The storyline was good, in the beginning I was a little bored but in the middle and towards the end that's when it got interesting. I kind of got tired of the games Danity and Kayne were playing with each other but they got it together. I can guarantee you his baby momma Keisha is the one took Kay Kay now I'm anxious to see what part 2 looking like

D & K was good ass hell!!!! I love some Kayne even though he's crazy ass hell but he's good for Danity... They bring out the best in each other. The ending had me kinda in tears when Kay Kay was kidnapped... I love that smart mouth little girl, Lol!!! But I got a feeling it's either her mom, babysitter, Red or the stripper chick... Another great storyline!!! You are doing your THANG!!!! I need part 2 like ASAP!!

Storyline was good. I'm anxious to read pt.2 although I'm already sure who the kidnapper is. I'm just happy that Danity finally stopped acting like a child. Yes, Kayne is an ignorant a$$ man but he was always that, even during their very 1st encounter so he never gave her indication that he gave a f?@k when he didn't. She on the other was wayyyy too indecisive and a tease. Anyhow, good job ladies.

Hot read!
Man let me tell you kayne mouth is reckless and disrespectful. I don't see how danity put up with it. So much drama though it will keep you engrossed till the end. I love and the editing is also a plus. 5 stars all the way.

Not much going on in this besides foolishness. It’s one thing to be an ass but nothing about Kanye’s behavior was cool let alone attractive. This was like reading the mind of a dummy who would do anything just for a man’s attention. Even the ending was plain, let me guess, it’s going to be Keisha. There’s no relationship in this one and if it wasn't for kindle unlimited I’d return it even if it was free.

Ok, but.....
This is an ok book but the writing skills are very basic. I was recommended the book from one of my book club members and find it just to be ok. Some parts are very unbelievable, theres profanity use at times for no reason, and grammar is questionable.

This is an ok read. I am used to much faster reads. This moved rather slow. Especially her not telling him she was a virgin. Hopefully book 2 is better.

I'm going to be honest I purchased this book purely to support this publisher. I didn't really have any idea if this was going to be something that I would like or not but I wanted to do my part with being a supportive reader. Boy am I glad that I took a chance!!!! Danity & Kayne couldn't have been more like night and day if they tried. Danity was this polished young lady, business owner, and in a committed relationship for years with a man that she had never been intimate with(I know stranger things have happened though LOL). Kayne is a single father raising his daughter with the help of his parents and that in and of itself would make you think that he was this endearing character. I hate to burst your bubble but that couldn't be further from the truth. Kayne is the guy who was born without a filter. You couldn't pay him to not speak the words that he thought. Whatever he felt it was coming out and while in theory that may seem like a refreshing quality, when watching it all unfurl in real time it's equal parts funny, shocking, and sometimes downright ridiculous some of the things this dude would say. Fatherhood you would think would be the side of him that allowed us to see his vulnerability and while yes his little "she-devil" Kay-Kay had moments where she elicited such emotion from Kayne, most of the time you thought that he was in a verbal sparring match with a "whole" grown man!! LMBO. With all of that however, I must say that I absolutely loved this dude. He was different he pushed the envelope of polite decorous behavior and did it all unapologetically with a flare that made you want more and more from him. I think the most hilarious character in the book for me besides little Kay-Kay was Toni. Toni was Danity's gay best friend and some of his lines in the story had tears literally pouring out as I laughed like a hyena hopped up on speed. All in all this was a really good book. If there was one caveat to the story it would be Danity's level of naivety with Kayne and some of his more scandalous ways with women. She wasn't weak-minded and she was seemingly one in possession of a backbone of steel but there were instances where her woman's intuition was telling her the plain truth of her man's bad behavior but she second guessed those moments. All in all though this was a dynamic story for these first time authors and quite frankly I have to say that I will be sitting on pens and needles as I anxiously await the sequel to this captivating read. Kudos Authors Antronette & Riri. You took a character with some of the most deplorable characteristics and humanized him all while crafting cinematic imagery with the use of the printed word!!!

I have a problem with unfaithful men. I can understand a man being single and doing his thang... But even still, I feel some type of way. A man who can't control his hormones is a boy and I don't fuck with little boys. Sooo, how this woman or in my opinion little girl knows her man is out there cheating and still giving him the business is kind of eeeeew. Oh my god. Because that is nasty. That's how people get diseases. Ain't no man of mine running around having me looking stupid because he can't control his hormones. That's not a man. A real man can't be lead by his dick. In any scenario. You know you got a good woman at home but you out here acting like somebodies fuck boy? No thank mam'. It just shows how weak this woman is, staying with a man that's doing you dirty like that is not strength. Y'all don't have kids or nothin' Jesus, and yet you letting this fool play you. No sir! The writing was good but some of the scenarios is this book worked every last nerve. Y'all black authors got to do better about how our Kings should stand and how our Queens should be treated by their side.

This book was so dam good, I couldn't get enough of it. Like the writing was everything, this Author really know what she was doing making the book so funny. The words that was coming out of these characters mouth had me dying laughing, especially Toni. He make me wish I had someone like him to call my best friend. I really like Danity and Kayne's relationship and I hope they can work everything out and stay together since Kayn's daughter was kidnapped in Danity's care. I dying to read book 2, please hurry up lol.

I absolutely love this book! Kayne is arrogant,cocky, and rude but I love it! He and Danity chemistry was everything but it took for her to leave him alone to get some act right haha...I love Toni and MiMi they trip me out MiMi would go in on Deuce but won't leave him alone,maybe she needs to put a Danity move...I know Kisha ok deadbeat ass took Kay Kay, I'm so ready for part 2

1st of all, these characters are so rude and arrogant. Which one of my child's teachers can walk around openly saying "my nigga"? I need the person who teaches our children to have some more class. This book had so much potential, but this hood rat acting, gum popping, 23 yr old virgin, is unnatural. Go back to the drawing board. Perfect your craft and not give us garbage like this to read.

Loved it! I couldn't put this down. Kayne was such an ass and Danity was just the lady to put him in his place. This was a good girl meets bad boy page turner with crazy characters that constantly made me laugh. There was less focus on street life and more focus on the romance which I appreciated. The ending was great. Hopefully the next book comes out soon after that cliffhanger.
