This complete edition contains all 3 books in the Shifting Impulse series. You’ll meet bear shifters Adam and Ryan Ford, as well as their human mates Anna Morison and Celine James. You’ll get to know Shifting Impulse’s most famous bartender, Janet Parker and the bear shifter who stole her heart, Sean Spike.
Shifting Impulse, or SI as the regulars call it, is a club and one of the few places in the world where shifters are destined to meet their fated mates. Before they were born, their souls set a date and a place for them to meet when they were at a turning point in their lives and they needed a push to move forward.
Humans call these meetings coincidences and think they are random. Some humans believe in coincidences and others don’t. The same goes for shifters. They have heard of fated mates, but sometimes even they find it hard to believe they exist.
Lucky number 3 proved to be stronger than the legendary ill-fated Friday 13 as these 3 couples reunite on the same night, in the same place, even around the same hour.

Book 1 – Anna and the Bear
Anna Morison is a sassy, curvy, thirty-year-old, workaholic, corporate attorney who decides to dance the night away at her favorite club, SI. She finds herself captive in a hot stranger’s arms and she is set on letting him know she isn’t interested. Is that really the case or is she just kidding herself?
In contrast with Anna’s indecision, bear shifter Adam Ford knows exactly what and who he wants and is very determined to hold on to his fated mate.

Book 2 – Celine and the Bear
After an awful day and several lost rounds of darts at SI, Ryan Ford, Adam’s twin, bumps into his fated mate, Celine. Here’s the catch, Ryan’s not in the best of places. He’s struggling to get his bear under control and keep his life and business at a very high level.
Being the bold, commanding yet curious Alpha that he is, Ryan uses Celine’s birthday as an excuse to talk to the woman who manages to render his bear speechless
Celine James only wants to live a peaceful life and has been doing just fine on her own. Deciding the hot guy who gets her a present for her birthday is only looking for a one night stand, she gives in thinking one memorable night is enough.

Book 3 – Janet and the Bear
Janet Parker, bartender at Shifting Impulse, had mixed feelings about being at work that night. That was mainly because she organized her friend’s birthday party, took the night off weeks in advance, but ended up working anyway. The last thing she needed was a scorching-hot shifter following her every move from a distance.
Landscape and wildlife photographer Sean Spike only intended to be in North Bloom Lake for a weekend to attend his friend’s photography exhibition. He doesn’t expect to find the woman who can awaken his bear with just her presence. Not in a club called Shifting Impulse anyway.
Protecting their hearts from being shattered into million pieces again is high on their priority list, but is loneliness really a fair price to pay?

Finding your mate
These stories overlap as the characters are related or know each other. Each story starts on the same night and weaves it's own tale. In the end it's a family affair.

I orginally read this series of books when they where first released, something about the idea behind it kept me NEEDING to read them all. Quickly finding myself lost within the first book & falling in love with the characters within...
'Anna & the Bear' is book 1 in the "Shifting Impulse" series & is also Aurora's debut book. I found it intriguing that the leading lady Anna was older than you normally read, yes she was strong, but she also had a weakness there too. Our leading man Adam is cool, calm & surprised to finally find his mate, especially after searching for so long...
'Celine & the Bear' is book 2 in the series, starting at the same time as book 1 (loved this idea). Ryan is Adam's twin brother, they are out at the a night of darts when Ryan smells the desirable scent of lilies, searching tha bar his eyes land on the birthday girl across the bar...
'Janet & the Bear' is book 3 in the series, once again starting at the same time as books 1 & 2. Janet is Celine's best friend & a bartender at Shifting Impulse & finds herself working the night of Celine's birthday. I really wished each of the books were longer, I could have read so much more. I really do love how all the books were set to start on the same night in the series, but about 3 different leading ladies. I really hope there is more to come.

It's ok
It was good enough to finish. The first two books lacked a bit of character building. The third was much better. All three books are all similar, women with insecurities who have been hurt before and men who wasn't sure they would be accepted because they are shifters. All were HEA endings and can be read as a standalone.

These stories were so cute,nothing better than reading about a whole family of shifters at one time.Each bear has his own story and they are well worth reading.So get a cup of tea or whatever,put up your feet and get lost in these stories.
