Athena Lee has had a very difficult couple of years. After surviving years alone lost in a distant galaxy she joined a new Navy and has been reassigned to her home planet. At first her family is happy to see her. Interstellar politics intrude upon her happy visit. Revolution is in the air, in more ways than one. Pirates return to threaten her planet. A hidden conspiracy emerges that threatens the galaxy. What can one lone Engineer do against all of that?

Athena Lee is here again with a great adventure. In this one she is now the Chief Engineer of the space station above the Planet of Hong Kong. They are talking to allies and fending off the empire. She and Wilson are a great team that works together very well. Can’t wait for the next story.
The stories in this collection would usually merit 4 stars but the editing was nonexistent. With misplaced commas, unnecessary apostrophes, missing words and awkward phrasing, these stories seem more like works in progress rather than finished goods.
Otherwise, the stories were fun if not predictable.
quirky AI and brilliant engineer makes for fun and mayhem
Nice pace and more rounded characters in these later books. Athena and Wilson have been a good partnership and fun to read. The defence of a planet and exposure if the Cabal made for a good plot line. Some tighter editing would be good.
While the spelling and grammar errors continue, the story telling itself improved. Still the overall plot is rather simplistic and the evil secret society is using henchmen dumber than ever.
Needs editing in a serious way: grammar, wrong words, and in general. I read it for free from Kindle Unlimited. I wouldn't suggest paying for the book.
