Copy given in exchange for an honest review

Plot
The story was definitely intriguing and mysterious. It was a quick who-dun-it. Tamara was kidnapped and in the end we still don't know who it was. The author gave enough information/clues to conclude that there are at least 4 suspects, but even when Tamara confronted the perpetrator, their identity wasn't revealed. I'm wondering if this will be tackled in a second book.

Characters
Omar was amazing from the moment he was introduced. He and Tamara experienced insta-love and although their connection was written a bit choppily, there was no doubt of their chemistry. Omar was loving, loyal, protective, successful, considerate, etc. He was an extremely likable character.

Tamara was harder to like. At times she was immature, impulsive, condescending, etc., which reflected negatively on her character. Add to that the fact that the author had EVERY man (basically) in the book madly in love with her, it was pretty difficult to take this character seriously.

Final Thoughts
It was an amazing first book. I would recommend it to romantic mystery lovers and would be interested in seeing more of this story.

His Love, Her Darling

The minute he sets eyes on her , he was a goner and as for her just the brushing of his hand and that was it . Her mixed heritage making her more than beautiful, her beauty couldn’t go unnoticed and on top of her beauty she intelligent, smart, sexy and very personable. The total package! which is a gift and a curse. Men are attracted to her like flies to honey and that drove Omar crazy… Omar is extremely handsome himself and very wealthy, meaning he is a great catch…
So many selfish, crazy people who don’t understand the word NO.
This book is action packed: unrequited love, passion, jealousy, envy, kidnapping etc… etc…
My heart went out to Tammy & Omar…
Can’t wait for Falsified 2
Ps. I hated all the numbers & “falsified” … because I switched to text to speech, when I am driving or my brain needed a break. I do that when I can’t put the book down 😜
Great read!!

I liked this book. The writing and the story were both good. I couldn't stop turning the pages. The ending was different. Not my cup of tea but not bad. This author is one to watch. I hope she does another book with these same characters. All in all 3 1/2 Stars.

I want to know is Omar going to go psycho on Jack or Ralph or maybe even Wesley I know Tamara and her bestie Michelle need to give Leila a beat down a hood one. I really hope there is a part 2 and coming soon

My love

This book was a surprise from the in a good way, and I couldn't put it down. Omar and Tamara are the couple who keep defining the odds with their love for each other. They have so many outside forces trying to break them apart. If they don't have anything else, they have their love.

Falsified by A. Akinosho is a romance-mystery revolving around Tamara Turner and Omar Al Thanya.

Omar’s character is very well-written and his controlling, alpha-male persona shines throughout the novel. He doesn’t come across as an unreasonable person. In some instances, he does showcase his territorial behavior, which is okay. A guy is not worth keeping if he’s not a tad possessive about the woman in his life. All his actions could be justified and he had good reasons behind them.

The case is totally opposite with Tamara. She is a bundle of contradictions and there is nothing fun about it. By profession, she is an ASA which completely contradicts her personal behavior. She is not a strong person but is pretending to be one throughout the story. One major character flaw in Tamara is that she doesn’t know how to set limits. Every guy she’s met throughout the book seems to have irrevocably fallen in love with her.

If all the other male characters begin to see the female protagonist as nothing more than a sex object, then I believe there is serious problem with the whole plot and that’s the case with Tamara. Her naivety comes across as stupidity on so many occasions that I’ve lost count.

I don’t even understand why men are obsessed with her. The only thing attractive about her are her unique looks. The moment she opens her mouth, I only saw her as a shallow person who annoyed me to the core. There were so many eye rolling moment when she spoke.

As of other characters, I didn’t get an in-depth understanding of the workings of their mind or their motivation. The story ended leaving me hanging and with questions that I need answers to, which I’d hopefully find in the next book.

The writing is stiff and seriously needs to be polished to make it relatable.

I only liked the book because Omar was a well-developed character. I hope to see more of Tamara if there is a sequel.

WHOA!

Ok this was definitely a good book . One of those that once you start reading you can’t put it down 👀. The plot was interesting and full of many unexpected twists and turns.

Omar and Tamara loved each other with a love that was hard to describe. It stood the test of many obstacles. I won’t go any further than that because I don’t want to give to much away.

I really wanted to give the book five stars however the ending sent me for a loop and left me with a wait what…kind a feeling. This was my first time reading a work by this author
And I really don’t think will be the last I hope there will be a second book to this because clearly there should be a “Falsified
2” 🤞🏽.

DNF after 5 chapters.

Dull, stiff and dry writing. Text is overly formal which lends to the dullness. At first I thought it was just one or two characters. Maybe they're supposed to be that way. But no, everything and everyone was written with the same dull monotone. Not what an author should shoot for in what's supposed to be a romantic suspense.

Even with the prim and proper language, it is still dreadfully in need of editing.

There are elements of 50 Shades in this book and the lead male is a little too controlling for my liking but it was definitely a page turner. I want Tammy to be a little stronger especially with Omar’s control but I will definitely read the next installment to see if I can find out what happens next.

I want to call this Love in the fast lane. An easy quick read.

I love this book. I think its brilliant and interestingly so.
The writer is witty and very lively.
My only issue is some of the dialogues were a bit lengthy and the suspense at the end is killing.
Overall a great book, looking forward to reading more books from this author.

Poor formatting was a big distraction. Too many potential villains and it wasn’t wrapped up. Too many jumps in time.
