A highly-skilled practitioner of medicine saved Cooper's life and sanity while that same woman steals his heart.

Being a SEAL is at the core of Cooper's being, but he isn't just doing his duty when the doctor who miraculously restored him to life is kidnapped. He's the first in line to volunteer in her rescue.

Dr. Sasha Childs has devoted herself to helping others. Finding out her husband is helping himself to her best friend solidifies her sense of single-minded devotion to practicing medicine. Disillusioned about love, she volunteers her skills to a Syrian refugee camp crying out for medical aid. She's completely unaware of the war brewing around her until she's caught in the middle of it.

Cooper had his hands full rescuing Sasha from foreign hands the first time. After the war comes home, keeping her safe a second time becomes damn near impossible. Blessed with getting his life handed back to him, he discovered he needs a second miracle before the woman he's fallen for becomes little more than a casualty of war.

This book is part of the SEALS of Honor series but can definitely be read on its own. When Navy SEAL Cooper hears that the doctor who saved his life has been kidnapped he makes sure he is part of the team to rescue her. Of course the rescue is a success but when Cooper discovers that Dr. Sasha is now single, he knows that this is his chance to act on his feelings. While I enjoyed the way the fiesty Dr. Sasha and Cooper got to know one another, I felt that overall the story was disjointed and rushed at the end. The threat to Sasha didn't seem to connect with the other kidnapping victim, Theresa. Even at the end the fate of Theresa wasn't resolved. I have to wonder if that was a deliberate cliffhanger for the next SEAL of Honor installment. Although considering Theresa was not involved with a SEAL but another doctor, I'm not sure that is the case.

She finally changed the formula a tiny bit! Still a three cause while there was some more depth to these characters exploring why they were deciding to do what they were doing it still felt surfacey.
I think we read these kind of books and the characters are just Shell-y enough that we are able to put ourselves into the heroine and be desired and pursued by the guy that we dream about. It makes it too easy to forget about how that works in the real world and probably why some relationships fall flat because there are unrealistic expectations. Nice escape series though if you keep your brain on which maybe isn’t an escape 🤷‍♀️

**ARC RECEIVED IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW**

This was yet another extremely fast paced read, which isn't necessarily a bad thing except that the ending felt so rushed, one minute there's a gun fight and the next Cooper and Sasha are kissing and pledging their eternal love for one another..it felt incomplete.

First off I don't understand what Theresa's situation had to do with Sasha? She was targeted for absolutely no reason at all, both in Turkey and California but both situations had nothing to do with her, so what was she, collateral damage? I understand David and Ron's roles but Sasha was literally the outsider in all of that, it was just ludicrous everything that happened to her when at the end of everything it had nothing, zero, nada to do with her. The only good thing to come out of it was her relationship with Cooper.

They made a good fit, her and Cooper. He was a nice guy with a small hero complex, deny it all he wants, but the fact that he didn't make a move on her when she was married speaks volumes because many men wouldn't give a shit. Sasha was a spunky little thing with a great and positive outlook. She wasn't whiny, annoying nor clingy...Cooper was more clingy than she was. Still they worked well together and had each other's backs when the situation called for it.

I didn't particularly like her mother's view of marriage. Caroline was a nice and sweet lady but to try and force her daughter to forgive the man who betrayed her, talking about men make mistakes..are you fucking kidding me!! If he was unhappy, man the fuck up and speak to your wife, don't fuck her 'best friend' and then add even more insult to injury by having the trashy best friend move in with you! That man was a fucking loser and Sasha was super awesome for standing her ground! Some mother's can be fickle I guess..

Overall, it was an interesting read but I would have enjoyed it better if the actual storyline had something to do with the main character and not the secondary character...still a pretty good series.

As a Navy SEAL, it's in Cooper's nature to want to be a part of each mission and to help save lives. However, this mission is personal and nothing will stop him from going. She's in danger...Sasha, the Dr. that saved his life a year ago, allowing him to return to his job, and the woman he can't stop thinking about. Unfortunately for Cooper, she's off limits because she's married. So while he has very strong feelings for her, he knows he can't, and won't, act on them. Thankfully, Levi, the man heading the mission, personally tells Cooper he needs him, for various reasons and then regretfully informs him that Sasha has been taken.

