Actually easier to read than the manual, that's for sure. It lacks the humor that is more apparent in other books in this series overall- it's a much quicker way to access info on this device. The addendum in the back with "extra" material is a must to go over as it has those secret extras that are actually pretty cool to know.
Not sure if this camera is much different than the previous model but having this one, I find that I will use this book over the manual as the go to for info first. (The book says to check the manual for specific things as there are some differences among the models it seems.)
If you have this camera is one of the best guides available without giving mind numbing technical details. Another book I read tried to teach me the electronics of the camera, which was like going to the dentist. If you have this camera get this book.
