Linc and Cat are great! I was extremely happy to see Cat get her stuff together, drop her loser druggy boyfriend and get away to work on her fighting career. Truthfully, I expected this book in the series to be my least favorite, but I was so wrong. I was able to identify with Cat in ways that I didn't with her sister Caroline from the first book.

Cat showed great determination and grit causing Linc to not only notice her, but respect her. I was happy when he finally gave her a chance to train with him. The close proximity, sweat and sexual tension made for a great workout and Cat finally learned how to really love a man worthy of her.
Linc was a very sexy leading man. I loved his vulnerability and the fact that even when he shut down he still left the reader with hope. The Happily Ever After was just what the doctor ordered. Linc showed a great capacity for love and forgiveness and I was glad that Cat did not have to change who she was to get her man.

Cat & Car are twins, I actually like this story a little better than the other (Lover) mainly because there is more emotion, feeling in this twins' story. Catalene is a female fighter, strong, talks trash and living wild has unfortunately gotten tangled up with the wrong crowd. She is a hot mess!! She gets a wake-up and relocates. Lincoln is a strict trainer, subdued, strong, silent type & he doesn't take no junk or trash talking. Opposites attract, I enjoyed reading how these two iron out their differences.

I really liked reading this intriguing book, it covers Cataline (a female MMA fighter that has lost her way/motivation) and Jordan (a MMA fighter trainer). This book has drama, suspense, intrigue, guilt, attempted blackmail and erotic scenes in. The storytelling skills are impressive, and the pacing dynamic. The characters are engaging with with emotional drama, needs and desires. I would definitely recommend this romance to people that like MMA fighter romance with a HEA.
