Being The Hero She Wishes She'd Had

••• Not for the transphobic, homophobic, or closedminded •••

Kirsten finally quit having nightmares about her mother. Maybe it was saving Evan from his own horrible *home* life... Or maybe it was when he taught her to astral project and she confronted the of her mother's abuse. Who knows? Either way she knows she wants to give Evan something she never had, a real Home. Will they let her adopt him? Or even foster him? Or will they say she is just too young? Will he even want to live with her? Or is she just projecting her past hopes and dreams onto a kid that just happens to have a similar background and the same powers? Can she do this? Or will she just fail them both in the end?

***This series is suitable for adult readers who enjoy dystopian futuristic sci-fi with plenty of intrigue set in a post postapocalyptal world where nothing is as it seems and the paranormal vies with advanced science for control of the world :)
