C.A. Harms is one of my absolute favorite authors to read. The reason that she is one of my favorites is very simple. I can always count on her to draw me in from the very beginning.

This story picks right up from the last book left off and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Josh and Gabby are looking forward to the birth of their baby but are also super aware that Leo is not going to leave them alone.

Revenge has it all. It has a love story for Josh and Gabby but also intense action that you are literally going to be anxious while reading to see how it all plays out. I loved not only Josh and Gabby but all the side characters. The epilogue had me smiling throughout! What a great ending to a great series!

The conclusion to the series is nothing short of intense. Months of fear and uncertainty have strained everyone to the max and as Gabby gets closer to the end of her pregnancy all that stress is definitely not making things any easier for her. Meanwhile Leo is taunting them more and more.

Josh is determined to get Leo, but as time goes by with each new lead it becomes more clear than ever that unless he wants to be found it'll be nearly impossible to find him.

Mistakes. Will one mistake take everything away that Josh holds dear or will one mistake finally bring Leo's rein of terror to an end?

Gabby and Josh have gone through so much. We've seen them both grow whether they are apart or together. Determination is what keeps them both going and I love seeing how they both always push through it all to find their way back to each other.

This ending is dark and gritty and packed full of action and emotion taking you on an amazing ride you won't want to get off.

Revenge is the third book in the Phoenix Undercover series by C.A. Harms. This book is not a standalone and should only be read if you have read the previous two books as it is the continuation of Josh and Gabby's story. After reading the first two books, I couldn't wait to see how things would play out here for these characters and it was good to see all of them again in Revenge. There were times here that I was frustrated, but ultimately this was a good conclusion to this series.

After all that they have been through Gabby and Josh are together and planning for their future. But while they were moving forward with their lives Josh's undercover case put not only Josh and Gabby in danger, but the life of their unborn son. Determined to do whatever it takes to keep his family safe, Josh throws himself into his work in order to finally take down Leo. But as determined as Josh is to find Leo and protect his family, Leo is just as determined to finally get his hands on Gabby once and for all. Can Josh save both Gabby and his son before it is too late, or will Leo finally get what he has been after all along?

I have to admit that I was really upset with Josh for the majority of this book. While the feelings between Gabby and Josh were still there and as strong as ever, Josh all but abandoned Gabby and his unborn child here. He threw himself into the case and got so caught up in taking Leo down that he seemed to neglect Gabby and his family. The connection between them seemed to suffer a bit, and I think that was due to the fact that these two spent almost this entire book apart or with a ton of distance between them. I got that the situation was dangerous and that his job was important, but I just felt like there was this huge disconnect here and the spark between them had been dimmed compared to the previous books.

While I was a bit disappointed with Josh and how things went for him and Gabby throughout this book, I did like how things ended up. It was great to see things wrapped up for these characters as well as see some familiar faces with Josh's friends and Gabby's family. I liked them a lot and while at times I did feel like they took over a bit, I felt like they were important to the story. I was still a bit torn on Gabby's sister Audrey because while I wanted to like her and forgive all that had happened, the situation from the first book has never completely left my mind. But I did feel like Gabby and Josh belonged together after everything, so I was glad that they were able to work through everything that had happened. While I liked the conclusion to this story, I didn't love it. I would rate this one somewhere between 3.5 and 4 stars because I just couldn't help but feel like Josh really acted poorly here, despite his intentions. While I have liked this series and thought that the potential was there, I will admit that it wasn't my favorite from C.A. Harms. It is still worth the read (as are all her books), but I just felt like this one wasn't quite what I had hoped for to close out the series. I am hoping that C.A. Harms will give us more of Gabby's sisters, I would especially love to see more for Brooklynn. I am really loving where things were with her here, and think that there is definitely more story to tell there. I really do enjoy everything I read from C.A. Harms though, and I recommend giving her books a shot if you haven't already.

Josie's Review 4.5 STARS

Please read Lies and Chaos books 1 and 2 of the Phoenix Undercover Series prior to reading this review, my review might contain spoilers to anyone who has not read this series.

I have been waiting to get my hands on Revenge for a while and as soon as it hit my Kindle there was no stopping me. I love how C.A. Harms has written this series and I really loved how she closed out this series. There was no question left unanswered for me and the emotional rollercoaster ride was just as hectic and nerve wracking as the first two books. The third book in this series is handled a little bit differently. Instead of just getting the dual POV’s of Josh and Gabby, this book gives us a third POV, Leo’s. Getting his POV only added to the allure, drama and fascination. This book is a quick read, but it was intense. There was so much this author delivered to readers that it left me unable to walk away – suspense, betrayal, a new life, love and depression, it was all there.

