Anya has lived a safe & privileged life. Her twin brother Jax is destined to be her protector, she's known no war, physical or emotional abuse, loss, or heartache in her 20 year life time. Anya was born as the North American alpha's daughter a wolf with witch blood in a time of peace to a loving family & a pack who treasures her gifts as a mate finder. With a clear destiny & the schooling to fulfill it thanks to her mother; the pack's beta having the same gift. Anya's only fear lie in her ability to fill her mother's legendary shoes as a the mate finder & her immediate goal is going away to University & enjoying some freedom. However Anya's happy & well adjusted life goes to shit when she meets her destined mate.
What I thought would be a light fluffy romance turned into ..... well ..... more. How much more you'd have to read the book to find out.
I rate this book a 3.5 & will continue this series.

If you're interested but worry you'll be lost bc you haven't read the series revolving around Anya's mother the mate finder, I'll relieve your worries by disclosing I haven't either. This series works wonderfully as a standalone. The events of the mate finder series act as "world history" they are disclosed but detailed knowledge is not necessary. If this is the only thing causing you to stay away I say throw caution to the wind lol besides it's currently free on KU.

I absolutely loved this book. I read it in one day while on a beach vacation. I just couldn't put it down. The story is fast paced and has everything I like in a story - romance, action, werewolves and a kick butt female lead. What I really liked about Anya was that she wasn't snarky or suffering from a huge chip on her shoulder. Some of the female characters that you read about today are unnecessarily rude or snarky when they are saving the day. Not Anya. She is likeable, loyal and takes her role in the pack very seriously. The main hero sounded super yum but never overshadowed the story. I experienced a range of emotions including getting choked up at one point during Anya's journey to find her true purpose. While the story ends on a bit of a cliffhanger I was fine with it because the main questions were answered. I can't wait for the next book in the series!!

Hello readers!

Adottato o no, saremmo finiti insieme, alla fine.»

Loved it the second time around.

I love this book and how it explores mother nature and spirituality that goes with it. I think it explores a different story line with werewolves too then most books. Give it a read it gets 5 stars from me.

Bentornate, Fenici!

Direi di no...

I was genuinely surprised by this story. I didn't think I would like it at all, in fact. I loved the Matefinder series for many reasons but wasn't looking forward to a branch off series like this.

I have to say, I'm happy I gave it a chance. There were a few grammatical errors that I would imagine, come from self publishing editing not always being the best.

There was a lot of character development for Anya. I was happy to read it because in the beginning she is very childish and I'm thinking to myself, wait a second, this girl is supposed to be 20? I felt like she acted like a privileged 15 year old at most, along with her brother but as I continued on I found that she started to mature and the store started to take form.

It took a little while for the story to really grab me but I'm glad I stuck it through.

I was a little disappointed with this one... I really didn't like Anya. I can't pin point why, but I think it's because her personality kind of... Changed ... Well a lot through the book. Also it felt like the author was trying to avoid explanations of constantly got Anya do be like.... Well I'm falling in love with him because I feel something humans don't understand so I'm going to sleep with him so there! Kind of idea.... She just really annoyed me. Which is funny because I LOVED everyone else. Especially jaxon and of course her mate... I even love all the other matefinder book! I just felt like a lot of this one was forced.... It was also very short and seemed very speeded through... Anywho, still a good read.

Not what I was expecting.

Keeper is book one in Leia Stone’s Matefinder Next Generation series. This series continues on 20 years after the Matefinder series ends and follows Kai and Aurora’s daughter Anya.

Anya is the next Matefinder, or so she is supposed to be, but seems Spirit has other plans for her. Dreaming of a human male for months may turn out to be her mate. But something is wrong with him, he is sick and may be dying. Will Anya be able to save him?

Anya has lived a safe and privileged life, with her twin brother Jaxon as he protector, with no war or trouble. Anya is the daughter to the North American Werewolf Alpha and second in command, she is a wolf with witch blood, like her mother. Anya's only fear lies in her ability to follow in her mother's shoes as the Matefinder. But her immediate goal is to go to University. But when she runs into her mate her plans for the future are changed.

I have to admit I’m not a fan of Anya, she irritates me with her attitude to following her mothers foots as being the Matefinder. Seriously get over it, your mother and father went through hell to give you the life you have. But I’m having trouble with the whole swapping abilities with Gavin. I’m not going to go through too much detail for this as it will ruin the book. She is the alpha and second in commands werewolf daughter and now she something different. Also the constant whining is frustrating. I love Jaxon, Gavin, Avery and Mason they are a great little group and make the book tolerable.

