LONGING is Book 2 of this Dangerously Arousing BDSM Erotic Romance Series.

The DOM of all DOMs!

Enzio’s longing for Lana is an endless, aching need. She is his drug. But Lana wants Enzio as her loving Master, and Dom 241 as the masked brute of a man who takes her roughly and shows her no mercy as he exhausts her sexually. She craves the beast with the bullwhip, and willingly accepts complimentary tickets to The Looking Glass.

As the night’s captive at a party at The Looking Glass, Lana is blindfolded by Dom 241 and escorted to the center of a bed, where he ties her arms and legs to the four posts with a nylon rope. “I think you deserve a reward,” he says as he unbuttons his pants and moves between her legs. The muscular Dom with the sculpted body looms over her, ready to reward her as only he can.

While Lana struggles between two Doms, Enzio confronts old demons, and enemies begin to surface. A dangerous, obsessed client stalks him, and a competitor’s club threatens his multi-million dollar business.

Excerpt:
Lana stared at his tight abs and chest before moving up to his masked face. She gazed into his strong eyes and he reached into his back pocket and pulled out a collar. “As of this moment, I am your Master,” he spoke sternly into her ear, “You will obey all of my orders and refer to me as Dom. Do you understand?”

There was a slight hesitation before she nodded. He pulled the leash and Lana stumbled toward him. “Welcome to the Gala experience,” he growled. “Why are you here, Darling?” he asked.

Lana didn’t know what to say as she watched him walk toward the door in the private room and click the lock. He turned to look at her and she felt a chill through her veins. “I won’t ask you again,” he growled. She tried to say something, but nothing came out. She felt his hands on her waist and he ran his fingers over her butt. Lana was shaking, and he pulled her hair. “I asked you a question, Darling,” his voice boomed.

“I…I was curious,” she stuttered.

“About what?”

“I was curious about you, Master.”

“I am not you Master!” he yelled. “You are already claimed. Call me Dom.”

She hesitated briefly. “Yes, Dom.”

“Does your Master satisfy you?”

“Yes, Dom.”

“Is your Master a good Master?”

“Oh yes, Dom, he’s wonderful.” Her words caused him to smile.

“Then I will ask you one last time, Darling, why are you here?”

She didn’t answer.

“What is it that you want from me that your Master cannot give to you, Lana?”

Still she didn’t answer.

“You have no safe word today,” he softly said, placing a blindfold over her eyes.

Review:
“He gently maneuvered her body to the right side of the bed, placed her head on the pillow and gently kissed her forehead before covering her up. He lay down beside her and stared at her.”

5 longing stars!! This book is dirty hot!!

This book is all kinds of twisted, dirty and sinfully sexy!!! Enzio is one sexy, sexy, sexy dom, but he’s a dom that has a heart and is desperately in love with Lana. Lana has no clue that the dom who takes over her body is Enzio and OMG it makes me crazy. I want to yell at her… it’s him!!! I wasn’t sure what to expect from this series, but let me tell you it’s so much more than I could have ever imagined!!! If you like your books hot and spicy, then grab this series!!

This book, the second of the trilogy was not what I was expecting at all. Enzio really let me down in this book. How can a guy who are so much in love with someone be sleeping with so many other people. I get that some of the are when he is Dom 241, but there are more sex scenes with him outside the Looking Glas than I can count on one hand. Is that just sex to him?? I felt like I lost my connection to Enzio when I read about him when he's not with Lana. It's like he's another person, and I know that he is acting like two different persons when he is just Enzio and Dom 241.

But Enzio is not what I expected and this was enough for me to give one star less than the first book. I do now that it's not fair, but seriously, decide what you want!!!

As I mentioned in my review of the first book there are many characters we are introduced to and to their story. And in this book, we are introduced to new characters which again makes the book way longer that it could have been. The writing actually remind me of myself when I'm retelling stories to my husband. He often have to pause me in the middle of my telling, and ask me to just get to the point, and not inform him of all the unnecessary things or side stories for him to get to the point. I do get that if writing a book where you just go to the point from the beginning there would not be much tension and excitement in the book. But some of the stories of the characters could have been shortened or left out.

