"Sad? Why should I be sad? It's my birthday. The happiest day of the year."said Eeyore."Your birthday?"said Pooh in great surprise.
It's Eeyore's birthday and none of his friends have remembered it. So Pooh and Piglet plan to cheer him up with presents, and some unexpected suprises... This beautiful little storybook is a great way to introduce young readers to the characters in A. A. Milne's Hundred Acre Wood. Illustrated with E H Shepard's iconic artwork, this is guaranteed to be a bedtime favourite
I came across an audio version of Eeyore has a birthday when my Daughter was looking through a box of cd's that had been free with newspapers over the years. I put it on my ipod just for fun and listened to it in the kitchen whilst cooking tea. It turned out to be a dramatised version with some fantastic voices including Stephen fry,Judy Dench,Geoffrey Palmer and Jane Horrocks was brilliant as Piglet. We will be searching through that box to see if there are any more, as I believe there are three or four other stories dramatised this way.
The characters in the imaginary world of Winnie the Pooh, has a task ahead of them. Getting ready for easy going laid back Eeyore birthday. Everyone has forgot his birthday, and his friends are trying to make it a memorial day for him. It was a amazing how how Pooh and Piglet pulled this off. But the kids absolutely love Eeyore and his laid back ways and the adventure!!!