Months after the disappearance of Leo, the gang has been living on edge, Josh especially. Josh loves Gabby with everything in him but knowing that she is carrying his son, his feelings are more intensified with his need to keep his family safe. Josh spends so much time trying to locate Leo, but Leo seems to be always be one step ahead of Josh and his crew. Reading how Josh’s mind feels about Gabby and his role in endangering her killed me. He has an enormous sense of guilt that instead of walking away from a very dangerous job, he choose his career instead. He constantly battles with those feelings and feels that he failed her. The stress of not finding Leo and Gabby’s high risk pregnancy adds a lot of strain to their relationship.

Gabby is still a very strong woman, but in this book she is also fragile. Leo lurking and wanting to take Gabby has her on edge. Josh’s behavior and demeanor has also adds to her stress. She struggles with Josh not being there emotional and physically. The constant fear and Leo’s cryptic messages leave her on edge.

Josh and Gabby have a love that even and man as demented and vile as Leo can’t damage. Leo’s is one sick dude, let me tell you. The few glimpses we get on this man gave me chills. We watched Gabby and Josh go through so much in this series, but when they experience a betrayal from someone close to them, it just might costs Josh everything. One thing that sets Leo, Josh and Gabby apart is the innocent pure and powerful bond of love and a willpower so strong that Leo’s sick and twist games can never break down. There is just so much about this book that I loved. If you are a fan of this series then you need to grab this book. You will not be disappointed with this very exciting, sinister and gritty and conclusion to Gabby and Josh’s story. If you are new to this author then take a chance on her and grab the first book. You will not be sorry.

This is the 3rd and final book of Josh and Gabby’s love story. I really do recommend that you read the previous books in the Phoenix Undercover series so you can have a better understanding of what happens in this book.
In the final book, Leo makes his big mark in this story. Leo is ready to take his revenge and make Gabby his. He wants to make Josh suffer and has everything and everyone in place ready to do this. Leo finds he wants to keep Gabby for himself and has come to desire her.
Josh is doing everything he can to keep Leo from Gabby and their baby. He loves Gabby so much and is willing to die to prevent Gabby from being taken, but roadblocks are being put in place-and then the worst thing- betrayal from when you least expect it which causes evil to get in and weaken the defense that Josh had that protected his love and poof , Gabby is gone.
Josh is devastated and is not sure what else to do or where to look; Gabby is with a psychopath. Gabby is keeping the memories of her time with her loves to keep her going. The way back to each other is paved with angst, pain and fear but also with love, determination, and action.
I loved this final book because even though there is so much dark tones in this book, there is so much love between Josh and Gabby and how they fought to be with each other. This is one book that you do not want to miss out on, because the ending is one kick a&& ending.

My rating: 4.7 stars *****

Revenge is the conclusion of Josh and Gabby's story.

Leo steps up his game and turns Josh's world upside down. Moments that should be happy ones are turned into struggles they will have to overcome.

CA Harms did a beautiful job bringing this story to life. It is an intense, emotional and a fierce love story that had me grabbing for the tissues and left a warm feeling in my heart for the love of this amazing couple!

This was an excellent conclusion to the story of Josh and Gabby. In it, we're reminded of little pieces along their journey: how they met, how Gabby felt when he was gone, how Josh felt when he came back. These two are finally on the path to forever it seems, but Josh's case is still feeling dangerously close to home.

We start this third part in a suspenseful action scene that will happen later. Much later. But it's just enough foreshadowing for the reader to know -- the fears Josh has? He's completely right in having them. Gabby is now super-pregnant and on bedrest, bringing out that sassy side of hers. I absolutely loved Josh and his love for Gabby in this book. Josh does go down some dark roads, though -- dark roads that may alter the future for them.

Our side players, again, are a hoot. Josh's partners are hooking up with Gabby's sisters, and I have to say... Brook and Gray are absolutely hysterical. I loved the taunting and teasing that goes on in this house with two partners and two Shannon sisters. Absolutely loved it.

Because I gave the other two books five-star ratings, and felt that this was the best conclusion the story could get, and I loved it, I went with a five-star this time too. However.... there were a few writing style issues I had in this book that I didn't in the previous two. Still though. My favorite C.A. Harms series, the one I looked forward to the most. I can't help but kind of wish we'll go back a little and watch his partners fall for their own Shannon girls.

