profits at Cane & Tate.

This was a short second part to the trilogy and was told in dual POV but there was only a male narrator. The same one that was used in the first book. I don’t know why the female narrator from the first book didn’t continue in this book, but I liked it better with two narrators.

Hilarious read.

Just... hilarious.

description

By that I mean it's hilarious how idiotically dramatic this whole story is. I mean, Noah... come on babe, you're a goodie, cut the shit already. Olivia... Jesus Christ, this woman is the mix of all the things I dislike but I'm lowkey her. Like, I hate that I get her. But the drama in this book is just over-the-top and done only for the cliffhanger purposes. Let's leave unnecessary cliffhangers where they belong... in 2014 paranormal romances.

* * * * ~~~ No Spoilers ~~~
This is a series with wit, strength and the ability to make you go AWE....every time you hear Noah call Olivia his special term of endearment.... Snowflake. This is not a series you can start in the middle... You must read Hitched: Volume One (https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...) first in order to embark on this installment. But oh, the pleasure and delight in reading this series makes it all worthwhile.

This series is all about Noah coming into his own.... beginning to recognize what truly is important and Olivia is front and center in his realization. With the cliffy from the last book, we are there wanting to know all the answers to all the questions he has ...and we do not have to wait long too hear them.

Olivia is finding herself, too...She is a woman in the corporate world holding her own. She is intelligent, caring and is trying to open up to all Noah is offering her.

These two pull together and handle what needs to be done cutting down obstacles swiftly. The experience creates a tighter bond between them. Things are looking very good....

Until Noah discovers Olivia maybe in the dark about a few things concerning their contract....

This read flew by...it was extremely fun, terrifically sexy in All the right ways and still held our hearts in the balance. It takes serious crafting to put together something this engaging...keeping it fresh even when we all know the way everything is structured. Both main characters are likeable, great together and when they cut loose...just yummy. Noah steals your heart...you want a Noah for yourself...yet Noah also doesn't do what he should.... causing us to have a massive Cliffy Again!!!

It is delicious... we knew it was coming and like that train-wreck in ole time movies...you can't look away and want to know what will happen next...

This is the second book in the series and you must read Hitched: Volume One first. If you haven’t read Hitched: Volume One you may want to stop reading as this review will contain spoilers for the first installment.

Hitched: Volume Two picks up where Hitched:Volume One ended. Noah has been left at alter and is now navigating things alone. He is left to explain where his bride is and try to maintain their image. Let me just tell you, this didn’t make me happy. I am seriously already in love with Noah and I didn’t love him being stood up.

I didn't anticipate loving Noah so quickly, but I love that he had these hidden feelings for Olivia and now is trying so hard to create something real with her. He is completely dedicated to being a good husband, changed from his manwhore ways and I am swooning!

As much as I was frustrated with Olivia this installment did allow me to understand her more. Olivia has been treated horribly in the past and she dreams for something real, an epic love. Letting go of that dream to fulfill another dream, her career goals is hard and obviously so, it’s a huge sacrifice! Furthermore, we get to see what really happened and how these two will ultimately work or not work being married.

After reading the second installment my original opinion holds true, I am going to love these, I am already hooked. I love the concept and I love how Noah and Olivia are coming together. What I will really love is if all the contract stipulations are met, I seriously can’t wait! Like the first installment this one moves super fast and left me ready for more. Kendall is gradually killing us one cliffhanger at a time, but the next installment is coming soon and I can’t wait!

Arranged Marriage? Check. Cocky new husband? Check. Falling head over heels in love with Kendall Ryan’s hero? Big Fat Check. Yes, Kendall Ryan has her readers racing down to the altar as she continues to set hearts ablaze and panties melting with her cocky and yet lovable hero, Noah Tate.

 photo 004cc8da29408118f8853656b6ad21_zpsq7b61hqc.gif “I just nod slowly at him, admiring him anew, like he’s not just Noah anymore but some strange, exotic species I’ve never encountered before. And shit, maybe I haven’t. Just the man’s tongue sent me into a spiraling orgasm so strong I saw stars.”

