Ladies, it can’t get much hotter than that! This man has a seriously wicked mouth on him, which coupled with the way he wholesomely gives his heart to her, it’s impossible to resist!



They both are so incredibly sweet with Sophia, together they form the most adorable family! And if he has his way, it will keep growing and growing… ;)

This ending left us on our toes, and I can’t wait to read the next book and see what Nic will do, and this family get their HEA! June 6 can’t come fast enough! ♥♥♥

Having enjoyed 'Deception' it's onto the middle part of the story and 'Danger' again it's an enjoyable read but...
Firstly Nic is possessive to the point of crazy he won't even let Sophia's doctor shake Anna's hand. In the first section of this story his possessiveness seemed quite cute and adorable but now it's starting to feel just a little too much.
Now while this is very much Nic and Anna's book I was hoping for something (even just a paragraph) on Nic and Sophia's mother, how did they meet, what was their relationship like, did he love her, did he get her pregnant on purpose?
I just felt that for both Nic and Anna a little background would have helped make them fuller characters and maybe we'll get that in 'Devotion' but considering it's only 52 pages long and there's the cliffhanger to sort out I'm not really expecting it.
While I enjoyed this if I'm being honest I didn't like it as much as 'Deception' but it's onto 'Devotion' for me now.

I am totally loving this series. Nic is one hot ott bossy alpha. He knows what he wants and gets it. He loves Gianna and is not going to let her get away from him because she found out he is the leader of the mafia. Gianna is sweet and caring. She loves Nic and Sofia and they make an adorable little family. I wish it was longer and not in 3 parts. Hate waiting for the next installment!

I am loving this series and I adore Nic. He is so obsessed with Gianna and what an amazing father he is. I loved how Gianna's parents were so accepting of him because they could see his love for their daughter. And little Sophia is so cute and sweet. Can't wait for the conclusion.

Nic, the Hero is just as (if not more) possessive in this 2nd book and its nice to see a heroine that is possessive too.

However, I have to say a heroine who only thinks with her vagina is one of my biggest pet peeves. It actually makes it harder for me to continue reading.

So our heroine finds out our Hero is a mobster, mind you from someone else by accident Hero hadn't told her yet. So upon realizing the man she fell in love with and slept with is a mobster she gets mad for oh about 10 seconds (eye roll) before he seduces her into multiple orgasims BUT once shes achieved optimum level orgasims she remembers to be mad because hes a mobster. I've read many books that have scenes similar to this and have DNF many due to this sorta thing, yet have not read many where the Hero thinks with his dick and not his brain and aren't they the more horny gender? I love a heroine who loves and is loyal to the Hero but please one touch and shes wet as a puddle, I can't say how much that bugs me!!

Then poor Sophia is in the hospital and because the staff is doing their job by not letting Anna into see her and Nic, Anna has a major bitch moment and growls (yes authors words) that they will take her to see her fiance immediately unless they want the wrath of the DeLuca family! What happened to poor horny Catholic Anna?! (Eye roll again)

I'm not exactly sure what Nic sees in Anna.

Will I read the next one? Probably! To see how it ends but moreso because its on kindle unlimited.

The second installment of the "Mafia Ties" trilogy further develops Nic and Gianna's relationship, including his helping her accept his position as boss of the local mafia. For such short novellas, Fiona Davenport manages to pack a lot of emotion and sexiness in - it was just what I was looking for!

"We'll talk," he promised, his hand sliding under my robe and up my inner thigh. "After."
"After?" I stuttered, my breath hitching when he sank two fingers inside me.
"After you come on my hand, in my mouth, and on my cock."

This one ends as Gianna is abducted by a rival family shortly after they discover that she's pregnant.

Anna is quickly learning about Nic's life in the mafia. Although weary of his ties, she can't help falling head over heels for Nic and his daughter. When his daughter becomes ill again, Anna finds a strength she didn't know she posessed and proves she was meant to be his. However a war between two families and it is putting Anna and his family in danger.

Great second book in the trilogy. I liked how the characters evolved and Anna did stand up to Nic and was not overly passive. Cliffhanger.

I jumped right into this book after I finished book one. Book two starts right where book one ends. Our heroine Anna just found out something huge, what Nic's job is. This book (serial/?) was fun like the first book, and it was also quick like the first book. I am enjoying this series/serial and again have jumped right into book three after this book was done. I will say the heroine is a little naive and everything is very quickly ok(Cue the Phineas and Ferb guy who pops in to say OK) but with how these books are written it didn't bother me and I took this series for just being a sweet light read, and nothing to look to deeply into and say well that would happen like this, or in real life..... Over all a fun summer read. And just like book one the hero Nic is OTT, which is something I never get enough of.

