'Nordic Bound' by Christine Edwards is book three in the "Nordic Lights" series. This is the story of Ingvild and Aksel.
Ingvild is trying to help save her little brother Kjetil from some Neo-Nazi group called the Norsemen. The group has really tricked him into gambling and loosing a lot of money. Now Kjetil needs to pay up or pay in blood. Ingvild goes to the leader of Norsemen to ask if she can do something to help her brother. The leader tells her she needs to steal a mask from Aksel.
Aksel is a Dom who has not been in a relationship in a while. One night he is awaken by someone breaking into his house. Aksel confronts the 'robber' and tries to stop the robber from taking anything of his. But has no luck in doing so but does ends up shooting the robber. For the next few weeks Aksel tries to find the girl robber and get back his mask.
When Aksel and Ingvild meet they are quickly attracted to one another but Ingvild has issue with trying to comes to turn with what she did. Aksel realizes that Ingvild isn't the hard core criminal and was only trying to help her family. Aksel also see her as a 'sub' and wants to get more involved with her. But can they stop the leader of Norsemen from hurting Ingvild?
This was a really exciting read!!

I really enjoy this series and the whole cast of characters we've come to know, but I didn't like this one as much as the last book. It was a good story, but I just didn't feel the same connection between Ingvild and Aksel.

Nordic Bound is another hot read in the Nordic Lights series. Christine Edwards never disappoints with her books. She’s got a knack for telling a love story backed by a plot that keeps you interested and invested in her characters. Aksel and Ingvild were no exception. Since this was the third book in the series, I enjoyed the heck out of “seeing” couples from previous books and what they’re up to now. But Aksel and his gruff dominance and his penchant for spankings kept me glued to my seat (when I wasn’t squirming) and I think he was brilliantly matched with Ingvild. His experience and her inexperience made their relationship and subsequently Ingvild’s submission that much sweeter. I was so worried for her brother and what trouble with the Norsemen would bring, but as usual, Ms. Edwards delivers a happy ending that left me warm and fuzzy. And jonesing for more.

Aksel can´t believe his eyes when someone tries to rob him of the family heirloom, and when it turns out to be a woman he´s even more gobsmacked. Hitting her with a bullet, she still gets away, but Aksel vows to find her again. The answer turns out to be closer than he expected.
Ingvild knew that her deal was too good to be true and when the devil comes to collect more, she´ll need help. Who would have thought that the best bet would be the man she conned?
Contemporary romance, suspense, action and smutty fluff on the dominant side in a great combo.

Nordic Bound right out of the gate starts out with fast paced action. Leading to complicated entanglements between the two main characters, Ingvild, a blonde blue-eyed headstrong little goddess of a girl, and Aksel her much older Dominant of a man counterpart who do not meet each other on the best of terms in the beginning.
From their first dynamic meet-up, to their undeniable passions for each other they soon realize they must explore each other together all the while trying to stay alive from a threat all too real that brought them together in the first place. This story is quick and will place you right in the action and in their minds as they explore that sexual energy that pulls them together.
Wanting more story of them to fill many more pages was my only desire for this book. If you want a nice little adventurous romp filled with some well written BDSM play, with a good girl who knows how to say ,"Yes, Sir" or else! Then this is your book....:)

I always enjoy Christine Edwards books, and Nordic Bound was a book I breezed through, intrigued by the plot and loving the romance. Ingvild and Aksel's story is intense - Ingvild is attempting to save her brother from the trouble he's gotten himself into, while Aksel is the perfect Dom to her submissive. Brought together when saving her brother comes at the price of stealing from Aksel, their story begins, and from there, things only pick up and get more intense.
I love how well Christine Edwards balances her stories - the romance is the more prevalant story, yet it cannot exist or flourish without the rest of the plot and the danger that comes with it. It is one of the best things about her books, and Nordic Lights was no exception.
Short and sweet, this book is one to finish in a day and sweep you off your feet and into the bewitching world that Christine Edwards has crafted. Ingvild and Aksel's story is one you won't want to miss.

