Alien Gate

The short introduction was very interesting and fast paced. The characters went from meeting to war on a new planet pretty darn fast. But I also found myself understanding how you could attach yourself to someone instantly under the circumstances. The excitement of meeting and then the experience of war and worrying about that person and can do something to your emotions and change you forever. Now I just have to find the rest of the book 📖 and finish reading it!!! Recommend this book 📖.

To me this book Ms. Ashley is writing is a different kind of book than her others, plus we have cliffhangers. Yeahhhhhhhhh. NOT!!  Candice comes back to this little town because she has to bury her parents who were killed in an automobile accident, she decides to stay at the house in Sun Valley, Arizona’s which is in the middle of the desert. Candice finds a job as a waitress in a diner in town which was nice and kept her busy, than one day when she was cleaning up to close the dinner a Carnival comes to town, All the carnies coming into the dinner to eat, specially this one very handsome hunk.
Luke is a wrestler at the carnival, but there is more to Luke that meets the eye. You see Luke is half Alien who is called Arias from the planet Hecate, in the galaxy of Orion. Emotions play a great part in Luke/Arias cursed life. And if his emotions change don't blink your eyes you may miss it all.
All I can say is WOW !! YES!!! I recommend this book and I sure hope Ms. Ashley has her pen flowing fast through the pages of the 2nd book because I need to see what happens... I was gifted this book for an honest and truthful review..

This is a great imaginative story about strange humanoids living and working in The Carnival of Cursed Souls. Book one is about Candy a young woman who comes to town following her parent's death and Luke a wrestler for the Carnival who just happens to be an alien. I do not want to give too much information about this book, I would instead suggest you read it. It is well written and has nice characters. I received this book free in exchange for an honest review.

Incomplete

This is an incomplete story that takes up about two thirds of the book. The remainder is an unrelated story. Fortunately the serial is on KU, so I'm moving on to the next installment. Can't say I would otherwise. 3.5 stars.