Well these two brilliant minds are at it again and boy did they deliver the goods. Danger is book two in their new Mafia Ties series. Going into this book, I was expecting big things after the ending in book one and they definitely didn't disappoint. Fiona Davenport has become a quick go-to author for me since her Risque series and this series might be my favorite yet.

Danger, part two, is an over-the-top, sexy, sweet, quick, and dirty read that will leave you gasping for air and begging for more when the last word is read. I devoured this book in one sitting and was ready for the next by the time I got to the end. This book does end on a jaw-dropping cliffhanger. Get ready to swoon hard and fall into insta-love with sexy, alpha Nic!

This is the continuation of Nic and Anna's story. They fell hard and fast but danger is lurking, hiding, waiting to reveal itself. Nic and Anna love each other so much but will it be enough? Or will someone get to Anna when Nic least expects it? And with drama unfolding in their personal lives, these two are in for an emotional journey. Hang on for a bumpy ride.

I highly recommend this book.

Book 2 really had nothing. Anna just accept what Nic was and then they had sex. There is a cliffy, but it has nothing to do with the relationship.

The "relationship" between Carly and Nic is weird. I am not sure if Carly is in her 20s or 40s. Nic is very protective of her.

I don't think I will be reading book 3. There is no relationship drama or any angst. The relationship is pretty straight forward. Except for Nic's mob work, there is nothing more to his relationship with Anna. Sophia's mom is not in the picture. Anna really does not get upset about anything. She loves Sophia and Nic so there is nothing except her getting caught up in his line of work. Even though Nic is a single dad, there is no baby mamma drama.

You won't find a super plot or out of this world moments here, this is a light-fast paced reading. It's just what I was looking for. And I'm loving it. NICCOLO is life. He is so good, like so fucking GOOD, if you know what I mean, LOL. Gianna, I like her. If I compared her with the last heroine I read, she is perfect.

I have been kidnapped. So I'm waiting for NICCOLO to come rescue me. Meantime, I will be reading book 3. See you after that.

If you haven’t read Deception then stop right now. Danger can NOT be read as a standalone. These are novellas so please go read Deception before beginning Danger. Trust me. If you are a fan of insta love, mafia, alpha males and innocent females this series is one you won’t want to miss.

Nic and Gianna, Anna to the rest of us, pick up right where Deception ends. No there isn’t a true cliffhanger in the original sense of the word. Each does end but it is because their story isn’t finished yet but their relationship is not in question. Danger not only shows what danger Anna is in but what Nic’s daughter is going through as well, and yes read the books to find out since I am not telling you.

The way this one ends has this book whore on the edge of her seat needing to know not only how Nic is going to respond but what else is in store for him and his Gianna. These novellas are a great way to spend a couple hours on weekend and I am looking forward to the next one as well.

Before she could get the full explanation, Sophia falls ill and that becomes everyone's number one priority.

I can’t seem to stop myself from reading anything and everything by these amazing authors. I want it all. Every last word. Not sure how I over looked their mafia series but, sis, I am all over it. Reading well past my bedtime and waking up way too early to finish the first 3 in this series. Absolutely inhaled it. Couldn’t put it down. Fell right off that cliff.

The first 3 books are based in the insta love/insta romance between both Nic and Gianna. From the moment they met until the moment they say “I do”. For such quick, short reads, these ladies pack their books full of juiciness and story. It’s not all lustful deeds. Well for the most part it is, but we still get an actual plot.

Can’t wait to see how this series transitions into Brandon and Carly’s book next. And doubtfully so, but I hope this isn’t the last we get of Nic and Gianna, in their POV. 5 Stars!

This I think had a slower pace than the first book, but the content was even more boring. Nothing happens, the relationship is meh, even the heroine is somehow worse.

She found out at the end of the first book that the hero is in the mafia, and her response is to let him do what he wants to her within seconds of finding out, then remembers to be "angry" (her version of angry) and stutters out a "b-but you're a criminal". Dear god, she sounded so stupid whenever she talked (which wasn't much, unless she was repeating things he said). Then he says that the world is not just black and white, which is enough for her. I find characters like her absolutely horrible, and I don't get why authors keep creating these women who are so easily controlled with sex. Especially since the men can always control themselves, even though in reality it's usually the other way around.