Ingvild's younger brother gets into some serious trouble and ends up owing money to the leader of a Neo-Natzi MC. Ingvild is offered a way out for her brother but it involves stealing a gold mask from Aksel. Through many twists & turns, Aksel ends up protecting Ingvild which brings them closer together and gives Ingvild the opportunity to learn about Aksel's proclivity towards the BDSM lifestyle.
I loved the fact that we get to revisit some of my favorite characters from the previous two Nordic Lights books, Naughty In Norway & Nordic Lessons.
Nordic Bound is one of those stories that sucks you in and doesn't release you until the very end. A fantastic read full of danger, suspense, and love scenes so hot they could melt an iceberg!

I received an ASC for an honest review. (My first one and boy was I excited). I love all of Ms. Edwards books but the 3 Nordic Lights are my very favorites.
This is the story of Ingvild asnd Askel. Ingivild gets caught up with a nasty group of neo nazi's called The Norsemen. In order to save her brother Kjetili, she is sent to Askels place, far in the north, to steal something valuable.
The story takes off from there and its steaming hot. 5 stars, I loved it. Well written, no errors I caught. I only wish they were longer. Well done Ms. Edwards, I'd be happy to read and review any ARC copy you'd like to send my way! Enjoy folks!

Ingvild will do anything to protect her family. Getting involved in her brother’s mess she finds herself having to try and clear his name. The one thing she has to do is steal a priceless family heirloom from a home. She thought this would be easy. That is until she ends up in a fight with a man and a bullet in her shoulder.
The only thing Askel loves more than building his custom furniture is to let his Dominant side come out and play. In a desperate plea to find the woman that stole from him he goes to a party that his close friend invited him to. When he takes his first look at her his body comes to life.
Askel learns the truth about Ingvild and wants to protect her from the Neo-Nazi leader that is after her. As they get close to each other and learn that they have similar interest the pages become scorching hot. The chemistry between them is electric. Not only is she a perfect sub, she is a perfect match for Askel in every way.
This is the third book in the Nordic Lights series and another great read from Christine Edwards! The storyline is great, the heat level is scorching and the characters are very easy to love.
My Favorite Moment: I really like when they run into each other for the first time at the party. There is nothing like seeing who you are really dealing with.

Aksel is a skilled craftsman, creating some of the most prized furniture for the BDSM lifestyle the world over. But his work keeps him solitary and very much alone. One faithful night, all that changes when he catches Ingvild trying to leave his home with his most prized possession.

She always adds things to her books that will send you running to your laptop to search for what they are! I had never heard of "Muse" or "Massive Attack" until Nordic Bound. It's like she has the perfect recipe for the world's best dish; carefully sprinkling in ingredients when & where they are needed.
I give a well deserved 5 STARS to Nordic Bound and carry the words of Ingvild with me: "FEAR CAN CAUSE YOU TO REACT IN WAYS YOU'D NEVER THINK POSSIBLE." Although that fear stirs up a great deal of madness and mayhem, it leads two people together in a wildly different way. In the end, they realize material things can never out weigh the future they can have that will last a lifetime.

A Solid 4 Hot Alpha Viking Stars!
This is the story of Aksel and Ingvild, the 3rd book in the Nordic Lights series!
Ingvild first meets Aksel while committing a serious crime against him. During this crime she ends up being injured!
The second time she meets him, she is at the clubhouse where one of her brothers is an MC member. She manages to get away as Aksel tries to catch her..... He JUST missed!
As Aksel is good friends with the MC Pres Mikkel, he is able to get info to find the elusive Ingvild, and find her he does!!
Nervously she says, “I’ll talk to you, but only if you promise not to hurt me again, and once I tell you what I know, you have to swear to leave me alone.”
She might as well have stabbed me in the gut with a rusty spike with that one. For a Dominant, the absolute worst thing in the world is to be accused of ‘hurting’ a woman for the sake of pain. No, pleasure and rewards follow punishment and all of it is craved intently by the submissive.
Aksel ends up protecting Ingvild against the Norsemen and their batshit crazy leader Lars. During this time Ingvild learns of Aksels "kink" while seeing what his craft is.

I have to say i have enjoyed all 3 books in this series so far, and part of this reason is how the author doesn't flower the alphas up or make them billionaire gazillionaires, No highend cost the Earth for membership clubs etc! They make me think Nordic vikings, even though i have never EVER met a Nordic Viking! <<<< Made sense in my head! :)
