A handful of snapshots by a famous art photographer lead to a puzzle, murder, and a tale no one wants to believe. It starts in Carmel with a botched theft and a death at an art gallery. From there the mystery slowly unfolds, revealing the details of an unusual man's life as he lived it from the mid-1960s to the present. But we seem to be left with more questons than answers. Wives?
