Welp.
They managed to fuck up an excellent story because... I dont know why, actually... the episode was right on track, the revelations were pretty interesting (even though lazy with the set up), then we got a pretty impressive action scene, because Dredd, y'know, and then... pretty nothing. That's it, they wrapped up everything, left an open ending, because the villain could return, y'know, and adios...
I found it really frustrating, especially when I found out that this was the last episode, although, clearly, fuckin' much was left to say...
We need a goddam sequel to this !

On a side note, the bonus story is an interesting view on the LGBQT matter in a fascist world, even though I found it a bit too much on the caricature.

* See my review of Dredd: Dust # 1

Other notes: The pacing of the series kinda reminded me of a noir, but one with Lawgivers and sound grenades.

The reveal/backstory is very intriguing as well, when all the pieces fall into place.

P.S. The bonus comic in Issue #2 is a very relevant Dredd story about LGBTQ love in a fascist state.
