Burada sahte belgelerle Harry Ashworth olarak yaşamaya başlar. Cygnus Black, Orion Black ve Lucius'un babası ile iyi ilişkiler kurar. Voldemort'un yükseliş dönemine denk gelmiştir. Dumbledore ile görüşür. Hortkulukları aramaya devam eder. Peter Pettigrew'i yakalar. Bella ile Draco Malfoy'u Privet Drive'da saklar. Bella yavaş yavaş büyücü şürasına girer. Amacı bakan olmaktır. En sonunda Barty Crouch Jr.'ın hortkuluk olduğunu öğrenir ve önce kendi ölür. Sonra da onu öldürerek yok eder. Sadece Nagini ve Voldemort kalmıştır. Rose Potter, Leo Black, Sidra Potter, Hermoine, Ron ve diğerleri ile son savaşa doğru yola çıkar. Oylamada Prewitt' in yerine kim bakan olacaktır? Son savaşı kim kazanacaktır? Harry kendisi hakkındaki gerçeği açıklayacak mıdır? Bellatrix ile olan ilişkisi nasıl gelişecektir? Bundan sonra neler olacaktır? Soluksuz okunan bir roman.

I didn't like any of the characters, their decisions, or their interactions most of the time. Nearly all of the characters were reckless stubborn idiots, and worse, they spawned a hoard of even worse versions of themselves. The 'smart/cunning/powerful/... but no where near as ' ' as they thunk they are' trait of the characters the author chose to spend the most time on was exhausting to read. The story should not have been as long as it was, simply because everyone should not have survived with the amount of stupid overconfidence they exhibited. Moreover, the characters just weren't entirely realistic. I previously dropped at chapter one, because the protagonist read like a half-baked teen Sirius Black parody.

I did enjoy the world the author crafted and the story as a whole. Due to the characters, the story wasn't the best, but it was the driving factor for me not dropping this.

Quite good. Too tired to write review now, and probably won't remember to come back to it, but I really enjoyed it for the most part. The first chapter or so was hard to get into due to the juvenile behavior of Bella and Harry - I dropped it first time, only came back because a friend suggested it - but it really does improve quickly.
