This book was action packed , and very well written . The relationships were very emotional and very well done due to the understanding at the end . I Loved how you didn't really know who to trust but at the end you found out who was good . I loved the missions they went on , very nerve-racking . The ending absolutely destroyed me . Full on sobbing and frozen with shock for whole hour trying to wrap my head around it . Over all , the book was really good and would recommend it.

3.5 stars but I'll round up. It was a good and necessary follow up to The Runner and didn't fall victim to that middle book syndrome although I feel it dragged a little around the 75% mark. The characters are so well developed and it's refreshing to see a main character with noticeable flaws. Excited to read the next book when it's finished and see how it'll all be tied up.

From a world of dystopian novel growing dusty with similar plots, springs up this one, with a fresh outlook and new storyline. Interesting and riveting, this story has a unique charm to it.

The narrative is captivating and it contains all elements of a truly marvelous story.

The second book is a cross between dysropian YA and scifi. It starts feeling a little too stretched.

No surprise that the second book of this series was even more mind-blowing!
