In this delightful wild food cookbook daily forager Robin Harford covers over 35 plants with simple, easy to prepare recipes you can create in your kitchen.
Each plant is beautifully illustrated with a Victorian botanical wood block print.
Having foraged for his daily supper for over ten years, these recipes come directly from his kitchen and have been field tested by hundreds of people on his foraging courses.
This wild food recipe book is perfect for foraging enthusiasts everywhere.
Very interesting, and unlike a lot of wild foods cookbook where directions entail a handful of the plant and then about ten tons of cheese, milk and butter, this goes for spice, tomatoes, and the taste of the plant itself. Lots about pickles, syrups, vinegars and cordials too, which I like. Good read. Colour pictures would be the only improvement I'd make, easier to ID plants.