Finding Your Destiny & Then Discovering A Dangerous New World Has Arisen!💘😲💔
(Read using Kindle Unlimited)
Keeper (Matefinder: Next Generation #1)

Anya is a twin to one of the powerful Alpha werewolf parents in existence. She & her brother Jax have had an amazing life. She's always known she'll become a Matefinder, like her Mum & her twin will be her protector, it's their fate. She's been having dreams about a human male for months. He's gorgeous, he's got a muscular body & beautiful moss green eyes.🔥 When she wakes up from the dreams she's been hot, not in a sexy way, in a temperature way and wolves don't get ill. It's freaking her out!😔

This isn't anything like her Mums gifts, she's always had visions. So it's probably not related to her Matefinder gift. In exasperation her Mum decides, much to their Dad's annoyance, to take her to see the witches. Gretchen, the Coven leader, believes he could be ill & needs her help!🙏 She believes they'll cross paths naturally and soon!!😲

This was a really good read. I liked the characters & the premise. I've read the original series this is a spin-off from, so I feel really invested in all of the characters.😍 It could easily be read as a standalone series but I feel reading both gives it even more depth.👍 Its full of action & has some harrowing parts!💔 I'm really looking forward to reading more!🌟

Potential spoiler alert:

Anya It’s just a regular young adult, except she’s a member of one of the largest and strongest werewolf packs in the world, and she’s a next generation MateFinder, and charged with the survival of her species. Her entire life she knew her Destiny, but apparently destiny has different plans. Plans that include a saving the world And a super hot human With his own complicated path.

Strong Main female characters. Equally strong with supportive male supports. Light steam that moves the story along. End of the world scenario with realistic conclusions. True love. Addresses issues of identity and forging one’s own path.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. This is a second generation spin off series from the MateFinder series by the same author. While you could technically read the series independently, I think it would lack depth and some understanding of the complexity of the characters and their motivations.

“After months of dreaming of this guy, I find out he’s my True Mate, we’re destined to die together in four days, and now he was coming to live with me and my pack. Not exactly how I envisioned spending the summer before college.”

If read in the correct order this is a great continuation

I have to admit to a HUGE no-no, I started reading the continuation to the Matefinder books & I was sooo lost, I kept waiting for an explanation that never came? Why did it never come? Because, I, smart woman that I am finally looked up at the top of the page & found out I was reading part 2! So to cap that off, Read part 1 first! It goes much smoother 😀!
As for this book,it's just as great as the ones prior! I love the way Leia writes, it's not just a book so much as a story that needs to be told & this is something that she is able to do in a way that seems effortless.
I definitely encourage everyone who enjoys reading a story that takes you on the ride of your life, going through every emotion from happiness to anger, sadness to justice in a seamless, almost effortless way that you're pulled into the story - to read books by Leia Stone. Go to her website for the list of books to read - and remember, don't make my mistake, read from the beginning! It makes SO much more sense!

Anya was born in the wolf pack and the daughter of the Alpha and omega, her parents. She inherited her MateFinder from her mom and has been taught how it works throughout her growing up. These weird dreams she's been having the past few months seem very real to her. She wakes up in sweat and very hot to the touch.

Jax is a human and was adopted. He grows up thinking and feeling he was different from everyone else. He's been having some weird dreams as well and not sure what's going on. Eventually finds out he's not completely human.

Anya and Jax meet and things go down hill from their.

This book is intense, on the edge of your seat, page turner, action, mystery, a little romantic but not much and so much more.

4 stars because I'm not big on reading all the swear words. I'm just happy no f-bomb is in here. I pass the words or put my own words in for the swear words. I appreciate there are no sex scenes. You know there is something going on but the author doesn't go into alot of detail, which was wonderful.

On to the next book to find out what they are going to do next.

Loved The Next Generation!

Leia Stone has put just as much thought and creativity into this series as she does with every one that she writes ♡ The thing Ms. Stone pens the best is a strong lead female! Her ladies always have it together, or quickly figure things out. At the same time her heroines are tender and sympathetic while being fierce. They're not afraid to show their fear. I absolutely loved every twisty curve this novel took ♡♡♡ I cannot wait to begin the next book because things just exploded! It's always like going home when you read a totally new story and you get to revisit beloved characters.

Exciting

I really am enjoying this continuation of the Matefinder series. It’s original and exciting. I feel like the author improved on her writing since the Matefinder series as well. The first series read like a screenplay with all action and dialogue, and very little thoughts or descriptions. Not the case here and I’m very appreciative of her efforts to give us more “padding” to this awesome story. The book ended suddenly. I had not noticed that I was on the last page when suddenly I was looking at the Acknowledgments. Super excited to read the next book. Definitely recommend these series.