The scene where she demands to see his daughter in the hospital, growling quite a long sentence, was ridiculous. How does someone growl so many words? I'm quite curious how that sounds, because I've never heard anything like that in all my years. It's also completely out of character, and rude for no reason.

We also find out she has a family, one who loves her very much, and her parents are just as ridiculous a couple as their daughter and her man. All that stuff about only the man being allowed to call his woman a certain name...so cheesy and stupid. We didn't even find out about her parents from her - it was actually the hero who went behind her back to meet them and then invited them to his place. When she sees her mother, she talks a bit about how he's a criminal, isn't that wrong etc. And what does her mother think about this? Like most mothers who care about their daughters, she tells her with the superiority of a person who has lived and experienced more, that the fact the he loves her is enough (keep in mind they've barely met, she's only talked to the hero once). Like she is such a naive little twit for even thinking that him being involved in criminal activities matters, when he loves her so so much. Who even knows what he does, he could be killing people left and right, dabbling in human trafficking, guns, heavy drugs, things that destroy people's lives. She could be hurt, even killed just by being with him. But for her mother, that doesn't matter.

All interactions between the MCs and other characters were cheesy in the worst way. She is just as much of a bland character, the hero isn't much better and the plot was so boring.

I think I'll just stop here with this series, even though I have the last book as well.

The exciting and sexy continuation of Nic and Anna’s love story is further continued in Danger, pt. 2 in the trilogy by Fiona Davenport called Mafia Ties.
YOU cannot get to book 2 without reading book 1…in this book there is all this angst/bad feelings over the secret that Nic withheld from Anna/ Gianna over what/who he really is; there was a health scare for the DeLucas that amp up the feeling of possible heartbreak and loss that have us readers on the edge of the kindle readers for a little bit , and then the cliffhanger that was a possibility but almost not happened. OMG what a cliffhanger that will be followed up in last book and what one to end the book on- Anna is kidnapped by Nic’s #1 rival, oh my!. Before the kidnapping and in between the chaos we had Nic making everything up to his Anna/ Gianna with such raw passion –it is the kind that can melt my kindle any day of the week.
Ms. Davenport writes great stories that are entertaining and passionate. There is a beginning, middle and end to her stories. Never do you feel there is anything missing to her characters. Danger is part of a trilogy that you cannot miss-DANGER definitely fits this short story and I am on edge to find out what happens to Nic and Anna. You know Nic loves his lady love and puts her first and in Anna’s mind , Nic is it for her…there are still things to overcome and that is where book 3 comes in. #FirenIcenRage- Danger is fantastic.

When I saw page numbers of books, I knew I shouldn't expect too much. But the cover of first book was making my mouth water and story was promising - a very young nanny, a very young Italian MOB man and his sweet but sick princess daughter, they would live together and of course with granny- BUT

DISAPPOINTMENT.

I believe, with all my heart, falling in love at first sight. I do. But between this couple, it wasn't even believable for me. LOL. Just wait a while and be flirty and possessive, not kiss and make her come at second meeting. U needn't write just an orgy teen sex scenes. (and before Gianna, he'd fucked just one woman and she was his daughter's biological mother. It's impossible to sex like God (with Gianna) but normal to being in an orgy, ha?)

And when your baby girl in a hospital u can make sex. Cong! It's a little shit outta crazy.

And if you fall too hard like that, u shouldn't call her my fiancé, call her my woman, at least.

The progress of events are so low, untold and briefly written. I enjoy short stories, but I waited more. Maybe you can like but it just didn't work for me.

This was a fantastic sequel to Gianna and Nic's love story. I couldn't wait to get my hands on this story to see where their love story would take them next, and let me tell you this was one exciting, heated, and captivating ride with them in this part of their story. Danger was bursting with the best amount of steam, all the feels, and a love that just couldn't be denied.

I can't get enough of Fiona Davenport's writing, and they never fail to give me a story full of feels and an intense heat that I just can't get enough of. I can't wait to read the next book in this series to see what is going to happen next with Gianna and Nic. Fiona Davenport has definitely invested me in their story, and I have no doubt that I will love the next installment to this series!!

If you're looking for a quick, well written, and over the top in the best kind of way read, then I highly recommend all of Fiona's books. They are fantastic and I've enjoyed them all so much!
