Need more information

Just starting to try to learn about essential oils so I thought this one would be super helpful because the title said the only book of essential oils I would ever need. I don't feel that I got enough information. So I do need to read more. Still there was a lot of info in here, but I want more.

Should be called basics of essential oils

It was very interesting to read. It gives a stripped down no nonsense explanation of what oil is good for what ailment. I was hoping to find more about blending oils but it is a good place to start.

Very basic information

I read this book in less than 20 minutes. It is good basic information on some of the essential oils and how to use them. If you are starting out like me this is an ok read but not as in depth as I hoped.

Ok

Wished it would have more information for other symptoms. But it's still good and it's not bad for free. Try it out.

Too brief

Some interesting info, though the story on lavender is missing a fact and that is he didn't put his hand in the lavender by accident, it was intentional. Who would leave a huge vat of lavender oil open? Also milk isn't a very good dispersing for oils in the bath; to be safe use a proper carrier oil, like almond and never peppermint!

Clarity is essential.

Ms. Looks clarifies how complex the issues re which are involved and explains what to look for , what to do and what to avoid, and why or why not, whiteout favouritism, allowing the reader to be guided, not forced, much like her guidance applying to dogs.

It was informative

I thought there was some good information in this book, however I do wish there was more. There are several common essential oils that were left out of this book and no mention of exotic ones.

I gave 5 stars because it was informing and interesting. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a quick reference that is not overwhelming and I liked the simple and quick explanation of each one mentioned. Its not a dictionary but quick and informative.