The blurb only mention Lana and Enzio, but I think that when I have read all three books and if I put together all the pages about those two together, they will only fill out 3/4 of one of the books - it sure feels that way. I get that I have to endure reading about all the others as their story is connected to Enzio and Lana, but there are so many pages in between that I find it hard to wait. It's not that the other characters are boring, actually their stories are well written.

The 3 stars is given only as I just want to read about Lana and Enzio and that Enzios character really let me down as he was not what I was expecting. But the whole story is good and is definitely worth reading. There are a lot of hot sex scenes. Both regular, bdsm, ff, menage and so many other. When I read books with sex scenes I'm bored if the sex is the same over and over again, then the sex scenes becomes unnecessary and I begin to skip them. But in this book, no sex scene is the same and their all really hot, so this part will not let you down if you want to read different hot sex scenes.

What to say about this one? This is book two in Masked Emotions and the story of Enzio and Lana continues. There's a lot of characters in this one- as there was in book one. A lot of stories going on, but this wasn't confusing for me. V.E. Campudoni does a great job weaving all the characters together and letting the reader see the story from their eyes. The chemistry between Enzio and Lana was much more intense in this one and that is why I gave it 5-stars instead of the 4-stars I gave book one. Still- they are not being honest with each other which drives me a little crazy- and Enzio is still hooking up with other people! I want to scream at them both to just tell each other how you feel- enough already! I'm sexually frustrated for them! LOL. Lots of sex in this book- male/male, female/female, and menage action. This is a true bdsm, dom/sub series. Not to sound crude- although I know this will- I felt that if Enzio and Lana didn't hurry up and f*** I was going to explode! This just kept building and building from book one to book two and I will not say if they did or didn't, but this book ends in a cliffhanger. (I was aware of it though). I'm anxious for book three! I'm getting completely sucked in by this series and this world of The Looking Glass!!!

Wonderful character development, intriguing storyline, steamy hot sex and a powerful and stunning sequel. These are the words that greatly describes the second book of the Masked Emotions Series, Longing. After reading the first book, I began reading this one with eager anticipation and a healthy dose of curiosity and once again the author grabbed me, sucked me in, pulled me a along an emotional rollercoaster ride, and left me in tears. Longing began exactly where Linger left off. Something completely new when it comes to sequels where the common formula is a flash forward. Now if you are hoping to walk away with that blissful, romantic feeling then this series, so far, may not be for you. Enzio and Lana struggle. Their relationship is plagued by their individual insecurities, communication breakdowns, and demons from their pasts. However, the rawness of the emotions between them as well as the side characters are striking.
Longing, like Linger is a book that stands out in it's genre. I am now convinced that part of the reason this book is notable is because of the realism of the story from an emotional aspect. The issues the characters face feel real, the emotions they are dealt with and turn to feel real. The characters actions are understandable, in their own way, plus the sexual scenes just heats up the pages. There is no question that this book is a smoking hot read with powerful, emotional, domination sex. However, V. E. Campudoni makes it clear that there's much more to this mesmerizing story than sex. Enzio, Lana, and the other characters have to deal with the ugliness that plagued their lives, but at the same time, the world the author created is captivating and just plays in your head like a movie. Or in my case, a television series.
When it comes to side characters, it's hard to pinpoint which one is my favorite. Mistress Joslin is absolutely stunning and a strong, powerful woman who knows who and what she wants, but at the same time becomes timid for only the two people she loves. Nadia, Enzio's sister is another character that has to be strong for the sake of herself and brother, but deep down inside, she is barely keeping herself together. Then you have the twins, Juno and Miko and their adopted father Akira and Samuel and Tetsuo. You become so invested in the book as a whole that you want to know what is happening to everyone as well as the main story and once again the way the author brings everything together, not only makes sense, but it shows just how well he is a master storyteller.
Where Linger sets up all of the characters and storylines, Longing sets up the groundwork for something bigger. Especially with the introductions of Lana's ex-boyfriend Jayce and Nadia's new love interest Raul, who obviously has ties with the Irish Mafia. This is a story that had gotten me addicted and the writing style once again is utterly fantastic. I just wondered why V. E. Campudoni never tried to get himself published sooner. I truly hope he keeps writing beyond this series, because I have a feeling he's going to become a household name in the coming years.

