Richard Colman lives, works and exhibits in Los Angeles California. Channeling Edward Gorey's sinsister gothic style and Henry Darger's twisted story-telling in equal measures, Colman's work is finely rendered, dark, but also humorous. Over the past five years, Colman has exhibited in well received shows including a solo show at the Merry Karnowsky Gallery in Los Angeles, and ground breaking group shows including Royal Elastics, Street Wise (London), and Career Days at MOCA D.C. with Dalek, Stephen Powers, Mike Giant, and NEWA.