Wow....just wow.

If I thought it couldn't get better than the Matefinder series or the MECA series....I was sadly mistaken. Its like Leia Stone's brain is a magical place and I want to live there forever. I jaut cant imagine all the many scenes that go through her mind. I absolutely love this authkr and for anyo e who is on the fence about reading this series just dive in. We get to see Kai and Aurora again. Along with other charachters from the first series. But now with the second generation old enough to take hold of their destiny in life comes new battles they must defeat if they ever want to live peacefully. You will love this series.

OMG it's war!!!!

Why are the human attacking the werewolves? Is the government backing this? What can the wolves do to protect themselves? This is a sequel series to the best-selling series Matefinder. It takes place 20 years in the future and centers around their twins, Jaxon and Anya. They always assumed that they would carry on their parents legacy but Spirit has another path in store for them. When Anya's mate is revealed d everything gets turned upside down. Come join them in their search for a peaceful solution to the brink of war they are hovering on now. Highly recommended.

I actually liked this series. I love when stories continue and you see how there life has been. So I was excited to read. But I will say that I don't agree and I think they are wrong to say this is a stand alone book when it's not. There is a second book. And they also say that you don't need read the matefinder books when you do if you want to truely know who is who and not have and spoilers you need to read the Matefinder series before this one!
Spoilers***
It was fun and exciting reading about her mate and the new twists in the book. It was cool to hear more about the Shamans. And the trouble with the humans, it actually doesn't surprise me that they would see if there was a way to cute human disease.

Keeper is an engaging book from the first chapter until the end. Something in the story always piqued my interest, and I can't stop reading about Anya's adventures. Unravelling the mystery man in her dream and then her spiritual journey that will completely change her life forever.

I am pleased with the story because it is not often that a spin-off of a series involves the characters from the previous series. This book is so different, and I’m thankful for that because I’ve missed reading the badass characters.

It's just a shame that the story is short. Otherwise, it would be a five-star book!

The Mount Hood Pack is back but this time to follow the steps of the next generation. You get to see all the characters you loved from the Matefinder series but they take the back seat while their children are the main characters in this book. This book is fast paste and very easy to read. Again, Leia Stone does not disappoint with her creativity. This time, Humans and a new mystery supernatural are the enemies. No Vampires in this book but they are mentioned. However, you get to learn more about the Shaman’s, which I find fascinating.

Another brilliant book by Leia Stone!! What would you do if your one true love was in danger of dying? Anya has discovered the other half to her soul but she stands to lose him quickly. She will go to the ends of the earth and fight through anything to hold onto the one that she holds so close to her heart.

This is one of the best paranormal stories I've read in a long time. Love, death, danger and little bit of possible extinction thrown in. Who could want more. I cannot wait for the next book to come out!! 5 stars!! My favorite so far!

Great start

Completely amazing. What a great way to start to Anya's story. She has had a wonderful childhood which has prepared her for an extremely difficult time of her life. So many ups and downs. I like her character and strength which is supported by her family. Gavin makes a nice twist to the story and hopefully he will have a bigger spotlight now that they have found each other.

The previous story doesn't have to be read first but I think it enhances this story well.

I loved the Matefinder series when I read it a few years ago but was hesitant to read this one so soon after the original. I needed to be able to separate the 20 years and move on from my original characters to their children. That being said, this story was decent. I love the dynamic of the leia’s wolves and how she creates her characters.

I was enjoying the story until the plot twist between Gavin and Anya switching destinies. I did not like that one bit. I feel like it took something away from the rest of the story. So far I just feel like this just isn’t as powerful as the original.

Love that this series continues from the matefinder series and we get to learn about what the pack has been up to the last 20 years. Kai and Auroras twins turn out to be awesome adults and have super cool gifts. Anya, the next matefinder, finds her mate but it may be too late to save him from a mysterious illness. So many creative twists and such a fun writing style, I can't put these books down until I get through the whole story!

Very good spinoff series

I loved the original series about Aurora and Kai so I was a little apprehensive about the Next Generation. I love this one too. The Skin Walker brings all new problems along with humans dissecting the shifters. It's a little intense but very entertaining to read. Anya and Gavin start out completely different from previous mated pairs. They have their own obstacles to get through.

This book was pretty good because it had good twists that I did not expect to see from this book I have to say this story was more about explaining of who and what they were and about finding each other I did not mind this because usually, books like this can be boring yet this book still had excitement and also did not feel completely rushed. I would recommend this book for someone that enjoys a supernatural/soulmate/action story.
