After resorting to desperate measures to escape an abusive situation, a young boy hides away from the world on the cold streets of Toronto. Surviving beneath the trash and debris in a cluttered alleyway, he remains undetected until a passerby discovers his true identity. Jeremy finds an exciting new world existing beyond his bleak beginning and unlikely future, along with the unexpected friendship of a boy who will stand with him against any odds. Yet his new life is anything but perfect. The suffering of his past influences every step of his journey, limiting his ability to experience emotion and creating the belief that he will never feel connected to anyone. Until her.
Starting from 2014, I have successfully released multiple novels and short stories. I hold a deep affection for paranormal/supernatural suspense romance as my favorite subject, and I’ve devised several remarkable locations that instill within me a sense of longing to experience them firsthand! (Edgewoods and Sterling Branch to name a couple!) I love anything shifter. My books center on Werewolves, or Weres, as my characters like to call themselves, along with a burly bear-shifter (Brody) and one of the sneaky feline persuasion (Stark). These handsome fellas are regular folks who possess the extraordinary capability to transform into wolves or any animal shape I decide to write. Their stories will often lead them on dangerous adventures, throw them into risky situations, and some lucky female who unexpectedly runs across their path may snag their hearts! I love a happily ever after ending, but sometimes life isn’t kind that way. Although my characters may not get everything they want, it often works out for the best. On a personal level, I love the outdoors and spend many afternoons floating in a kayak down the river with a fishing pole while plotting the events of my next book.
This makes the 4th attempt to write a review, I just am so shocked and in awe, I don't know how to put it into words, how wonderful the story is. I felt for Jeremy it explains so much why he is the way he is. My heart broke for him. RC you did a really good job. You explained why and how he became who he is. I had wondered why he acted the way he did in the previous books. I wanted to cry, so much emotion, pain, lies and deceit.
