Five poems, printed in two colours. There were 900 copies printed in wraps. There was also a limited edition of 100 copies in hardback and signed by WIENERS.

An early collection of poetry (some of which have a gay theme) by this now legendary (beat?) poet who was both a student of the late, great Robert Duncan and Charles Olson and close friend of Robert Creeley's, Allen Ginsberg's and many others.

John Wieners has done it again. This is a small collection of just 5 poems but all heartfelt 'torch songs' in which the poet really 'lays the heart bare'. You can feel his anguish, his pain and the hell that he goes through when we have to deal with unrequited love.

I have yet to read a bad poem by John Wieners. In the field of poetry, he sets the bar VERY high. Short but excellent book, once again.
