I read the previous version of this book which was shorter, but basically the same plot...so I was curious to see how it would pan out with the added details and changes.
Michael and Charlotte meet at a funeral where her angry actions leave him intrigued. They have an instant attraction but Charlotte has a secret that holds her back from getting close to men.
Charlotte's career as a financial planner has her helping Michael's business and each appointment gives them time to get to know each other.
Will she help save his business? Will she reveal her secret and find true love?
This is a wonderful romance between two people with problems. One who is emotionally scarred and one feeling unworthy due to physical scarring.
I highly recommend this story for lovers of romance and HEAs.