I, Michelle Tan of Four Chicks Flipping Pages solemnly swear that Noah Tate will have you begging for more. Yes, you will beg for more of his cocky personality and of course his big cock. What reader wouldn’t want to read about that? LOL. And the most important reason you will beg for more is that in this installment, Noah Tate will steal your hearts without you even realizing it. With his smooth and debonair personality, Noah will make you see that behind that gorgeous smile is a good man with a beautiful big heart. And his heart is waiting for the right woman to fill it up. So who knew that the feisty and independent Olivia was the right woman for the job? Well Noah Tate knew it all along deep down inside, and it took spending more time with her for these old feelings to resurface. On paper they are married, but to Noah Tate this marriage is so much more than that. More than an arrangement.

#HitcheVol2

 photo 004cc8da29408118f8853656b6ad21_zpsq7b61hqc.gif “Noah is changing my routine. Hell, he’s changing me. The old Olivia never would have let her hair down like I did last weekend. And we’re so much more in sync at the office. Not too long ago, we struggled to mesh our management styles, but now we effortlessly work together to solve problems with the easy grace of a rehearsed dance. We’ve grown across the gap to meet each other halfway.”

Hitched: Vol 2 was fast paced, sexy, and of course highly entertaining. Ryan wrote a male hero that was the shining light in this series. Noah Tate was written in such a sexy and beautiful manner that you can’t help but swoon over him and his fierce love for Olivia. So if you are looking for a deliciously steamy hot read then look no further than Hitched. Kendall will wow you with her smart, fun, sassy and sexy prose!!

 photo 004cc8da29408118f8853656b6ad21_zpsq7b61hqc.gif “I’m not sure how or when it happened, but she’s become mine. And before I can contemplate the ramifications, I know that I’m going to do what needs to be done to protect my future with her.”

All there is left to say, I can't wait for the third installment. Just remember to Save the Date, August 2, 2016.

It has been a while since I listened to Volume One.. so I was surprised I never finished with this series.

Hitched: Volume Two: beings where the first book left off. To say that I was okay with this is putting it mildly. In it, you will meet Noah and Olivia again. If I'm being honest, I just didn't care about them this time around. I had zero interest in their love life because of what happened in the first book. Yeah, I had questions as to how that one ended.. but this time I'm just kind of annoyed with the cliffhanger.

Besides being annoyed, I just didn't understand this one. I'm honestly confused as to why this book is split into three to begin with. Then there's the whole pregnancy issue here - it just annoyed me. I reall wish that this book didn't exist because it makes no sense. Not a lot happened here and it just made me hate the parents of these two even more.

Ugh, I guess I have to torture myself with the third book just to see how this shit storm is going to end.

After the mutha of a cliffy in Volume One of Hitched, I couldn't wait to get my grabby little hands on this installment. Olivia and Noah have quite the challenges to face when their fathers put a nuptial clause in their Wills... They must marry and conceive a child within 90 days of said marriage in order for them to receive their dual-family owned corporation. Time is of essence as the company is failing fast and their marriage, or their bond both personally and professionally, could give the company the foundation it needs for investors to stick around. But there's one problem...Noah has a reputation as a man-whore and Olivia is disgusted by him. Noah not only has to gain her respect, but they have to manage to LIVE together? In marriage? And have children? It would seem impossible except Noah would love nothing more than a life sentence of sex with Olivia...

I'm not going to spoil the happenings of Hitched Volume One but know the cliffy made this book that much more anticipated. Both Olivia and Noah have huge hurdles to overcome in order to make their obligations in the Will stand. Noah is all for it but Olivia is a hard nut to crack. He's secretly had his eye on her for years. She may just be the end of his bachelorhood days...

Hitched Volume Two picks up right where we left off in the first installment. I'm loving the gradual thawing of Olivia and her realization that maybe Noah isn't just one big womanizer. He's got the gift to swoon the women and it works well in the acquisition of new customers but she's soon finding its not all a ruse. Maybe she was wrong and there's more to him?

"The arrogant bastard is like sweet, sugary candy for my libido. I know he's bad for me. But I want to devour every wicked inch of him."

