Another awesome book in the series, they just keep getting better and better and each one can be read as a stand alone story.
Max is an unhappy man. An event in his past has its grips in him leaving him unable to sleep and unable to do his job properly at the moment. Its only at a beach party does his life turn around again when he meets Haley. A girl that just gets under his skin and behind his defences that even his best friend cant get to.
The chemistry between the two is off the charts and what starts as just a ruse, very quickly turns into more when they realise just how well they fit, and all just over a weekend.
A must read series that will leave you feeling happy.

Max is the head lifeguard at Starfish Cove but he's been put on probation after an unfortunate accident that has left him traumatised and swamped by guilt. So now he's on restricted duties like beach weddings and bonfires they bore him but he knows he's not ready to go back in the water...... if he will ever be. Haley is at Starfish Cove for her sister's wedding, she is trying to avoid her ex but her family are determined she's making a big mistake not getting back with him. She notices Max the gorgeous lifeguard and decides he would be a perfect way to get her ex off her back, being bold she goes over to Max and kisses him. Max is shocked by this gorgeous girl but soon responds to the kiss and wants to take it further....... it starts as a fun loving weekend with them pretending to be in a relationship..... how will it end for them ?????? This is filled with banter, humour, chemistry, as well as meaningful situations and loved reading it.

Rescued by the Bad Boy is the fourth book in Sylvia Pierce's Bad Boy series and, once again, she has given us an marvelous story. Haley and Max are both guarding their hearts but for two different reasons. For Max, because of a mistake he made which continues to haunt his every thought, he feels unworthy and too hurt to make any kind of commitment. Because of all the failed relationships that seem to run in her family from her sister to her Aunt to her Mother, Haley believes they are her destiny as well. But when one spontaneous kiss on the beach with a stranger reaches to their depths, both Max and Haley are drawn to each other like a moth to a flame.
Though they continue to spend time together during her sister’s wedding celebration weekend, their entire relationship is premised upon the fact that it is merely a temporary arrangement. But when their time together nears its end, both Haley and Max recognize their inner fear of never seeing each other again. Will they let themselves say goodbye forever or will they finally be able to admit their true feelings before it's too late?
Despite the fact that Rescued by the Bad Boy is a simple short story, there is nothing simple about this magnanimous couple. Their electrifying chemistry is evident from that very first kiss and it continues to spark right to the very end. Max and Haley have such a deep sorrow which they are dealing with and the imminent connection of their souls through their first hot and oh so sexy first kiss slowly begins to free them both. Although this book's title is Rescued by the Bad Boy, I believe these characters truly rescued each other.
Every book I have read from Ms Pierce has the unwavering ability to pull me into the lives of the characters as she always gives such a detailed image for her readers which keeps me entranced page after page. And Rescued by the Bad Boy is no exception. This is another great story, Ms Pierce. As always, I'm truly excited for your next story and can't wait to see where you carry my heart the next time.

I can't get enough of this series!! Each one can be read as a standalone so I suggest picking one and hitting up another one that strikes your fancy! One thing they have in common is how incredibly fucking hot they are. Rescued by the Bad Boy brings us to the beach...

So when she saw an opening to show him she was done, she took it. What she didn't expect was for the hot lifeguard to bring her to her knees. And to also become her fake boyfriend for the weekend. But, what the hell? It was only a weekend, right?
Max and Haley's chemistry is fucking unbelievably hot! Between the games they play and going all in, they can't deny the heat between them. That's all it was ever suppose to be but when feelings and laughter come in between can they say goodbye Sunday morning? After all, It really is shit timing.
I loved this book! It's a fast, sexy, funny, and sweet ride. I hope this series goes on forever! Hot novellas give me exactly what I need when I need it. A little heat and beauty within two hours...

Just like the ones that have proceeded it, this book is filled with intense sexual tension, humor, banter, and off the charts chemistry between a hot alpha male, and a sexy, sweet as pie, female. Max is the head lifeguard at Starfish Cove, but currently on probation after enduring an unfortunate accident that has left him a shell of himself. Usually the charismatic Max is swooning the ladies with his sexy smile and boyish charm, while saving lives and cruising the shoreline. Instead he's stuck supervising beach weddings and bonfires, bored out of his mind. That's until the dark haired, green eyed beauty catches his eye.

A Review of Rescued By The Bad Boy by Sylvia Pierce
Short and sweet - 5 stars
Another sweet and sexy book about the bad boy and the good girl that will have you laughing, crying and begging for more. Max is the head lifeguard for a resort on the California beachfront, dealing with his own demons from a death earlier in the year. He has basically been benched from doing his regular job and now has to do the job of a lackey. He is dealing with depression and guilt over a death, but having a really hard time with it.
Haley is there to stand up for her sister's wedding, with all activities of the weekend, along with the rest of her family. Oh, and her ex, who is the best man. He just doesn't want to be her ex and keeps hounding her. She catches Max's eyes on her throughout the first day, so she approaches him, asks if he is attached and when he says no, she lays one on him.
I loved the chemistry and banter between these two characters. They were refreshingly honest and up front with each other, that there were no strings attached, etc. But, fate stepped in and one thing led to another and Max ends up playing the role of her boyfriend for the weekend. Although this is a short book, we get a full storyline out of it and a HFN ending. I only hope that we get to see more of these two in future books.

The Bad Boys on Holiday series is FANTASTIC!! And this is another wonderful addition. They are all stand-alone, so pick your favorite setting or holiday and GO!
This one stars Max and Haley Marie. Max is a lifeguard supervisor who is currently on probation due to a tragic incident . They meet while Haley is attending her sister's wedding and needs a distraction from her ex boyfriend's advances. The way they meet is awesome - love to see a woman go after what she wants - and of course, when they are caught in a compromising position - Max improvises to save Haley's reputation - sigh!

This marks the current end of The Bad Boys on Holiday series, and I'm glad I picked it up. I completely love the title, because it gives the illusion of 'damsel in distress' but in actuality, Max+Haley are saving each other. It's a story about loving, or rather falling in love with someone who's unfinished, has flaws, but when they're with you, they bring out and encourage the best in you. It also helps that it has great smut!!!
Hopefully, Sylvia Pierce has another similar series in the works.

Well Max is one super HOT beach bum if I say so myself. Haley just happened to be in the right place at the right time to cross paths with him. I mean what is hotter then making out with a sexy lifeguard on a beach at night.......ohhh ummmmm doing the other dirty, crazy, fun things that Haley gets to do with Max. Tackled a lot in a short book. A full length novel probably would have done the story and the characters more justice, but it was still an entertaining read with an emotional punch. This is the 4th book in the series, and they are getting better and better.
