Love isn’t easy. If there is one thing I’ve learned, that’s it. Love doesn’t last because it’s perfect or fate, it’s because two people decided to fight for it. They hold on tighter than anyone else when times get tough. And right now, times are really tough.
It’s a good thing I have a strong grip.
We’ve been sucked into a world filled with politics and appearances. It’s triggered silent demons that Jake thought he’d beaten long ago, and running from them isn’t an option this time. We’re in this together. We’ve already lost a decade, I’m not losing another minute.
This is the final installment in Jake & Eve's love story!
Alexis Anne writes page-turning romances that will leave you breathless and wanting for another happily ever after. Her new book KING OF WANDS is available now!
Fast. Volatile. Gorgeous. Those are the words they used to describe Kingston Reynolds on the first day of my internship. Well, it wasn’t so much of a description as it was a warning. Do not fraternize with the drivers if you want to keep your job.
“My very first Alexis Anne book and now I'm wondering what I've been waiting for. It was a real page turner!! Gripping, edgy and very exciting.” --Tish Cocktails and Fairytales
Back again from that dark hole Jake have Eve to thank for that
The next episode of Eve and Jakes story was amazing he found a new family had two beautiful daughters, fell into that black hole again and it nearly cost him his best friend his marriage and his beautiful girls. Eve was on a mission and tried to make Jake fuck the hurt away and look at his life he was missing. Getting back in a routine was great for them all then the hurricane hit and the usual most prepared Eve was lithe least prepared and they ended up in a mall with hundreds of others and just when they thought they could get away hell rained down and they were trapped. Jake was frantic then decided to work with the engineers and get his family out. This has been a great story from their first meeting to their life now. Highly recommend books and a great story
This is the very best of Jake and Eve. However, if you haven’t read all of the previous books, you’ll probably be confused. There are parts of this that are a little confusing even if you have read all the earlier books. This one jumps us forward several years in time when Jake and Eve’s happy life is shaken by the revelation of who his maternal family are. Once they’re able to clear the angst and stress of that situation, they’re forced to face the fury of Mother Nature. I’m not really sure how those two story lines related, but I loved seeing the Spencers and all their friends and family pull together in those darkest hours.
Loved it! Jake and Eve, some years later. He finds out about the part of his family that he's never known about, not really and truly anyways. Problems arise, but with Eve's love they make it through. Great book! Must read!
This was a great ending to their journey. This couple have such a great relationship and support each other so much. I loved it and really sad that their story is over.
In my humble opinion this was a great ending to Jake and Eve's love story. I wish the book would never end. Jake so broken until Eve. Now they have a beautiful family little Max and sweet Sam. Jake has healed because of love!
I really enjoyed this series and this last book didn't disappoint.
The relationship between the characters is one we all dream of that transcends time. Will he be able to finally put his past behind him or will it destroy all that he has built. Will he loose is family to a natural disaster or will she loose the man she loves more than life itself.
Those answers and more will be revealed in this book.