Yes, there's more to Noah! He steals the show in this installment though the cliffy here made me want to junk punch him! A little communication goes a long way and that appears to be his biggest handicap. But HOMG I'm not sure how the heck Olivia can resist his prowess! He's cock-y in all the right ways!

Eek! I waited SO LONG (exaggeration, yes) for this second instalment in Olivia and Noah’s story, and damn it, I STILL WANT MORE.

I mean, another ending that left me on a cliff, aching for answers, wishing for more words, hoping for a happily ever after that’ll make me smile even wider? Kendall Ryan, how could you?! *shakes fist*

But in all seriousness, I really, really enjoyed this second instalment in the Imperfect Love series. It was—once again, I might add—fun and flirty, full of heart and humor. And feels. But it was something extra this time.

It was sexy AF. *Fans self* I can say with authority (and a cheeky grin at my husband) that this book is a total turn-on. Noah and Olivia, once they get past that little bump that left me on the edge of my seat at the end of Volume One, have some serious chemistry. And while it’s not all smooth sailing, when they get there…hoo boy, do they get there!

I cannot wait to see where Ms. Ryan takes this couple in the third and final book. I found myself a little frustrated at times with Noah’s decision-making, and with the clauses in the contract which force these people down a path they may not necessarily have chosen otherwise. And so, I want—no, I need—answers to ease my mind. But mostly, I just want more of Noah and Olivia. More of that dirty-talking alpha male and his ball-busting-but-blushing bride. I want my heart to keep swooning and fluttering and flying—something that it’s been doing since I started the first book.

