It was okay. It seemed to long and too short at the same time. Too long of a story to explain very little, almost close to nothing. I’ll give book 2 a shot. Hopefully it expands on Micheal’s story and gets to some action. I did enjoy seeing Spider-Man in one scene. But besides that, I still know very little about the character and any real story.

I remember getting a physical copy of this issue and reading it back in the day. But at the time, I was in no position to be collecting comics consistently, so I didn't keep up with this. Looks like there's not much of it to catch up on.

The cover art is a bit misleading, as it may make one think they're in for a more Gothic story. But once those expectations are out of the way, one may or may not be able to enjoy the aesthetic and setting. Morbius appears to be a homeless man in Brownsville, and to be honest, some of this feels '90s somehow. St. Germain is really annoying, so I guess I'm really invested in seeing him get taken down. It really took Morbius a lot of willpower to not just end him right there.

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I never really had much of an interest in Morbius growing up, and to be honest, the only reason I read this is because it was free on ComiXology. I figured why not.

I'll probably read the rest of the series, or at least the second book. This kept me interested enough to read more.

A good story of Morbius and his permanence in Bronswille. He introduce himself and his attitude, there is nothing more for now, I think that I'll see more in the next volume.

Artwork: 5 out of 5
I loved both the cover and the inside artwork. Per usual, the styles were completely different, but I enjoyed both. Richard Elson did a superb job capturing the emotions and darkness of Morbius and his world without being too literal. Bold pops of color kept the comic visually appealing, and the movement and characters were perfect. The artwork never felt stiff or boring.

Story: 5 out of 5
For those new to Morbius... he was a Nobel Prize-winning scientist who studied blood diseases. Upon discovering he was dying of a blood disorder, he attempted to cure himself (with the help of Emil Nikos), but instead he was accidentally turned into a vampire similar to those from lore. Morbius desperately wants to be good, and seeks redemption for the horrible acts he has committed. He attempts to fight his wicked side, although that is often easier said than done. In Morbius: The Living Vampire, we meet up with the legend and learn a bit about his past. This issue was essentially an introduction to Morbius. While just a little intro of what’s to come, I loved this first issue. It was unexpectedly cocky and sarcastic at times. I was expecting nothing but doom and gloom, so it was an entertaining surprise. I can’t wait for Issue #2

This is my favorite comic book so far. I think that it is pretty humorous and interesting. It is also very easy to follow for those who newly started reading comics. I also like the cover a lot it is very interesting.

This is a great comic book for fans of the marvel universe. It has great art and a great story featuring Michael Morbius, a misunderstood scientifically created vampire
