This is one of my favorite Mars Attacks series so far. I've been reading the series since it started and I've always enjoyed it, but this one is slightly better than most. This series is based on the famous trading card set from the 1960s which sparked comics, a movie, novels, games, toys and more.

This series still has the somewhat campy feel of Mars Attacks, but it is also more serious than most. Earth has fallen is occupied by the Martians who are occupying themselves by having earthlings fight to the death against monsters and robots in gladiatorial combat. However, when a human starts winning it sparks a revolution against the Martians and things go from there.

It wasn't an entirely original story as we've seen similar tales before, but it was very well done and the art fit in perfectly with the Mars Attacks Universe. Just very well done and honestly better than I expected going in. If you're a Mars Attacks fan definitely pick this one up.
