More, more, more...Blue Saffire, why? I am glad to have read the beginning of Sam and Ellen's story. I always wondered how they got together. Okay, I don't know if I like where this is going...I can't wait to Legally Bound 5 is out so I can read the rest of the story and find out what happens. Who the heck is Tasha, this chick must be the bomb.com, if Ellen and Sam could not take there eyes off of her. Okay, now I am going to impatiently wait for Legally Bound 5. I am liking Sam more and more, but I will not betray Wyatt!

The turn off for me in this book was the total disrespect Sam showed his future wife in the club....... I won't be a spoiler ,but that kind of disrespect could only be so easily forgiven by a weak/or stupid woman. Especially with someone you just met. Very disappointing.

Yes, I love this world so much that when I finally made it through my massive amounts of email and noticed new releases... I had to start from the beginning. As a woman, I love these alpha in control men that will do anything to protect their families and the women they love. But I also love these strong woman who stand beside their men, not behind!

Sam's story was missing a whole lot. I hope they fill in more with Ellen and Tasha's stories because I know the author could do better. Also the next books to follow are a bit confusing...do I read Yours or Ballers II.

This novel gives us a into Sam life and how he fit into the family.
No I can't wait to find out what happens with Tasha/ Monique.
It was great finding out the beginning of Sam and Ellen relationship.

Good story
This was an interesting book. This was a look at the man, Sam Mariettie, and what makes him click. He is a loyal person as reflected in his decision to remain with Ellen. My instincts tell me his story is not over.

Tasha!
I was bored to death with the relationship between Sam and Ellen, but when Tasha entered the scene whew... fire. Sam and Ellen are only fooling themselves and I can’t wait till Sam and Tasha paths cross again.

ust wish it was longer. It was nice to get a glimpse at Sam’s personality. I feel bad for Ellen because she is not his true soulmate and once he met Tasha he should have left Ellen alone. If I was not hooked before, now I need more. Excellent story line. Going to get the rest of the books.

There's not much here but it gives you some info on Sam and Ellen. Not enough to bring his character into the mix but I'm guessing the author will give us a real story with him, hopefully.

This was the taster for book 5 in this series. This is Sam and Ellen's story.
I was totally blown away by this brief look into Sam's life and character. The book grabbed my attention from page one and never let go until the end of the short look into his story. Sam is a dark horse and his connection to the Mafia was totally unexpected. I cannot wait to read his full story.
However, that brief incident he had with Tasha whilst Ellen was present left a bitter taste in my mouth. Ellen is a better woman than me because I would have kicked him to the kerb.
I absolutely loved it, great read.

Love the Mariettie brothers - Sam included - but this story left me wondering why did Sam marry Ellen, who appears to be too weak for him. From her appearances in the previous books, I wonder how they met. I felt that her presence in the other books left me thinking that she was a formal model / baby making / do whatever my husband says type of woman. I was excited about this book as it would help me understand the true Ellen. It didn't happen - my assessment still stands - especially after the club scene. Wow what would the next book bring out - 4 kids later.......

I love Blue. Love this series. And I Love Sam. But I'm a little confused about this "teaser" and some of the details are puzzling as they don't seem to gel with the previous books in the series in regards to Ellen. I will probably change my rating after I read the FULL novel but as of now I don't like the turn this book took of a character that written a certain way in the previous books (left a bad taste) .... so stay tuned.

Loved the club scene
I' m not feeling Sam and Ellen too much, but I was feeling that club scene with the chocolaty temptress Tasha. I felt more chemistry with them than Sam with Ellen. She just was not a strong character to me. The other brothers had exciting chases and stories with some comic relief. Ellen just gave in to her feelings. She was not interesting to me.

I know this was just a teaser, but I need the rest of Sam's story. There are so many gaps. Who the heck is Tasha and why would Ellen allow Sam to get caught up with her? Heck, it seemed like Ellen was caught with her, too. Real patience will be needed to wait on Volume 5 since Blue Saffire is working on other follow-ups related to Nico and the Bothers Black. I love these books!
