A strong couple, with a great first meeting
I really enjoyed this quick read. A stand alone story, tied to Dietrich in that the characters are related, and live at the same place, the stories are independent of one another.
I really liked how Ben and Layla first met, and the strength that drives her to help others, even when she questions if there is anything she can do to help.

A short story about a family of men that 'change' into bears. Like this series so far, but wish it was longer. 3☆

3.5 Ben Stars
I loved how Ben met Layla buying his granny pantie hoes to funny.
Again we know Ben is a bear shifter, and his family runs the nature park. But what I am not all too sure about it the Dating Agency, its only ever mentioned in passing.
Layla is unlike others where she wants to jump in and help she isn’t afraid when maybe she should be, but if she was the scared kind she never would have helped Dietrich or the children. So I am kind of on the fence about that.
It’s a great little short story and narrated very well. On to book 3 :D

Great Story! A little romance with a hunky park ranger in a woodland setting, who could want more? A lot of action with a rival group. Another wonderful book by Becca Fanning.

A little suspense with a lot of loving! Another fun short read from Ms Fanning. I really enjoyed Layla and Ben's story. What a cute young couple. Had good storyline with some suspense added in.

Ben is the second book in the Bear Dating Agency series. However, the series name is a little deceiving because while a date is set up there is no actual set up for the date. I know from reading Dietrich that Ben has a profile set up at the dating agency but who know about Layla (her friend - not with the agency = set up the date for her). And, while I liked the story I also wanted more backstory. What's the history between Ben and the mystery man? Overall it was fun, but definitely a quick listen/read, coming in at just over an hour. There was not much steam, but the set up of the couple getting to know each other was fun but the reader/listener doesn't get to see munch of it. Overall it was a fun escape that I had on in the background while working. However, listening to the first two books in a row made it apparent just how formulaic these books are.

Wow what a book this was to read I loved it . The characters and the story line was fabulous and it was really sucked me in from the very beginning. Becca Fanning is a fabulous author and her bear shifter books are amazing and this is just another part of her fabulous work.

Audiobook review:
I love listening to Meghan Kelly’s narrations, her voice just pulls you in and you never want to hit stop. The way she gives both the make and female characters their individual voices makes the listen that much better. I was pleasantly surprised with Ben and Layla’s story, I had listened to Dietrich (book 1) in this standalone series first and wasn’t too thrilled with the base. In book 2 we’re provided what I’d like to say is a more meaty storyline. I feel these characters are becoming more developed and their personalities are stronger. Our “Pantyhose Guy” is just the sweetest and witnessing what he will do to protect those around him shows the kind of man he truly is. I will undoubtedly be jumping straight into book 3 to find out more about these bear shifting group.

Short shifter story about a werebear and her being on holiday with a friend who gives her a night out thanks to the bear dating agency.
But it isn't a nice first date, since an enemy shows up. Who also spoils her holiday. Of course she stands by her man.
But of action and the relationship between them is fast forwarded.
Lots of extra stories in this book to read.

This is the story of Dietrich's young brother Ben and how a blind date will change his life for good and bad. Layla carries a heavy feeling of guilt on her shoulders even though she has no reason to. Her BFF arranges a blind date through Karina's dating agency for her while on vacation at Fairbanks Park. Little can she suspect that one blind date could change her life so completely. Ben shows up for his blind date and finds a very old nemesis is sitting at his table. He also finds a very surprised Layla and suddenly feels a very powerful need to protect her from Si the were cat, but soon discovers that it may be Si that needs protecting from Layla.
This has been such a fun trip to Fairhaven and the love life of these hunky Park Rangers. Love, action and suspense all rolled up in one bundle, how cool is that? Oh don't forget the drooling passion.

Another cute read with the Best Brothers and their journeys to find mates. Some werecats battle with the bears over territory and supremacy. Layla has some fears/ issues with gangs and violence she must work through with the Best brothers' assistance.

The first place Ben and Layla meet is definitely different but fun to read. Then all of a sudden Layla turns her back and Ben is gone. Not to worry though cause while Layla on vacation with her best bud Brent she meets him again. Trying to have a date, war with were cats, brother hurt, saving kids and a nana trying to get her boys hitched. These two have a hell of a time getting to know each other inbetween all this. Ben is cute and shy it seems but still a Bear. Layla knows that he is and is instantly attracted to him. They didn't think they would see each other again, but fate or maybe a dating agency had other ideas.

Layla was working in a department store when she first meets Ben, although she didn't know his name at the time. Now on vacation in Fairhaven her friend signs her up for a blind date, with none other than the guy she helped at the store Ben. The date however doesn't go as planned when an unplanned guest is the first one at the table. Ben and his clan of bear shifters get attacked by the unwanted guest who is a cat shifter and his clan. The guy just happens to be Ben a bear shifter but their first date ges sideline when trouble shows up. Great action and yea there is a bad guy! Alway make a book better

This is another sweet romance and a great edition to the series. In this series, a family of bear shifters is finding their mates one by one.
Ben and Layla meet at her job under fun circumstances and later end up on a blind date together while she is on vacation. There is some trouble with some other shifters and it definitely makes for an interesting first date.
I enjoyed the short romance. Ben is a sweet and protective guy. Layla is a fighter who has no had it easy. They bring out the best in each other.

Layla first meets Ben when he comes into her shop. He leaves before she can act on the attraction she feels for him. She meets him again when she goes on vacation to Fairhaven Park, where he is a ranger.
When violence erupts in the park, it brings back memories of Layla's father dying due to gang violence. She must fight past her fears to aid Ben in his fight against a gang of werecats.
Becca Fanning once again brings us a fast paced, quick read with a hot bear shifter in the middle of it all.

A chance encounter with Ben left Layla thinking about the good looking shifter..and an holiday with the best friend is what she needed to see him again.
Danger is waiting for them tho and it brings back horrible memories for Layla.

I was given this book free for an honest review. I read this 2nd book first and was hooked. The story of Ben and Layla was short and complete. Nice to see an innocent finding love in a department store. You don't really need to read the other previous books. This audiobook was short and very sweet. I have enjoyed all the books I have read by Becca Fanning and will continue until they are all gone.

Can't get enough of those bear shifters. This is Layla and Ben's story. This book has action, danger and romance. This is the second book in the Bear Shifter Dating Agency and I highly recommend this series. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