Sasha is examining a pregnant woman that's in need of more care than she herself can provide. Thankfully, Sasha is able to quickly relay the situation to her team at the clinic, allowing them to get her the care she needs. Sasha's three month contract with the refugee camp is over in two days and though she knows her services are needed, she's looking forward to going home. Except she's not looking forward to facing what she left behind...her cheating husband, well ex-husband now. Once she caught him with her former best friend over nine months ago, she was done. As she and her patient are returned to the clinic, the danger for Sasha becomes real as she's abducted.

It isn't until after they're rescued and things are calming down a little, that she realizes why one of them seems so familiar...it's Cooper. Sasha remembers his time as a patient and as for Cooper, he remembers everything about her. Now, thanks to a conversation he couldn't help but overhear, he also knows she's divorced. While he wouldn't have wished that pain on Sasha, he isn't going to miss his chance at a future with her.

After they return home, it seems the danger to Sasha isn't over. When too many occurrences happen in one day, she's scared and the first person she thinks to call is Cooper. She hasn't stopped thinking about him since her rescue and she knows he csn protect her. Cooper immediately goes into action and races to her. As he vows to personally keep her safe, their close proximity, when coupled with their attraction to one another, is hard to deny. Thankfully, neither of them want to.

Can Cooper and his team keep Sasha safe? Is Sasha the target? Or is she just an innocent caught in the middle? Will Cooper help heal Sasha's heart and show her that their love is true, lasting, and loyal? Will these two get their HEA? Will Cooper become an official member of "The Keepers?"

One-click now to read Cooper and Sasha's dangerous journey to an everlasting love. Please keep in mind this is book six of the series and I highly recommend reading the books in order as previous characters are mentioned throughout each subsequent story. Now I eagerly await Markus's story, due in September, as he receives a second chance at happiness after losing his first wife in a tragic accident.

On a side note, I really hope Levi gets his own story *hint hint*, along with the other members of his team. Also, I am so freaking happy to say that there were no references to Cooper's past "experience," and we're also given the impression that there hasn't been anyone in his life since first meeting Sasha as he'd already developed strong feelings for her. Thank you so much Dale for allowing this book to focus only on Cooper and Sasha as a couple and not any specifics on their past relationships. That makes this reader a very happy bookworm.

The sixth book in the SEALs of Honor series has it all, a HEA romance, suspense, tension, humor, witty banter and twists and turns that catch you by surprise. The premise of Cooper finally having his love for Sasha fulfilled after a long and hard fraught recovery was heartwarming. What it took to get to their HEA was intense, yet had its romantic moments at the same time. The change of locals provided a bit of texture to what could have been a flat rescue story, but turned it into a thrill around every corner. The story was gripping from start to finish with an ending that tied up Cooper and Sasha's story nicely and paving the way for the next book in the series.

Received by the author for an honest review.

I loved this story a lot, the big seal protector and the little doctor he was sent to protect.
Cooper is a seal who was treated by Sasha a year ago. He fell for her, but at the time she was married.
When she discovered her husband was cheating on her, she divorced and fligh away to help poor refugees in a foreign country.
Their she was abducted by bad guys ... I won't tell more you have to read the book to know what happen.

I liked the way Cooper and Sasha relationship evolve, there is a lightness in their talk.
There is just one thing i though didn't do it for me, was the end : maybe a bit too abrupt. I would have love to know more of David and Theresa maybe. Or maybe we have to thing in the next book of the serie :)

Another Great SEAL!

Dr. Sasha Child is a volunteer physician in a refugee camp in Turkey. She and several other American doctors turn up missing and Cooper intends to be in on the rescue mission because Dr. Sasha saved him some time ago so it is only right that he save her.

Cooper had been severely wounded while on a mission and Sasha had performed the surgery that saved his life. He fell in love with her during that time but she was married and off limits.

Volunteering for this position was a good way to get out of California and gain some distance and perspective from her ex-husband, Greg, and her ex-bff, who she caught in bed together. Sasha was assisting a young refugee mother, who was in labor, when she and the other doctors were abducted from the clinic and taken to a shack along the Turkish coastline.

