Rate this book
Maggie James spent years all-consumed by her wedding photography business, hiding out from love after a painful breakup. When fellow photographer and consummate rogue Simon Walker came into her life, she held him at arms length to protect her fragile heart from being broken again. But after discovering how he selflessly helped her business in a very big way and admitting her mistaken assumptions about him, she is finally ready to give him a chance. Will fear keep her from truly opening her heart to him? Or will secrets tear them apart?

From small town Michigan to the sunny shores of Malibu, California, Maggie and Simon must navigate their budding relationship, survive family drama, and come face to face with the past to see if their faith and ever growing love are enough to get them to forever.

Thank you to the author, Krista Noorman, for gifting me with a copy of Hello, Forever in exchange for an honest review!

1.  The characters.  We already know these characters from the previous book, Goodbye, Magnolia, so I strongly recommend reading that book first before diving into this one.  With that being said, there isn't much character building that needs to be done in this novella but I really appreciated the extra effort the author put in to really flesh out these characters and keep their humor and dialogue patterns consistent with the heart of the character.

2.  The plot.  This is an unapologetically romantic book focused pretty solely on the romance at hand.  I have to say, I didn't mind the whole plot being centered around the romance because it was such a short and sweet novella.  Yes, the romance is structured around their lives and regular life problems pop up, but for the most part, the author kept it sweet and simple which makes for a stunningly cutesy novella.  The plot is also surprisingly addicted.  While I enjoy a good love story, if it goes on for a while, I tend to lose interest and investment in the characters.  However, the author kept the complications rolling and every scene is interesting and makes you want more.  I read this all in one shot and I don't regret it one bit!

3.  The romance.  Going deeper into detail with the romance, I loved every minute.  The one thing that I love most about this author's writing is how real everything is.  There are real life insecurities and real life problems/complications which makes everything so relatable which includes the romance.  This novella gives us a peek into the early days of Simon and Maggie's relationship which is sort of glossed over in the other two books so I truly enjoyed reading about how Maggie and Simon's relationship developed.

The Final Verdict:
Overall, a stunningly cutesy novella with strong ties to the reality of innocent romance in contemporary society.

Hello, Forever is a little peek into the relationship of Maggie James and Simon Walker. These are the main characters from the book Goodbye, Magnolia. I highly recommend that you read Goodbye, Magnolia first and then, once you have totally fallen in love with these characters like I did, head on over to Hello, Forever and watch as they work through their first weeks as a couple. It is so very worth it.

I loved getting to see deeper into Simon and Maggie’s relationship! This story, as well as Goodbye, Magnolia, is told from Maggie’s perspective. But I really enjoyed that Hello, Forever contained snippets from Simon’s thoughts at the beginning of some of the chapters. It made the story extra special.

I enjoyed this novella from the first page to the last, and recommend the entire series!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is a 2nd book of this series and have enjoyed them both. I'm a natural crier so I have learned to keep the tissues nearby as I am sucked into the life of the characters from the imagination of Kris Noorman. Completely enjoyed and now on to the next book in the Cornerstone Series ....

What I Loved: Is there anything greater than an author who listens to their fans and writes a book just to please them? But that's exactly what Krista Noorman did with Hello, Forever. She took a small moment from book one of the Cornerstone series, Goodbye, Magnolia, and expanded it bringing to us a novella with new drama, new hardships, and new romance. Noorman does a great job exploring what insecurities can do to a relationship and the type of struggle involved to overcome them. Fans of Simon and those who love to hate Maggie's ex, Ben, will gobble this one up because these two aren't finished fighting over Maggie. Hello Forever fits nicely between Goodbye, Magnolia and Until Then.

Rating and Recommendation: I recommend Hello, Forever and the rest of the Cornerstone series to anyone who enjoys Christian Fiction and I'm giving it 5 stars.

Simon, Maggie, Sarah, Ben - I love all these characters. I love getting to know them and their stories, and I was so happy to get Maggie and Simon's story in this book. We already know from previous books how everything turns out, but I appreciated going back in time to see just how their relationship grew in the early weeks. This book served to show just how strong and sweet their love is. This is a quick read, but I enjoyed every word of it. *I received a complimentary copy of this book*

A romance with a twist of real-life drama, involving an ex., Ben, coming into the picture to muddy the waters a bit. This book is a follow-up to Goodbye, Magnolia and a lead-in to the third, and final book in the series, which I definitely want to read as this novella ends with an unsolved question. I related somewhat to Maggie, but found both Simon and Ben rather annoying. I wasn't thrilled with the way both of them 'toyed' with Maggie's feelings, and in different ways, betrayed her.

I do have the boxed set of all three boxes but accidentally started this single novella ebook one night when I wanted a short read, not realizing that I had the full boxed set on my Kindle.

The reason I gave it 3 stars is because there’s too much physical touching and kissing. I get physical attraction, but in this book... they discuss boundaries at some point, but all the detailed scenes there make that discussion seem nonexistent. It’s like « oh, it is supposed to be a christian story, so let’s add the talk about boundaries, and once we have that we can do whatever... » . Otherwise it’s a nice story. I usually like the stories where heroes turn to God and find strength to be the best version of themeselves, they become courageous to live a life worth living, to tell the lie it’s a lie and to stick to what is true.

A wonderful continuation.

Goodbye, Magnolia was my favorite book from Krista Noorman. When I saw that Hello, Forever was a continuation of Maggie and Simon's story, I was thrilled! This book was so much fun to read. Krista did a wonderful job of combining a sweet, romantic story with the insecurities that come into play with a new relationship. I highly recommend the Cornerstone Series.

Hurt and paranoid by Ben's betrayal, Maggie carried this big chip on her shoulder over to her budding friendship then later~on romance with Simon, whom she perceived as a womanizer and selfish go~getter ever since their freshman year in college. Through out the length and breadth of this book, Maggie's suspicions predictably rear its ugly head which I find annoying after many instances of the same drama.

Insipid nothing

I was taught when you start a book, you must finish a book. Several years ago, I was told, life is too short to read trash. Yes, ironic, that a good clean book be called trash. So in the manner of the way this book is written, I shall pray that this author finds comfort, in learning a new craft.

Good reading, never know what is going to happen next!!

This is a romance story that keeps you guessing what is going to happen next. Rejection makes makes the heart grow fonder for Simon. Even though Mags will not have anything to do with Dimon

This book was so much fun to write. I loved spending more time with Simon and Maggie, seeing a little more of what makes Simon who he is and why he reacts to things the way he does.

Hello, Forever is the sequel to Goodbye, Magnolia, so I highly recommend reading that one first. ;)

Happy reading!