Holy *$%*$*%( Smokes. Right so after waiting a few after reading this book, I had to gather my bearing before I could even write down my thoughts. You won't find a plot synopsis or any spoilers from me because this is one of those books that is best going in blind and hanging on for one he!! of a ride but the sweet ending is finally on its way.

This author is a favorite of mine. She continues to amaze me with each book but this one right here... her best to date and definitely one I will continue to follow. This author took me... chewed me up, spit me out and did it all over again by the end of this book. Full of steam, suspense, and edge of your seat moments, we are here for our final ride.

This is the final piece to Gabriella and Joshua's story. What should be the happiest times in their life is turning into a disaster. They are going to have to fight. Their journey has been long, hard, and full of grit. But even in the darkest times, the sun eventually shines. Can Josh and Gabriella continue their love story or will it be taken away too soon?

I highly recommend this series!

So I know I’ve said this before, but I am a huge C.A. Harms fan. I have read most of her work and Revenge did not disappoint. The writing, the development of the characters and the conclusion was everything I hoped for.

The constant living in fear for Gabby and Josh was palpable. I could feel the tension and strain through the pages. I was extremely impressed with how patient Gabby was with Josh’s obsession to find Leo. There were times I could feel her loneliness and despair, but she stayed strong and leaned on her sisters. Josh was so determined to protect Gabby and their baby that he ended up obsessed and distant. I get it, but I’m glad he had his fellow agents; friends really, pull his head out of his ass every now and again.

This story was suspenseful and dramatic. There were twits that made me want to throw my kindle and some super-hot scenes that made me want to stand in front of a fan for a bit. Whew. Loved it.

They were always looking over their shoulders. Living in fear and waiting for the ball to drop. Josh will do anything in his power to ensure the safety of his family but the devil is watching and Josh finds himself a step behind on every turn.

After the way Chaos ended, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Revenge. From the prologue, I just knew that this story was going to be intense. I was not disappointed. CA Harms drew me in and I couldn’t put this book down until I finished. Revenge is fast paced with a little angst. There were plenty of “oh ****!” moments. I couldn’t imagine being in the situation that Josh and Gabriella found themselves in. I could really feel the guilt and torment that Josh was going through while trying to protect his family. I’m so proud of the way Gabriella handled herself when things took a turn for the worse. She could have easily given into her fate but she continued to fight and I loved that. This was a great conclusion to their story and I look forward to reading what CA Harms comes out with next.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, secrets, grief, lies, suspense, twists & turns and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Lies (Phoenix Undercover #1)
Chaos (Phoenix Undercover #2)

This is the conclusion of Gabriella and Joshua’s story. Josh and Gabriella are planning their future but as the same time in fear about Leo. You can feel Josh pulling away in order to devote his time to taking down Leo. Josh is doing everything he can in order to take Leo down but is it enough? Leo is determined to get to Gabriella and will do everything he can in order to get her. Can Josh protect his family or will he lose them both to Leo? Will this family survive or will Leo finally take away everything Josh loves?

I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

Phenomenal conclusion to Gabby & Josh's story. This book was nothing short of intense from start to finish. As Gabby gets closer to the end of her pregnancy the stress levels she is under due to the undercover work Josh had done is taking its toll on her. Josh is determined to take Leo down in any way shape or form but when every new lead puts them against a brick wall will he give up the chase?

After finishing Chaos I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book and once again I was not disappointed. So if you have not read the first to books Lies & Chaos stop right now back track and get those books. This is one series by CA that you do not want to miss.

Can Josh keep his family safe or will Leo's reign of terror on them take it all away?

What a ride this was. EVERYONE has been living in fear and on edge because of Leo. Gabby's health and that of their unborn baby is at risk. Josh is so focused on protecting his family, he has tunnel vision and that allowed something to happened that scared them all. There is no doubt the love these two have for each other, but will they get their HEA?! Guess you should read it to find out.

This book may be short, but don't let that fool you - we get a whole story here. Love, drama, suspense and I didn't guess who the accomplice was, so to me, that's good writing! LOL

What a Fantasic way to end my favorite CA Harms series
We have seen Gabby and Josh go through a lot in their relationship. But having to deal with the evil that is Leo was a huge test. He played all kinds of mind games with Josh regarding Gabby. And he truly did everything in his power to keep Gabby and their unborn child safe.
AND he did his best......What a great ending.

This author was new to me when I first read Lies but I'll definitely be reading more. I read all 3 books back-to-back because I was so engrossed and I enjoyed with the ending. I had guessed a couple of things in the first book that weren't actually revealed until the end of this book and that's usually kind of a bummer. That didn't matter here though, and didn't diminish my enjoyment of the series at all. This picks up right where Chaos left off and is full of action but Gabby and Josh finally get the HEA they deserve.