Basically, I just want MORE. And I want it now. ~ Beth, 4.5 stars

~~~
Yes!! More Olivia and Noah! I think I might have enjoyed this volume even more than the first.
“He always defends me…even against myself.”
We pick up right where we left off, and I am so happy that Olivia showed back up in Noah’s penthouse. But what happens between the two now that she is back?
“I need to seduce my wife. I need to show her how good we can be together.”
This second volume was much sexier and steamier.
“Is there a polite way to say, Ride my face until you come all over my tongue?”
I loved watching Olivia come out her shell and be about more than just work. But that ending! Holy crap?!? I really didn’t see that coming. I cannot wait for the third volume!!!
I am fully invested in Noah and Olivia’s story and am hopeful that at least something will go right for them! ~ Tiffany, 4.5 stars
4 Hot for Noah stars.
The second installment in Kendall's new series picks up pretty much exactly where it left off in Volume 1. Our couple is growing closer but Olivia doesn't realize that Noah is keeping secrets -both professional and personal- from her, and you just now it's going to explode in his face at some point.
Noah continues to be the star of this show for me. His concern and support for Olivia are so heartwarming even if some of it is misguided. Olivia is learning to let go of her inner control freak and she is growing as the depth of the feelings she has for Noah develop. However, the shocking cliffhanger at the end is going to set them back. There is no way Noah is going to be able to convince her that his actions were genuine and not because of the contract. Even though it was obvious where this was leading, it was still a tremendous place to end. Great job Ms. Ryan.
We have more sexy times in this installment and I love the chemistry between our couple. I am totally rooting for them. Big style.
The banter was witty, with plenty of sparks flying, except for a cringy scene where Noah is referencing intimate bodily parts using crude juvenile speak that was completely unnatural for a grown man to use.
The last installment left us at a great point in the story but I was a little dismayed that it was dismissed so quickly and easily in this volume. This could have been fleshed out to add greater tension and conflict. As it currently stands it was a blatant plot device to add maximum shock-factor without any real depth.
This book focuses mainly on the burgeoning relationship between Olivia and Noah and less on the corporate situation.
I'm finding it more and more difficult to suspend my disbelief as this series progresses. The overriding premise of this story just isn't believable. I worked in corporate management for almost twenty years and you cannot convince me that any board would be swayed by co-CEO's getting married and having a baby. I really can't fathom how them having a baby has anything to do with stabilizing the ship or that the board would be less inclined to look for potential buyers if they announce a pregnancy. Strong performance and strong financials is the only measure that would count, in my opinion.
I worked in an alpha-male corporate environment where it was frowned upon when female employees became pregnant, and all kinds of sexist remarks would be bandied about. (It was totally disgusting and there was little I could do to change that aspect of the corporate culture.) Basically, female employees, no matter how strong a performer they were, were pretty much written off after pregnancy. Now, perhaps this fictional world is intended to be different, but I don't think so given how some of the male employees have been portrayed thus far. So, to me, announcing Olivia's pregnancy will send a death knell, not have the opposite effect. Unless it turns out that the fathers, in all their scheming, actually care more for their children than the company and that's really what's going on. I could buy that more readily even though that wouldn't really make much sense either. But it's the easier pill to swallow.
The other issue that niggles at me is blatant lapses in editing in relation to aspects of the timeline and some of the scenes. I spotted three glaring errors in the first couple of chapters alone. Not enough to dent my enjoyment but enough to frustrate me a little.
Reading back over this review it might come across like I didn't enjoy the book which isn't' the case at all. It was still an engrossing read. The last one was a 5-star read but this one is rated lower because of the aforementioned issues. However, that doesn't detract from the fact that it's hugely entertaining and I am enjoying the characters and very invested in reading the conclusion to their story.
Thanks to Inkslinger PR and the author for providing a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. This review will appear on my blog on July 21st. http://myyanabookobsession.com
Hitched: Volume Two is the second installment in Kendall Ryan's adult contemporary romance collection titled Imperfect Love. This volume is a direct continuation from Hitched: Volume One, as it should be since one full-length novel has basically been split into 3 parts and sold separately. I personally find it insulting when author's and/or their publishing houses choose to do this...string along my pocketbook, but fortunately all three parts are at my library so whatever.
This second volume does have a few reminders from the first volume which is helpful if you're not reading them back-t0-back, although if you are reading all three volumes together I don't think it would be too annoying. Hitched: Volume Two develops the characters' relationship a bit more as they finally consummate their arranged marriage, however, I found the hero's lack of communication about an incredibly important aspect of their marriage contract to be eyeroll worthy. Regardless, the two of them seemed to make a good team and have surprising chemistry despite the communication issues. The role-reversal of gender stereotypes within these main characters is a unique and interesting element in this collection in my opinion. The hero is all about settling down, cuddling, and playing house while the heroine is making the most of the Big O while the opportunity presents itself. The rainbows and sprinkles certainly don't last though as another major misunderstanding aka really poor judgement ends this volume on another climactic cliffhanger. Typical serial.
