He smirked 'So... you're feisty huh Muffin?' he stared straight into my eyes and watched them widen in confusion.
Muffin? What the fuck?
'Don't call me that, my name's Emily' I narrowed my eyes and tried to keep my voice threatening but he sensed the insecurity behind it.
'Okay Muffin' he smirked his lips twitching every now and then.
I huffed and shoved at his chest which caused no movement in him whatsoever. Was the guy made of brick or something? His hand suddenly moved from my side and I instantly bought my hands up protecting my head. It was a natural force of habit thing I did living with Trevor. I closed my eyes and waited for the blow but nothing came.
'Emily?' Jake moved my arms away from my face and looked at me with concern etched into his eyes.

It was Meh. I kind of found it cliche as well but that's probably because of how many similar books I have read like this

No offence but Emily but you are one of the dumbest female characters that I've read about. No hate towards the book, it was good but Emily had me messed up

This book is complicated is there any other platforms it can be read on? it seems like this wattpad platform jumps parts of the book. I do enjoy the book though and the sequels hope to have book 3 completed soon to finish the series :)

I was so scared for the characters frequently throughout this book... I get really attached easily and I definitely loved the characters in this book. I'm so sad that I finished TBBM but happy I can read the second one because the CLIFF-HANGER was HUGE!! I loved Emily and Jakes relationship, it was just so sweet and the storyline wasn't just the normal good girl goes for the bad boy. The thing that did annoy me though was why was Emily always whimpering?? I know she went through tough things but she isn't a dog. I'm not trying to sound ugly or ungrateful for this awesome piece of work I'm just expressing my opinion. Has anyone else read this or just me?? If you have not I recommend it highly!