This story hits on a very sensitive subject that unfortunately is part of present day life. People are fleeing their homeland that is caught up in a war not of their choosing and are forced into refugee camps that are overpopulated and sanitary conditions are hardly adequate.

I love Cooper and Sasha’s story and the bravery of our military to go where most would never attempt. Combine Cooper and his elite special operations SEAL team with Dr. Sasha and her devoted fellow physicians, they all provide so much aid to so many in great need.

This story has so many unexpected twists and turns. There is betrayal, divorce, danger, stalking, multiple attempts on Sasha’s life, hot sexy stuff and so much more! It’s an exciting fast-paced read. The content and subject matter are well written and the emotions described are very on point. There is enough humor and angst to make this story very entertaining without it being too dark. Kidnaping Americans has been a tragically real issue in our world but the author makes sure to keep it serious but light along with a happy ending together with a sweet loving relationship and a happily ever after!

This was a short book but it did hold my interest and I liked it overall. Cooper and Sasha were both likable to me and I enjoyed reading their story. I will be going back to read the rest of the books in the series at some point as well.

One of the thing I loved most was Sasha's great attitude. She was very positive, caring, and very mature. She was a little stubborn and it got her in trouble but it wasn't in an annoying way because she fought to help people out of the goodness of her heart. She was a joy to read because she was betrayed by people she loved but didn't let that ruin the rest of her life. She came out in the other side stronger, smarter, and happier than ever before.

Cooper was an amazing man, he was a gentleman, respectful, and such a sweetheart. I'm glad he got his chance with her. He deserved it and his patience and good morals paid off in the end. I never felt like he saw her as in hero worship, his feelings for her seemed completely genuine to me. He proved he was totally trustworthy, capable of taking care of her, and understanding of her job's demands and what it entails. They're a solid match and pair well together.

The only thing I would have liked to see was just a little more time with them because it felt so short by the time we got to the end. Another thing was I wanted to see what had happened to Theresa, her husband, David, and Ron, not exactly in detail but some sort of closure or resolution for their part in the story because it was just kind of left hanging without any real statement of what happened. That won't hold me back though in doing a reread. I'll totally read this book again sometime. Short and sweet, no drama, just a light and fun, quick romance.

SEALs of Honor- Cooper

This another amazing action packed book in the SEALs of Honor series with Cooper reconnecting with the doctor that had saved his life Sasha. They were on a mission in Turkey to rescue four doctors that had been kidnapped. He volunteered for the assignment when he found out she was one of the doctors. As it turned out she was now divorced so he could peruse her the way he could not the first time when she was still married. She volunteered to be a doctor in the refuge camps to clear he head and start her life over. Her husband had cheated on her with her best friend, Maureen so she could never trust him again. The SEAL unit was getting a reputation for finding the love with the women they were rescuing and Cooper was more that happy to have it happen to him. It was non stop action as the SEALs had to free the doctors several times. Cooper and Sasha did fall in love even escaping from a freighter that was holding them captive by bad men. She had to save him from bleeding out after he was shot but they both survived their ordeal. Now it is Markus's turn to find love again after losing his first wife in an accident and the next release centers around his love story. All these stories are so romantic and action packed. I highly recommend this whole series.

Dr. Sasha Childs saved committed SEAL Cooper's life and stole his heart, but as a married woman, he knew nothing could happen. However, when he hears that she is kidnapped he is the first to volunteer to go and rescue her. Sasha has devoted her life to helping others but when he finds her husband in bed with her best friend, she knows everything is over. Feeling unsettled she volunteers as a medic in a Syrian refugee camp in order to pull her life together. With his hands full rescuing Sasha once. when back in the US it becomes almost impossible to save her from them a second time. But with this miracle in his life, he has to do whatever it takes to save the woman he loves before it is too late.

This was very much a mystery as Cooper and Sasha tried to find out why she was kidnapped and to try and have a chance at a future together. There was a lot of drama and intrigue as they worked their way through the mysteries that they were faced with. It was a sweet love story that like the previous book in the series was a bit frustrating as Cooper struggled to catch on that she really wanted him. It was great when they eventually had the HEA they needed even though I found it a little frustrating the way the story ended a little abruptly (missing out what happened to those who had kidnapped her in the end). On the whole well written and very enjoyable.

