Cute, though short, board book adaptation of the song Row, Row, Row Your Boat. The chunky sliders and pull tabs will appeal to babies and toddlers and are sturdy enough for repeated circulation. I prefer Jane Cabrera's adaptation for storytime purposes, as it has very similar verses with larger, less dense illustrations. The interactivity and small details make this ideal for a one-on-one reading.

This interactive book has various sliders to enhance the story. I especially liked the polar bear. The illustrations are colorful and the QR code sing along was a nice accompaniment. I liked that different settings were featured during each page spread (stream by a farm, creek through a forest in fall, a polar river, a jungle stream). Thank you to Nosy Crow for providing me a free copy of this book in exchange of an honest review.

I think this is the book I read at the library yesterday, the sturdiest pull-tab kinda thing I'd encountered possibly ever? Unfortunately there's a lot of books with the title of a song that's so very public domain the term doesn't even make sense, so I may not be writing about the one I read yesterday?

Cute slider book adaptation of the traditional song. We were gifted it soon after having our firstborn.

Row, Row, Row Your Boat, illustrated by Yu-hsuan Huang. INTERACTIVE BOARD BOOK. Nosy Crow (Candlewick), 2017. $9.

Little ones can push and pull their way through the classic song with some surprise verses.
The Nosy Crow designers are masters at pull tabs and such that are very sturdy and fun to play with. A great book to toss into a diaper bag or have on a low shelf to be enjoyed and abused.

Pre-K – ADVISABLE. Cindy, Library Teacher

Jacob has started saying “row row row” and pressing the button to make the tune play. Currently his favourite book.
Age: 9 months old

Jacob recognised the tune & when I started singing, he kicked his legs and was smiling.
