It felt like this story was told from the female leads pov even though it was supposed to be alternating pov. The premise itself wasn't bad but the execution was definitely left wanting. I read this as a bonus to Wanted which I did find to be more enjoyable and will most likely read more by this author in the future.
I have read quite a few books written by Minx Hardbringer and she writes wonderful fascinating stories. This story is a sensual romance and it is about Josie, who is a assistant to the band "Troubled Kids" and Zach, a lead singer in the band and a bad boy who is very interested in Josie. Other members of the band is Andy, bassist and childhood friend of Zach, Stephen is the lead guitarist and Marco is the drummer. This story has emotional drama, misunderstandings, camaraderie, spiraling emotions, a feisty woman that refuses to let a man take care of her, a man determined to get the woman and a conclusion that leave you very content. The characters are well developed, realistic with needs and desires. The story-line is well written and I would recommend this book to people that like to read a exceptionally good rock-star romance with a HEA.
This is a very good contemporary rock star romance. Zach is a "Rock" band superstar. He's the lead singer. The band gets a new assistant, Josie. Josie is dedicated to making it herself in the music management business. When she meets Zach she believes his 'Rock star persona' is really him but she learns the truth. The author did a good job on this short story.