Revenge, Book #3 in the Phoenix Undercover by C.A. Harms was a suspenseful 5 star read.
I was so excited to finally get to read the conclusion to Gabby and Josh's story, and it was AWESOME.

Josh is continuing to protect Gabby and his unborn son from Leo. However he finds out in a scary way that his protection isn’t as great as he thought.Josh seems to be obsessed with protecting Gabby and she wants normal instead of living in fear.

“He was inside your bedroom while she was asleep”
The thought of that sick bastard in the same room as me, while I slept and dreamed of holding my child in my arms, made me sick to my stomach

I really don’t want to say anymore and reveal something I shouldn’t. All I can say is I LOVED this series and you definitely should read it from the beginning.
The secondary characters really added a great element to the story. I almost feel like we could see some more from these couples as well. C.A. Harms does a great job of telling the story and pulling you in. You won’t want to put it down once you start. We do get to see a HEA but not without challenges, that's for sure.

1-click and get started today. Thank you C.A. Harms for another great read. Could we possibly see an extension of this series into the sisters or Josh’s partners? (She asks with hope)

#1: Lies, #2: Chaos, #3: Revenge

It is saying something when the only thing you don’t like about a book is the cover…not that I am having a go or anything but the girl on the front is just not what I pictured Gabby to look like and seeing as she is pregnant in the book, the cover really bothered me.
But thankfully the story didn’t, so enough said. Straight off the end of Chaos, this is the book that I have been hanging out for, I really, really wanted Leo to get what was coming to him but CA Harms, you made us wait for it!!!
This couple have hit every bit of bad luck since the minute they met almost but I needed them to find a way out of it together , I had no idea just how complicated it was all going to be and how deviant Leo was.
The author dangled Leo’s cruelty and evilness like a carrot, leaving a little too much to my overactive imagination…I was frantic at more than one point in the book where I thought they were going to fall apart. But they needed to rid themselves of Leo, once and for all before they could finally have a future that they would have so richly deserved.
Josh was like a man possessed when it can to his pursuit of Leo, he understood completely just how lethal Leo’s fixation on Gabby was and how tragic the consequences of not catching him would be but with Gabby’s sisters, mother and father to help and the other guys in the squad standing by him, he is hell bent on tracking Leo down and ending their torment.
But when things take a turn for the worse, my heart went out to him, the emotional turmoil was excruciating!
One point…I thought the book wrapped up quite sharply, the source of the much needed information seemed to relent unexpectedly and that caught me by surprise. Not that I wasn’t glad she had but I didn’t see the build up to that turn around.
If ever a coupel deserved their happy ever after it was Josh and Gabby, they hadn’t cut a break the whole way through the series but with romance one the cards for Gabby’s sisters and some of Josh’s closet colleagues, I am keeping my fingers crossed that there may be a little bit more to come, I would so love to get a glimpse into the relationship between Brooke and Audrey because from the little bits that have popped up in the books to date, that pair have a whole lot going on that I would love to read!

Review:C.A Harms just does it again. This book grabs you,and you can't put it down until you turn the last page, and you're left wanting more!!

There's a seriousness to the story which is to be expected, but it's the humor between the friends that  makes this book a fun fast read.

Make sure to read books 1 & 2 before this one. I did feel a little lost because I hadn't read them. But I definitely enjoyed this book and can't wait to read books 1&2 of the series.

This book starts out with a scene that we left off with or saw in Phoenix Undercover #2. Leo chasing Gabriella. We see Josh's thoughts about how beautiful she is, and even more so as their child grows within her. What happened with Leo? What shoe are they waiting to have drop? What happens when Leo continues his mental assault on Josh and Gabriella? He keeps threatening that Gabriella will be his. Does he manage to take her? Who is helping him behind the scenes? It was not the person I would have thought it would have been. But it makes sense once you hear this person's story about how they got involved with Leo. The fact that he has contacts in the FBI, CIA, and police departments blew me away. When Gabriella is sleeping or trying to sleep one night, what happens? Where is she taken? What happens when they're having a baby shower after she's been moved to her parent's house under her father's watchful eye? What does this cause as far as a ripple effect? When Gabriella has a doctor's appointment, Audrey is supposed to join her. What happens? Why doesn't she show up? What happens at that appointment? I'm going to say this much, it ends on a very interesting note. I own't say if they do or do not get Leo and what happens as far as their attempts to get him. Enjoy the story! I did.
