Well 5 sexy stars!! This book was short and sexy!! Let me just say Cassie was looking for trouble when she went out on her balcony and trouble is what she got. The last thing chance needed was to mess with her but after the performance she gave on the balcony there was no way he was going to be stopped.
I think if I was Cassie I would have probably reacted the same way. This book is very intense and naughty!

Power Outage + Chance = A Scorching & Sultry Night!
5 "Power Outage" Star Rating!!!
Cassie is working hard to put herself through school and pay her rent. She is a feisty, independent woman. She has tattoos and likes to wear animal print. Cassie doesn't live in a very good part of town. When there is a power outage, it doesn't phase Cassie. At night she leaves the window open, Cassie believes that she can take care of herself. She carries around pepper spray.
Chance is hiding from the FBI and the mafia and crime boss. He testified against the people that he used to work for. He is trying to blend in and look harmless. Chance is a dangerous man, who has certain tastes. He is an alpha male with a dirty mouth, who likes to dominate.
Chance and Cassie have been watching each other, but don't think that the other person knows or realizes that the other one is there. They image / fantasize what they would like to do / experience with the other person. Both Cassie and Chance have "scars" or things that they are not proud of in their past. As the night progresses, the heat in the apartment and the story-line become red hot and steamy. You will have to read this book to see how it ends.
I have a weakness for bad boys, so I jumped right into this book. This book does end in a cliffhanger. I can't wait for the next book in the series to see what happens next for Chance and Cassie. I adore both characters. Cassie with her spunky spirit, and Chance with that filthy mouth and mind. Taken By Chance is a quick and sizzling read. After reading this book, I have discovered a new author. I am definitely going to look into Ravenna Russo's other books.

OMG what a story at first I was like ok this book will melt your panties off but then I want more.. I was given this heart stopping book in exchange for an honest review and like I said it's great..so good in fact that I wanted more and even I want a happy ending of love for them... He calls himself chance because of this chance to finally enjoy his true colors. He dangerous and wanted but not just by the cops but Cassie too. He is the star in her darkest fantasies and she is so sick of the all to jerky and soft touch punks she needs a man a real one and she found him... He takes what he what's but is it enough or when chance presents itself will he take a chance himself...forever read and enjoy.....

Chance is on the run from the FBI and the crime boss he testified against and it has been years since he has been free to pursue a D/S relationship. Cassie is trying to make enough money to pay her rent while going to art school and trying to live the "normal" life her parents always wanted but it isn't what she wanted.
This a fun short read I finished in one sitting easily. If you have ever had that sex with a hot, mysterious and dangerous stranger, this is definitely a book you want to read. This was so incredibly hot. The ending was also a surprise. There is a cliff hangar that will leave you wanting book 2. Badly.

Ravenna Russo is back with a deliciously dirty read that will leave you hot and craving more. I know it did for me.
While this is a quick read, it certainly packs a smoking hot punch.
Taken by Chance is not for the timid. It contains one undeniably hot alpha with a secret and a target on his back and a college student whose kinky fantasies are about to come true.
This book is darker than the authors other book but if you love books with one hand read sex scenes, dark fantasies coming to life mixed with an actual storyline then look no further for your next read.

I received an ARC copy of this book from the author in exchange for my honest review. Omg this book was steamy. Everything I have read so far by Ravenna has been great. This is the first installment in a novella series that is full of mystery and steam. I am excited to see what happens in the next installment!!

Ahh where's my Chance? ;)

This is the first book I've ever read from this author, and let me tell you, she is making waves. I can't wait to read book 2 !!! She is fantastic in keeping the reader engaged, moving into the plot, and taking us into 1 heck of a nice cliffhanger!
Chance , a Southern by birth, who was in the military long ago got himself mixed up in something with the Mafia ( scarred up part of his face pretty bad) ended up in prison for 4 years ( there's not really a big back story on all that part) then he's put with the FBI witness protection program when he has to testify against the Russian Mafia. Chance decides to take off before the final verdict comes in, and that's how he becomes Cassie's upstairs neighbor on the other side of the country, with the Russian Mafia, and the FBI looking for him his picture put on every single tv and Internet site.
Cassie, A Bad Girl Georgia peach, tats marking most of her short frame, she just dumped her immature frat boyfriend. Of course when the electricity goes out , it makes her uncomfortable, and she calls him , since he's supposed to be in wine country with his frat brothers. When she hears the certain music, then the moaning, she knows exactly where he is, and is done for good. But now needs to "cool" off. Isn't that what happens when the lights go out? Time to get naughty?
Since having a thing for 'mystery man ' (Chance) and Chance having his eyes on 'Miss 7 B' (Cassie) he's watched her from the fire escape many times before, and she is actually excited about it. Wondering what it would be like to submit to this man, take him in, call him Master, she decides to put on a little show for the both of them. Let your imagination run wild as this short story shows you what happens when the lights go out. You could be "Taken By Chance" if you leave your windows open on that hot sultry night. But, what is a girl to do? If you love a short sexy down and dirty story of two strangers in the night, you need to pick up "Taken By Chance". A quick read, it does as the author states, it ends on a cliffhanger. It is "hard" to wait for that next installment. Chance and Cassie, what should've been a one night stand, turns into something more --a kidnapping-- when Cassie dares to remove Chance's ski-mask, revealing the truth of his identity that he'd worked so long to hide. Needless to say, I'm excited to see what the next installment will bring to the story!
