The setup of this story is interesting. The ending feels a bit hurry and overall plot familiar.

This book has succeeded in prompting me to think about how it feels like to be the last known terran, carried by different alien races in a quest for the missing terran colonist fleet. The tracking of traces and contest over the last terran to gain access to the rumored powerful fleet are fast paced and suspenseful.

However to give the story an epic ending, the author has added mysterious "entities" from other dimensions of which no explanation is given. I feel that an open ending might be better.

Imaginative, different and a thumping good read.
An intriguing premise, a unique collection of aliens and an adventure full of startling twists made this an enthralling read.
Another talented voice amongst the plethora of scifi writers. A very pleasing find and another new author to add to my favourites list.
Highly recommended.

Very good read

I love sci-fi but so much is just war, fighting aliens which I don't like and this one has much more of a story to it. Good read.

Good book. Lacking in quantity, but quality & theme were interesting. Not what I expected, but good nonetheless.

I liked it.

Great book. Great story, but I felt confused at times. One second he was doing something and the next he was doing something else with little to no transition. Overall the plot was great and I loved the characters and the science behind it.

quick easy read, entertaining, writing isn't fantastic with some cliched devices and story seems to be a combination of , the aliens are unimaginative and the science is definitely not hard by any means, the ending was pretty cheesy, but overall i enjoyed it, worth the money, and far more enjoyable than rewatching the same old tv shows because i'm too lazy to invest myself in a longer story. worth reading if you got hooked by the original reddit post just to flesh out the story but it's not revolutionary

Great book

I read a lot of sci-fi books and this book has a very interesting and novel take on the first contact theme. I normally don't like books written in first person but I feel like it really worked in this book.