Kendall Ryan's Imperfect Love serial/collection includes the following installments as of January 2017.
Hitched: Volume One
Hitched: Volume Two
Hitched: Volume Three
STOP!! If you have not read Hitched: Volume 1 yet, you NEED to go read it before continuing on with this review!! This review WILL contain spoilers from Volume 1.
So, Volume 2 starts off where Volume 1 ended. Noah was left at the alter by his wife and doesn't know why. He still hasn't been able to and Olivia for several days and her father won't tell him where she is.
And when Olivia finally does show back up needing Noah's help, he drops everything to help in exchange for answers. Where has she been? Why didn't she talk to him first?! And most importantly, WHY would she run from him? After all, they were in this together. Their marriage was based on saving their father's company. So, there was a little "baby" clause in the contract....
A little clause that Olivia seemed to have no clue about...
So how does Noah tell his (reluctant) new wife that they have to make a baby within a few months when he can't even get her to agree to get naked with him...
I loved the continuation of Noah and Olivia's story. I can't WAIT until until Hitched: Volume 3 and the conclusion of their love story. Hurry up August 2!!
Continue reading before for an excerpt of Hitched: Volume 2
RATING: 4.5 out of 5
After that cliffhanger of the previous book, I immediately started this book. I liked it just as much as the previous book. I’ll read the third and last part as soon as possible after that cliffhanger. I can’t wait to read how Noah and Olivia’s love story ends. Noah is still the star of the series, but Olivia is really starting to grow on me.
Olivia starts to trust Noah. She really starts to like him a lot and develops feelings for him. Olivia still works very hard and wants the company to make profits again. That’s her goal.
Noah is still determined to make the marriage work and to show Olivia that they could be an amazing real couple. He fights for her. He’s always there for her. He loves how smart she is and how dedicated she is to the company.
Noah and Olivia grow closer in this second part of the trilogy. But Noah has only one little problem. He has been keeping something from Olivia that could change things between them forever and ruin everything he has been working on with Olivia.
Hitched : Volume Two sigue la misma linea que la primera parte, al parecer ahora esta muy de moda dividir un libro en tres partes cortas, algo que en algunas ocasiones me parece innecesario, este libro en concreto me hubiera gustado poder leerlo todo junto y no tener que esperar meses entre las partes, sobre todo cuando la autora los termina en el momento mas interesante.
Esta novela es corta, agil de leer y entretenida, no sera la mas profunda o con la trama mas realista pero para pasar unas horas distraida esta muy bien.
Espero poder leer la ultima parte pronto, el capitulo final me dejo ansiosa por saber mas.
Book two picks up just where we left off – Noah and Olivia stumbled a bit to the alter, but there is still the other clause of the contract that Noah just can’t bring himself to mention. And although we get the heat turned up in book two, as Olivia finally gives in to her attraction to Noah, I just really, really, (REALLY) need book three!
There is no doubt that Noah is stealing the show in this serial – I love that he is so much more than a man-whore in a suit. And although Olivia is liked, I just can’t get over how perfect Noah is. I love it when the guy is cocky but genuine. I love that although this pairing was a surprise, Noah’s carried a bit of a torch for years for her, and I love that he isn’t running from his feelings.
Now I just need book three to get here. Right now.
Part 2 of 3 cliffhanger.
I really enjoyed part one and this one picks up just two days later, we discover why Olivia ran and we're there with Noah and Olivia as they continue to try and save the company and develop their relationship.
If I'm being totally honest I didn't like this book as much Olivia is starting to annoy me, I understand her doubts after all he was a huge player but seriously give the guy a break and yourself as well. Even Noah who I adore was wearing a bit thin at times, I mean there's only so many times I get shout "just tell her" before I give up.
Anyway despite not liking this as much I'm still waiting for the third and final section
Holy smokes Seduction!
Am i left panting? Yes.
Am i left swooning? Yes.
Am i seduced? Yes.
Am i left satisfied? A big NO.
Hitched : Volume 2 starts a couple of days after the events of the book 1 and it has left me wishing for more. Seriously cliffies suck but i like them anyway.
It was filled with funny, sexy laugh out loud moments and it was a hoot. Even though i didn't find the reason much climatic & wanted nothing more than to shake some sense in Olivia; I did love the situation Noah and Olivia were in.
The way planned on seducing Olivia...... I can't even.....*whew*
It was just that good.
3 stars
Continuing 2 days after the cliffhanger drama in book 1#, I felt that the reasons for said cliffhanger were eye-rollingly anticlimactic. And the way it was resolved was just waaay too convenient and easily tied together like all those super handy, yet unbelievably flimsy solutions you get in the end of every lower budget 80's TV investigations series.
Still, an entertaining read with another cliffy leading into book #3. At least this cliffy drama seems more credible. And at least I'm getting a little more swoons from the H than I did in the first book. And most importantly; at least Jewels gets her sexy nookie in this one.
Onwards to the last book!
Esta segunda entrega empieza con un WTF muy tonto protagonizado por Olivia y acaba con otro WTF pero por culpa de Noah (que en algunos momentos me recuerda al protagonista de Tangled), y entre medias vemos cómo se desarrolla su relación. Sigue siendo una lectura ágil y entretenida, pero para mí sobran algunas reflexiones de la pareja protagonista por reiterativas, pero claro, hay que alargar el tema para que dé para varias entregas (cosa que sigo diciendo que nunca entenderé).
I didn't enjoy it as much as book 1, but I'm looking forward to how things work out for Noah and Olivia.
