Irrevocable Sometimes when you can't go back, the only way out is to descend into the darkness.
My Captor
When I woke in that place, I just wanted to survive. But survival came at a cost, for which they demanded my will and body.
My Master
With pain came acceptance. Fully-dependent on the man who claimed me, I learned to appreciate what I had-life and relative safety.
My Protector
I watched him spill blood and tend my injuries. With betrayal came a revelation. The only way out was to bring them all down or die trying.
Bend, Don't Break
I thought I was done.
my End
I couldn’t take my eyes off her as the bullet tore through me, leaving me with nothing but the hope that I had done enough to save her. The darkness tried to engulf me—to brand me as its own and drag me to my fate.
my Darkness
Waking to see her tear-stained face above me was enough to make my heart stutter. I was alive and free from that place—but not from the toll it had taken on my mind and body.
my Strength
My story should have ended, but one woman kept standing in the way of that. The only way I could have her was to find a way to put the darkness to rest.

This book was twisted and I couldn't put it down. I was cheering for all four main characters. These books will break your heart but also put it back together again.
The action starts on the very first page and was impossible to put down. This a two book compilation. In the first book there's no lead in. A young woman slowly come to by being held down by a bunch if men intent on doing very nasty and horrendous things to her before they kill her. Her fear turns them on even more. But she's not about to go down without a fight. She gets a momentary reprieve by a man named Kirk, who puts a stop to what's happening. She thinks he's her savior before her world crashes even more when she's to be trained as a sex slave, her identity to be completely obliterated. She is now known as Silver and is told to forget her old life. The current on is all she'll ever know now. There's absolutely no escape. She stills continue to fight it even though it will mean she will be killed unless she can at least fake it. There is only one man who stands between her and death. Yet she continuously fights him. Part of her knows she can't afford for him to give up on her and throw her to the wolves but she can't help trying to find a way out. When she fully realized realizes that her predicament is here to stay she knows she's better of with the devil she knows who doesn't seem to be as sadistic as the others. There are plenty of twists and turns that kept me on edge. This book is more mentally and emotionally darker than physically, which makes it more real and horrifying. The second book is completely told by Kirk's POV. The author explains in the beginning why she did this, and while reading it, I'm so glad she did. It really completes the story. Kirk is so much more complex and he also lives through help. Definitely a Must Read
I did enjoy the first book in this duet very much. The second book was more difficult for me to get through because the first half of it is practically a retelling of the first one. The author says it's not, but he goes to a therapist and tells her, which in turn tells us, his responses to things that happened in the first book. For me, I didn't need to know how he felt in those situations, because by the end of the first book you know how he is, you know how he feels about what he's done, so I didn't need to read it, so it took me longer to get through it, cause I was bored. The second half of the second book picks up and there's lots of things going on, and it got better. Overall, pretty good read. I did anticipate for it to be a darker read, from the synopsis & reviews, so just know going in there's almost more hearts & flowers than whips & chains!
