Eliza is wrong for serving the king
Eliza is wrong for serving the king and her friends are right. The prince is evil, and the king doesn't deserve any loyalty. Angus and Maeve were right for leaving her. That being said I just couldn't like this book with Eliza being stupid and continuously making excuses for those she served.
Eliza never grows as a character and she was wrong throughout most of this book.
Sorry I will not be. Using anything else from this author.

Duskfall by Billy Wong
Eliza finds out that Prince Milton plans to steal the crown. She decides to go and warn the Kings brother of the upcoming betrayal. It is not long and she losses her best allies and must find new ones. Along with a young archer named Charles, they face many battles to save the crown.
A fast paced action adventure with a strong female lead. The plot is original with a lot of action, danger and intense thrilling moments. Both Eliza and Charles are likable, together they are willing to do what they must to see justice is served. I highly recommend Duskfall to those who live action/adventure. Definitely five stars!

An enjoyable tale of adventure and laughter as the unforgettable general Eliza the unreachable, Agnes the great swordsman, mad Maeve and Charles the shortbow try to save their king from the treachery of his brother Prince Milton who has allied himself with the evil duskmen to take over the throne.

Action! Adenture! A really savvy and pro-active young woman who does what must be done in the name of right. See publisher's blurb for clues, but you can't go wrong with Billy Wong for a great page turner!
