From the mind of one of the most popular YouTubers of all time, DanTDM, comes a graphic novel adventure that reimagines the Minecraft-style worlds and characters he's created like you've never seen them before.After a day of experiments, Trayaurus and DanTDM are about to call it a night when a strange-looking crystal plummets to earth, breaking into five pieces that scatter far and wide. DanTDM and Trayaurus recover one of the shards and quickly realise they are in possession of an object more powerful than anything they've ever known. Word reaches DanTDM and Trayaurus that other pieces of crystal have been recovered - a group of pigs have harnessed the crystals' power to enable them to talk. But they're not alone - their archenemy Denton has also found a shard and manipulated its power for evil. He has created a cloning machine, producing a terrifying, marauding army intent on hunting down the remaining crystals in his effort to become all-powerful. It's down to DanTDM and Trayaurus to stop him. Will they prevail, or will the forces of evil be too great for them to overcome?

Dan TDM (which stands for The Diamond Minecart) is my favourite Minecraft YouTuber. I watch his videos on line nearly every day, and love the way he plays Minecraft and have learnt a lot from him.

The day I got this book, I actually saw DanTDM on tour, in Liverpool. I would have loved to have met him and got my book signed, but he was charging an extra £29 for the privilege (think that might have included the price of a book, but not sure)!!!! So we just paid our £21 per ticket and enjoyed the show.

The book was very good and very funny indeed. I really like comic strip layouts. The plot is about Dan TDM trying to rescue special crystals and put them in the right hands, before his enemy Benton got his hands on them to use them for evil.

This book is amazing, it as a very nice story and a slight twist in some parts Hats off to teamTDM (includes Dan).

If your kid likes DanTDM and/or Minecraft, they will probably love this book! I enjoyed it, but I'm partial to Dan's British accent (We read it out loud doing our best DanTDM impression). Cute story, and the pictures had my son laughing.

So, I'm not exactly the target demographic. We got this for our son who loved it and I gave it a read.

I've watched a number of Dan's videos and enjoy them and really appreciate his focus on creating kid-friendly videos.

And this is definitely aimed at kids. It doesn't contain anything for adults in the way a Pixar movie does or even something like Captain Underpants. But it's a first outing and is a fine effort. It'll be interesting to see if he does any more.

My son, who is 10, is a VERY reluctant reader. I have spent a ton of money trying to find his “love for reading.” We were at Barnes and Noble and I saw this pic, I knew he was a Dan TDM fan. I didn’t tell him who authored it, just asked him to read the first 2 pages and if interested, we would buy it. He loved it, loved the comic book format (not a comic book fan himself, but I think he found the format a lot less overwhelming.) He read the entire book in one day. He couldn’t put it down, and immediately wanted to talk of the adventure he had just taken with this powerful crystal and Trayaurus! To say this made my mom heart swell, is an understatement. I am only disappointed Dan TM hasn’t released anymore. I am on the search for similar style books, if anyone can help. Thank you, Dan, for getting my son excited about reading!!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
