Ever screw up everything with one bonehead mistake?

I woke up in a strange bed wearing nothing but a Zorro mask. Worst part? The bed belongs to my sister’s best friend.

Who I’m in love with.

I can’t walk away without trying to fix this mess, but I have only one shot.

Now how do get a woman who hates my guts to fall in love with me?

There's some sort of magic about the tension Allie brings to her romances that keeps me turning those pages way past my bed time, sneaking reading breaks in between clients at work and basically whenever I can. Maybe it's her men, who I drool over every time. Loved the story line and conflict between the two main characters, as well as the progression of both main characters' feelings toward each other. Reminded me of Christina Lauren's books, and if you liked Beautiful Player, you'll love this one! (Though they're both unique snowlfakes:). I'd recommend this book to anyone who loves a slow burn but fast pace in their romance, with subtle subplots that don't distract from that sweet, sweet love. She'll string you along just enough to drive you crazy, and don't worry, you won't be disappointed with her follow through. I'd definitely read her books again (and put this one on repeat). Enjoy!

A brilliant twist on a one night stand! Who doesn't want to go to a rocking party and hook up with Zorro, and then be wooed unmercifully in the most romantic ways?
I loved the characters in this follow up to Persistent (Book One of the series). It was really nice to catch up with them and watch them grow as their very own story unfolded. The author did a wonderful job of creating tension between the hero and heroine, who both ultimately grew in terms of who they really were by the end. I look forward to meeting more people from Garden Falls!
PS. This book can be read as a standalone.