Have a book ever made you stop reading from time to time just so you could fan your face or change your underwear? Not that many authors actually do that to me. There's Selena Kitt, Lucian Bane, Nicholas Bella and now V.E Campudoni!!! I was surprised that this book started exactly where the last one left off. I was expecting a flash forward type of thing, but this... This gave it a very episodic feel and I must say it was indeed refreshing to see a Dom being so fragile. I know that like before, this book has it's characters and side stories and oh boy did I love them. Especially Nadia's transition into becoming a Mistress. I know many Domina's and Madam's who got into S&M in order to get over their personal struggles with rape and it was wonderful to read this transition. With that, I want to talk about Lana and Enzio. Wow and I do mean Wow with a capital 'W'! Reading Lana's struggles between the Dom she desire Vs. the man she loves was a head banger for me! I kept screaming at my tablet. "IT'S THE SAME MAN DAMN IT!" and I understood why Enzio never told her. She needed to make that decision on her own, he is the perfect Dom. *Sigh* And the club scenes were so perfect! I am infatuated with the Looking Glass. I love their Halloween traditions and the way they punish rule violators. Then there's Gia. Wow, I felt her decent into madness and I actually felt sorry for her. Then there was the ending. I cried. I cried and thank the heavens book three is now on B&N because I need to know what happens. If you are in the lifestyle or curious about it. Pick up this series. You'll get a nice firm grasp what it's like.

I feel that the second book in the series was definitely better than the first. With all the various story lines in the books, things seem to be heading in a more definitive way to something that is going to make sense.

We find out in this book that Lana is now single, but of course Enzio is not. She knows she has deep feelings for him, but she's too afraid to fight for what she wants. She is also obsessed with Dom 241 from the Looking Glass Club, even though Enzio is her current Master. While Enzio is glad he has Lana in a D/s relationship, it still isn't enough. Once he becomes single he decides enough is enough and tries to convince Lana to choose him over Dom 241--even though they are one in the same. But will things go how he wants, or will she choose the other "man"?

More secrets are revealed throughout this book, but more characters get added to the mix, some of which I'm not sure why, but maybe that will be more apparent in the next book. Things started looking up in this book and I'm eager to see how everything comes together in book 3.

Just when you think you can't get pulled deeper into a great story, this one was hotter, sexier, heartbreakingly satisfying. Wow, so many characters intermingling with one another and every one of their situations are as amazing.

Enzio's heart is broken, not once but twice and his pain is excruciating. You can feel the light leave him as he makes a decision that will change his relationship with more than just Lana. Marie's disdain for Lana's behavior is evident when Marie cannot keep her honesty to herself. The rage Enzio fills with once finds out what happened to his sister, Nadia. Nadia's self worth has been destroyed, but her will to survive and learn is a bittersweet process. Joslin and Rachele's decision to have a baby was a surprise and exciting to see how they were so aware of their love for one another.

Every story line with each character is written with enough detail and intrigue. What a great talent. I know this is going to be an experience I will never forget. Thank You for such a fantastic story!

Holy bejesus...Enzio (dom 241) has me in a permanent state of arousal with only the level of dampness that changes...from moist to soaking wet and every level in between. I still wanted to grab hold of Lana's shoulders and shake some sense into her...this book (two) in the series had so much going on it took a lot of concentration to keep all the sub-plots straight in my head...but damn...I so want to dine at the restaurant at The Looking Glass. I had ah-ha moments, surprise gasp moments, heart-racing and panty-dropping moments...to a couple of big OH-MY-GOD moments...I can't wait to read the next chapter---Laid Bare

I have to give you five stars for effort. I binge read all three of the Masked Emotions books written by local author V. E. Campudoni. Now I am writing this review based on all three books on what I had read so far and I will copy and past this review for all three book. With that said. This book is not like your traditional BDSM novels, there are a lot of characters beside the story main ones. The writing style strongly reflects both James Patterson or Stephen King. Meaning that beside the main characters the side characters also plays an intricate part of the tale.

