this was intro, sex scene, cliff hanger go buy the book.. guess I must have missed this... I usually am better. It might be worth the book.. But I won't do it...
lord have mercy okay firstly, this is written in 3rd person. i usually struggle to read books written this way but this one was so EASY. it’s short, insta love, cliffhanger and ONE SINGLE SMUT SCENE. i wanted to give this more than 3 stars but oh my life the sex scene made me cringe SO FLIPPING HARD. like the over description of her nipples and ‘his cock began filling again’ FILLING?!? never heard that word used to describe a man’s cock getting hard before. so yea, it was a sweet pallet cleanser but it made me CRINGE 😖
Lucia Jordan's "Perfect F*ck" delivers a tantalizing mix of passion and transformation, crafting a story that's both steamy and heartwarming. After a tumultuous divorce from her celebrity-chef ex-husband, Hannah Newsome seeks a fresh start that leads her to an unexpected yet exciting opportunity.
Hannah, a professionally trained chef, takes on a job cooking for a mountain logging camp, a decision that propels her towards a new beginning. Her journey is enriched by meeting Lucas Coleman, the camp's brawny and charming owner. From their first encounter, Lucas's muscular build and genuine personality captivate Hannah, sparking an undeniable attraction.
The relationship between Hannah and Lucas is the novella's highlight. Their chemistry is immediate and intense, with Lucas’s protective nature complementing Hannah’s resilience. As their connection deepens, Hannah's past and the challenges of mountain life threaten to overshadow their budding romance. The arrival of an unexpected guest at the camp further complicates their dynamic, adding suspense to the narrative.
Jordan’s writing style is engaging and evocative, drawing readers into the rustic, picturesque setting of the mountain camp. The story balances romance and tension, with a perfectly timed pacing that keeps readers invested from start to finish. The single steamy scene is well-placed, enhancing the story without overshadowing the emotional depth of Hannah and Lucas's relationship.
"Perfect F*ck" is more than just an erotic romance; it’s a story of renewal and the courage to embrace new beginnings. Jordan handles these themes with skill, making the novella both enjoyable and emotionally satisfying.
In conclusion, "Perfect F*ck" is a captivating novella that blends romance, passion, and emotional growth. Lucia Jordan has crafted a delightful story that promises more excitement in the rest of the series. If you're seeking a quick, steamy read with heart and substance, this book is a must-read.
Nope just take a pass. I get insta love. You fall in love with a dream and then hopefully you fall in love with the real person after. It's the adult version of teenage crushes. Insta trust is something much more unlikely. The love scene is awful just straight up bad. At no point would I ever call that foreplay let alone good foreplay. And then there is no complete plot. Just pass on this one and pick up Badd Muther**cker instead. It's everything you hoped this one would be.
Hate to be continued with no option to stop as a stand alone.
I liked the start both divorced no holds bar. But hate books that are not stand alone and let the reader choose to continue reading the series of they want to or not. I won't buy the next book because you want to force me to. To bad because you sound like a great writer and is enjoy more of your completed books but won't be looking for them.
This short love story is a very satisfying read. The title is just the beginning. Hannah and Lucas are starting as employee/employer who have an immediate attraction. I liked how tender and subtle Lucas is towards Hannah. He let her know in know in clear terms what he wanted, not just working relationship. She is definitely on the same page. The logging mountain is an excellent setting. More to come in the next book obviously.
Hannah should wonder did the boss get Lucky, or is it love at first sight?Lucas is already falling for her but, will he keep her? Who is it that just pulled up?,& will it change everything?
I giggled and I know it’s bad, this was just too cheesy. The gushing cat, and vibrating stomach were too much. Word choice left a lot to be desired. It was just a really awkward read. 1 star for the cover.
Fun short read. The author was able to develop the characters quickly making me feel like I really knew them. It ended on a cliffhanger that left me wanting to push purchase for the rest of the series. Recommend
This book isn't fonished. It's just a teaser and when I purchase a book, I expect an ENTIRE book. Not just a couple of chapters. Well written, but unfinished.
Surprised, this “book” was okay. The story was interesting and I actually want to read more after that Cliff hanger ending. Sex scenes were….odd, didn’t feel “normal” or “real”
The cover is hot so it is getting an extra half star, but the story itself gets a 1.5 star rating. This is the story of Hannah Newsome and Lucas Coleman. Hannah has just accepted a job as a camp cook at Coleman and Sons Timber, owned by Joseph Coleman. Lucas Coleman is the owner's son and the foreman at the camp.
There was an instant attraction to Lucas the first time Hannah saw him and it only intensified when she had to ride with him to the camp site for a 4 hour drive. During the drive they talked about life, their failed marriages, their families, and even told a glimpse of their sex life. They definitely got comfortable with each other. On her first night at the site they end up sleeping together and then the book basically ends.
This story was not believable to me. I didn't feel that Lucas as attracted to Hannah at all. I didn't feel the chemistry between these two characters. While they conversed, it seemed as if he was taking to her as he would a co-worker. It was evident they was comfortable around each other, but not enough to have slept together the first night. He wanted to get to know her after basically knowing her for a second. They even started to kiss and hold hands like they were in a relationship. This happened before they slept together!!! It just happened so fast. The author was forcing it. Just from this aspect the story went nowhere for me.
I did learn a few things about the characters, but not enough for me to continue to care for the story. Hannah was in a controlling marriage and she was using her new job to get away and start over. She was not over her ex-husband's controlling ways. She always had that experience in her mind and would make comparisons between Lucas' behavior and her ex-husband's. How is that going to affect her relationship with any man? Lucas was very open for a male character. However, Lucas is a man married to his job.
The plot left nothing to be desired. The author tried to leave it on a cliffhanger but it was a failed attempt. I world not recommend this story.
When Hannah decides to start a new life after her divorce she takes on the job of camp cook at a logging camp, totally different from her old life. Meeting the owner's son, Lucas, she finds her mind on more than cooking. Instant attraction draws the two together, working closely to feed the crew, Hannah quickly succumbs to his charms and a little bondage. Cute start to the series, can't wait to see what comes next.
I found that this book as the beginning of a series is just like part one. It jumped right in a little too quickly for my taste but man was it H. O. T! So damn sexy I felt buttered up then let dry as the story suddenly ended and left me needing the next part like I needed my next breath. But not sure it's safe to have that much hotness at once. At least not safe for our husbands/ boyfriends ;) !
A new job. A new beginning. She wanted to start over. After divorcing her domineering husband she took a job up in the mountains. Feeding guys who cut down trees for a living. Away from the familiar. Her new boss was all muscles and had that sexy voice that made you want to eat him alive.
