Clinical Research Certification Notes: Revised Edition

Professional certifications in clinical research generally focus on the same regulations, independent of the certifying organization. As such, most of these certifying authorities will issue or sell to the student a thickly bound book containing all of the codes required for the exam. For the most part, these are unabbreviated dry pieces of text, and the intention is that the person sitting for the exam will summarize them and create notes from which to study. This book has done that work already.

This book is a straight re-stating of the regulations for clinical trials in an abbreviated format. Occasionally there are clarifying comments or words added to make the notes clearer. The intent is to reduce the time required for note taking from the full regulations by giving pre-made basic notes from which the student can begin.

This book is not specific to any particular certifying organization for clinical research. It is not intended to cover any extra information required by those certifications. Regarding the regulations covered by this work, the notes are not intended as a commentary. Understanding the reasoning and nature of the regulations is left to the student.