However, jumping from character to character within a chapter will fend off readers of this genre. Readers do not care about the side characters, they only want to care about the main characters and their interactions with one another. They will not care about Enzio's sister who was gang rape by Lana's boyfriend Samuel and his buddies and she becomes hell bent on revenge. They would not care about Samuel becoming instantly remorseful for what he had done. They would not care about Akira who is trying to get Enzio to work in his club or his adopted daughters Juno and Miko. They would not care about Joslin or Rachel who in part, help mold Enzio to who he is. Or his stalker Gia who in my opinion is written very well, especially her decent into madness. Then there's the characters who get introduced later on in the other books. Jayce, Raul, Donnie and Lochlan. Readers who would want a instant hot and heavy read will not like this.

Yet for a reader like myself. I do care. Mr. Campudoni created a world, not a story and in that world there are gears that are moving, different paths on a long road that all leads to the same destination. The pacing of the writing felt more like fun and mayhem. There's comedy, love, hate, conniving murder, lies, deception and lust go into making this series something new for a genre that felt more like a cookie formula than anything else. It's great when you know the primary characters, know what kind of people they are, and how well they interact with one another. At first it was confusing trying to figure out who the villain were, but I completely understood where V. E. Campudoni was going with his story and he did an excellent job on keeping the chemistry between the characters so perfectly in tune. Basically its a standard soap opera formula and I applause V. E. Campudoni for at least trying to break the mold. The Masked Emotions Series (Linger, Longing and Laid Bare) plays out like an interesting television series in your mind. Keeping my interest and kept me turning the pages. I wanted to know more about all of the characters and their personal struggles with their inner demons.

I truly enjoyed the sexual scenes and the hardcore BDSM scenes and I truly appreciate that unlike all of the Doms and Masters in every single BDSM books out there. Enzio is a Dom who cares. He is not a perfect Adonis of a man. He has doubts, he has fear and has feelings. This vulnerability is what I always wanted with a Dom character. Not some jackass who instantly comes into the room and take a helpless woman with no self worth and basically treats them like their personal whore. I appreciate the realism to the story. I appreciate the raw emotions and I very much appreciate that he is using none of the common formula that I am used to seeing in these types of novels.

The Masked Emotions Series is a diamond in the rough. People will hate it without a shadow of a doubt. People will get confused on the amount of characters this series has and how they all are connected. People may not like the cliffhanger endings. Yet, people, like myself will enjoy this soap opera. All of them are great reads, with good writing and I learn something new about each character and their relationships with each other, as well as a peek into their lives. Then there's the club. The Looking Glass has to be the best sexual club ever written and the way it was described and the culture makes it a character on its own. I am excited for the fourth installment of this five book series. Don't be surprised that in a couple of years down the line this series becomes a live-action cable series. I say this because that is how it plays out when you read it and I can guaranteed you that will be the only time everyone will realized just how precious and unique this series really is.

Longing was not as I expected after reading Linger by V.E. Campudoni. I look for four things to consider if a book is good. It must make you laugh, cry, want to throw it across the room and lastly not wanting to put it down. Longing passed all of these with flying colors, however, this book to me was difficult to read. Enzio and Lana still the main characters ( I think or maybe it is just Enzio and his revolving door of ladies and men.) Enzio would still be any ladies dream guy. This book just had was too many side stories in it that that distracted from the main one. Although the parts are written well and the scenes are very descriptive it was just a hard read.