Cooper

WOW! Another great story. This is about Cooper and Sasha. Cooper has been in love with Sasha since she first operated on him. Too bad she was married at that time. Now a year later, things changed drastically. Sasha is divorced and kidnapped with some colleagues. Cooper and his team rescue them and the attraction ensues. It was a dramatic ending with Cooper back in the hospital after being shot but Sasha professes her love and now Cooper is now a member of the Keepers club. So happy these two found their happily ever after. FANTASTIC job Dale! I would recommend this book.

This book is one of my favorites in the series so far. It stands to reason that when the doctor who saved his life is one of four medical personnel kidnapped, Cooper would want, no need to be involved in the rescue.

What they find is a tense situation and they need to move quickly or lose the opportunity to get to them before they are transported elsewhere by water.

Stubborn and now divorced, Dr. Sasha is more than a little temptation for Cooper.
Even stateside it seems there is going to be trouble, and lots of it.

Fast-paced, intriguing, with plenty of action and sizzle. Don't miss this book!

This was an interesting read. You got to know Cooper a bit because he'd pop up here and there in the other stories. However you only knew he was taking a really long time to heal. However you get to know about his crush and then when the hero and heroine meet you can feel and chemistry.

What makes it even more interesting was the heroine's marriage/divorce dilemma and how the hero handled it. Then the whole mystery with medications and such that you keep reading. you really got to know and feel for the heroine on this one.

This is Cooper's story. He was injured and put back together again by Dr. Sasha Childs. She saved his life in more ways than one. He was attracted to her from the first meeting but she was married and off limits.

Fast forward and now she is no longer married and she is in danger in the Middle East. Cooper comes to her rescue but the trouble follows her home and Cooper is there to help protect her.

This was a fast, action packed read. Dr. Sasha is 5ft ball of energy and she is perfect for Cooper. Another fun read with a sexy SEAL and his match.

Cooper is something else

Cooper and the rest of the gang were stationed in Turkey and were suddenly put on a mission to rescue some doctors who had volunteered their services to help refugees, because they were taken captive. And one of the doctors was Dr. Sasha, who saved Cooper's life on his last mission before he got back into the field again. And this is their story. I don't want to give anything away. So you really need to read the book. I give it six stars.

Cooper has spent time since his surgery thinking about Doc Sasha who had done the surgery on his back. He knew she was married.
The team is sent to Turkey to rescue American doctors who are kidnapped from a refuge camp. After they are rescued, Sasha recognizes Cooper. He also learns she is divorced. They are back home and her life is still in danger. Of course, Cooper is right there with her. Hopefully she returns his feelings.

Cooper remembered who she was. But knew she was married at the time. When she went missing at a refugee camp, he had to find her. So off go the Seals of Honor, to the rescue. The banter, “Are you keeping her?” Of course he was if she wanted him. Why does this keep happening? The truth comes out. In the end, he finds his keeper. His love. I loved this book. It made me laugh, and I even talked back in my head. Lol. Highly recommended!

Finding out that her husband is cheating on her with her best friend Dr Sasha heads out to Syrian. While there she and four others are kidnapped. Cooper and his teammates are tasked to retrieve them. This is not the first time he has met her. She had saved his life a year ago. But then she was married. Finding out that she is now single is a game changer. He vows to protect her even when they get back to the US. Will he be able to keep his promise when the enemy is not wanting to let her go?

Sasha takes off to the Syrian refugee camp, to heal and regain her purpose in life. So busy she is unaware of terrorists and the war around her. A kidnapping of the three medical people, with answers of why, and the obstacles to get them out. Returning to be abducted again, and calling Cooper. A good plot and Sasha and Cooper deciding what they want in life.

Good read

Good read. Lots of action like the other books plus characters who fall in love quickly. Not much depth, but I like the guys. Great friends who pick on each other, but who also have each other's back.

this book could be so good if it were longer and more developed. i really loved that there was no miscommunication in the two main characters’ relationship. i loved that we had a badass, cheery female doctor as a protagonist. i wish it were at least a couple hundred pages longer.