Lana is obsessed with the mysterious Dom 241 and wants to see him again. He's dark and brooding way is exciting to her when he demeans her in a club session, but lately, he's been asking about her Master. Isn't she happy with him? Does he know she's here with him? Has he given her permission to be with another person? Her answers lead Dom 241 to throw her out of his session telling her that until she can answer his questions and/or have permission from her own Master that she is not to come back to see him again.
Enzio is saddened that Lana doesn't appear to return his love for her and hardens himself against the cold realization that his dream of them being together is never going to happen. He starts going out with Marie instead and relegates Lana to just having distant training sessions every 2-3 days with him.
His sister, Nadia, is starting to learn about S&M and is using Juno as a training sub. It's helping her a lot but her anger issues still need working on. Eventually, she starts to make close friends with Raul, a man that runs her survivors group, and it doesn't take long for them to make it into something stronger together. She can finally be near a man sexually again without flinching and being scared.
Samuel Knight is sorry for his part in Nadia's rape and has always said so, which is part of the reason that his father didn't subject him to the punishment inflicted on the other three boys involved. He's sickened by what he's done and tries to commit suicide, and so when he wakes in hospital to find Kelly,an ex-girlfriend of his, there he confesses everything to her before falling back asleep. He wakes again to find her arguing with his mother who is trying to push her out the door saying something about how she was well-paid to leave Samuel alone? But before he can ask too many questions he's sedated again. Much later, he tracks her down to find out some astonishing home-truths that change his life.
Tetsuo Yamada is angry at his father for breaking his family up and destroying it all.He was left to be raised in the slums of Tokyo with his grandfather and was bullied constantly by the other kids. When his grandfather died, he went from leading a gang to turning it into a legitimate pornographic production company. He's started seeing Miko as a way to get to Akira but ends up being punished by Enzio and Juno in a way that he would have never imagined.
But Enzio's stalker has gotten herself installed in his life by becoming a guest professor for his psychology class. She follows her about everywhere, his class, his gym, his Dorm, his club and even just sitting in her car watching him with others. She hates all the girls in his life and starts marking Lana and Marie's papers down so that they fail and lose their scholarship. Will she manage to chase everyone away and get Enzio all to herself? And what will happen when Lana discovers his secret?
I recomend this book to all.

Free copy for an honest review.
This is part two of this series continuing from where book one finished. Enzio and Lana are still at odds with each other, in love but not being honest about their feelings is causing confusion. Enzio's lifestyle with the club and the other women just add to it, Lana is torn in two she loves him, but is drawn by the strength and domination of the Dom at the club. With her two exes both being involved as well she is struggling, I got the feeling at one point that she was going to do something to end her own torture. So many characters and their own personal stories as well as the one entwining them all together, it can get a bit overwhelming and confusing reading. So many twists and turns and interference causing even more issues for this couple, I felt I wanted to scream at everyone to leave them alone to just step back or failing that for goodness sake someone explain to Lana the truth. I felt so much anguish and an almost anger that the two of them not just sit down and actually talk to each other, it was so frustrating. There is a lot more of the BDSM club, explicit sexual and punishment content, there is also violence which is graphic. A very deep and sometimes disturbing read, it brings out a great mixture of feelings and most of it not happy ones, at the same time it is compelling so you just have to keep reading to get to the end praying that all will end well. I am sorry to say you do not get the ending in this one either, you are again left with questions and a feeling of being cheated somehow. So now I have to read the next book and hope it is finally resolved in that.

I received this book as an Exclusive ARC for an honest review. Longing is book two in The Masked Emotions Series, and I wish that it was possible to give this series more than 5 stars. This book is not just about sex, you have love, passion, heartbreak, and relationships everything that we deal with on a daily basis.
Enzio has been in love with Lana forever but she never saw him as anything more than a friend until……read to find out. Lana has still not put two and two together to realize that her dream man is within arms reach.
The passion in this book makes you want more and more. And it’s not only between Enzio and Lana but you have to read to find out who else. Welcome to a world of your deepest, hottest fantasies, enjoy!

I love how VE Campudoni can weave several stories into one series. It is amazing and wonderful. The characters of course are amazing even more so then the first story. We see even more of Lana and Enzio and they are even more amazing. Enzio as a dom is so much hotter in this story. We see how they evolve and how their past and present come together. We see their issues from the past and how it comes into the present also. We see their fears and love and how it works for them and against them. I loved this so much

Lana and Enzio my love for these characters grew even more in this next book. Watching them change and grow. How their relationship, friendship begins to change. I also love the friends they have around them all with their own stories. It's not just about our main couple but those around them with their own tale, heart aches and happiness. Again i could not put this book down and again it was hot as hell!

Continuing from book 1, Lana and Enzo still have some steamy scenes, but they seem to miss a a cretin something. While side characters step forward and you start to connect the dots.
